
‘Superman' cast, creatives visit Manila, snap photos with jeepney
The cast of the upcoming 'Superman' movie, David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan, paid a visit to the Philippines as part of their world tour.
On social media Friday, the film shared photos of the stars alongside director James Gunn and co-producer Peter Safran in Manila.
'#Superman rolled up in a jeepney and Manila rolled out the love,' the caption said.
The cast and creatives also posed for photos inside a Superman-themed jeepney painted blue, red, and yellow.
'Superman' opens in cinemas and IMAX on July 9. It establishes the iconic hero in the new DC Studios cinematic universe headed by Gunn and Safran.
According to Gunn, "Superman" has become more than a movie for him. "It's a story about humanity, about what it means to be a hero in a world that doesn't always make it easy to be one.'
The film also stars Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell.
