Pick your Man Utd player of the season
We asked our Manchester United fan contributor for their four candidates for player of the season and you can now select your top one.
Bruno Fernandes
Fernandes is understandably the favourite to retain his Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year trophy at the club and join David de Gea and Cristiano Ronaldo on a record four wins. He has been a level above again, and deserves better than Manchester United's current depths.
Amad Diallo
If not for an unfortunate ankle injury that sidelined him for three months, Amad would dominate the player of the season ballots. The exciting Ivorian has exploded this term and committed his future to United until 2030 in January.
Noussair Mazraoui
Mazraoui arrived as an add-on in the Matthijs de Ligt deal last summer, which has proven to be a £17m masterstroke. The Moroccan has shown commendable consistency at full-back, centre-back, wing-back and even in attacking midfield, and he undoubtedly has a role to play in Ruben Amorim's mammoth rebuild.
Harry Maguire
Not only has Maguire continued his renaissance at the heart of Amorim's back three, but he has also contributed multiple clutch goals. Among them were Porto (90+1), Leicester City (90+3), and, of course, Lyon (120+1) - one of the most memorable in Old Trafford's iconic history.

Report – Inter Milan To Seek Exit Route For Ex Porto Star & Then Sign Man United Flop
Report – Inter Milan To Seek Exit Route For Ex Porto Star & Then Sign Man United Flop Inter Milan are looking to find a way to offload striker Mehdi Taremi, and the move for Manchester United's Rasmus Hojlund. This according to today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. Advertisement Inter Milan are planning out their attack for the upcoming season. Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram will remain at the club, barring major surprises. Then, the likes of Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa have already left the club. Meanwhile, Inter are on the verge of wrapping up a deal to sign striker Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma. The Frenchman has been the early priority in the transfer window. But with a deal for Bonny now imminent, Inter will move on to other priorities in attack. Inter Look To Offload Mehdi Taremi Then Sign Rasmus Hojlund MANCHESTER, ENGLAND – FEBRUARY 02: Rasmus Hojlund of Manchester United in action during the Premier League match between Manchester United FC and Crystal Palace FC at Old Trafford on February 02, 2025 in Manchester, England. (Photo by) According to the Gazzetta, Inter will look for a way to get striker Mehdi Taremi off their books this summer. Advertisement The Iranian only just arrived at Inter last summer. He joined on a free transfer from Porto. However, it was a very underwhelming debut campaign for Taremi at the San Siro. The 32-year-old scored a shocking total of just three goals all season. Therefore, Inter feel that Taremi's story in a Nerazzurri shirt is now over. They will wait for offers for the Iranian international. And as far as the player who Inter want to replace Taremi in their squad, there is little doubt. The Gazzetta dello Sport report that Inter will move for Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojund if they are able to get rid of Taremi.

Barcelona in ‘final stages' of agreement for teenage wonderkid
Barcelona are closing in on their second signing of the summer, with Copenhagen wonderkid Roony Bardghji seemingly close to signing for the Catalan giants. Fabrizio Romano has reported that a deal for Bardghji is expected to be completed. The 19-year-old Swedish talent has been on the radar of Europe's biggest clubs since making his debut for Copenhagen at the age of just 16. Over the past two years, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have sent scouts to watch Bardghji, but with his contract expiring at the end of 2025, an opportunity to sign Bardghji at a reduced price presented itself. Deal for Bardghji expected to be concluded this week According to Fabrizio Romano, a deal is expected to be closed in the coming days, with an agreement in the final stages. He would join the Blaugrana in July. Portuguese giants Porto had submitted an offer for Bardghji, as reported previously by Romano, but it seems Barcelona's offer is currently the most attractive, with a number of Europe's elite showing interest. What role could Bardghji have at Barcelona? It is not entirely clear how Barcelona would plan to use Bardghji next season. The teenage starlet tends to play on the right side, cutting in onto his left, in similar fashion to Lamine Yamal, albeit as much more of a striker than their current starter there. Bardghji is coming off nearly a year out with a cruciate ligament injury though, and is only just making his way back from injury. Image via Lars Ronbog/FrontZoneSport via Getty Images It seems tricky for Bardghji to have much of a role in the first team, especially if the Blaugrana sign Nico Williams as they plan to. With Barca Atletic now relegated and into the fourth tier, game time there seems rather unappealing for Bardghji, and it may be that he is loaned out next season to continue his development, albeit this is a route Barcelona have taken less of late.

Napoli and Juventus Competing for Two EPL Targets
Juventus have joined Napoli among the teams tracking Jadon Sancho, who will leave Manchester United again, and both Serie A giants have inquired about Nicolas Jackson, who might be expendable for Chelsea. According to Sky, the Bianconeri have tested the waters for the winger. He has a manageable price tag, €25M. However, his lofty salary is an issue for both sides. The Red Devils are seeking a permanent sale. He can't technically leave on loan since he's under contract only until 2026. Advertisement In addition to tussling for Sancho, along with Fenerbahce and at least one Saudi franchise, Napoli and Juventus have also probed Nicolas Jackson. He's under fire at Chelsea due to a silly red card in the FIFA Club World Cup. They paid €37M to acquire him from Villarreal two years ago. He put up 13 goals and 6 goals in 2024/2025. Per Fabrizio Romano (via SOSFanta), the Senegalese international has a €50/60M valuation that will be hard to meet for the suitors. He's a fallback plan for the Azzurri. They want to see it through for Darwin Nunez before changing target. That also goes for the Manchester United outcast. The Partenopei are focusing primarily on Dan Ndoye and Federico Chiesa, Alfredo Pedullà informs. They have also just rekindled their Noa Lang pursuit. Our Take on Juventus and Napoli Eyeing Sancho and Jackson The former would be a nice reclamation project and is not too expensive at this point, but he'd have to bring down his wages to manageable figures, which is always a tall order. The latter is likely too pricey. As far as the Old Lady is concerned, he might be too similar to Randal Kolo Muani, assuming he'll stay.
