Inter Milan are now rapidly approaching the closing stage of negotiations with Parma for striker Ange-Yoan Bonny.
The Nerazzurri's interest in the 21-year-old is certainly no secret.
Inter had already been targeting him before appointing Cristian Chivu as coach – and the Romanian has further pushed them towards a deal.
Inter see Bonny as an ideal player to follow in the footsteps of Marcus Thuram.

According to the Gazzetta, Inter's move Parma can now be considered a done deal.
Napoli had made a late attempt to see if they could hijack the deal. But there is nothing doing there – Inter have already sealed the deal.

The Gazzetta confirm that Ange-Yoan Bonny himself is very keen on joining Inter.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri have been negotiating with Parma for some time. And the clubs have come to an agreement.
The Gazzetta report that the fee will be somewhere been €23-25 million. Inter's idea would be to reach €25 million with add-ons – Parma, on the other hand, want that amount before add-ons.
Then, Inter could send striker Sebastiano Esposito to Parma as part of the deal, lowering the cash fee.
On that front, everything would depend on whether new Gialloblu coach Carlos Cuesta rates Esposito.
Then, Inter and Parma will work out the exact formula of the deal. It could still be a season-long loan deal containing a purchase obligation.

Athletic Club fans turn cold on Nico Williams over Barcelona move
As the likelihood of Nico Williams' departure increases, the first major public reaction has already taken place back in his hometown. A mural in Barakaldo, a municipality located in the Basque Country, which featured both Nico and his older brother, Inaki Williams, has been altered. Advertisement In the early hours of Sunday, a group of individuals erased Nico's image from the wall. What remains is not just the absence of the young star's face, but also a strong message painted next to it. 'Joan edo geratu, errespetua galdu duzu.' (Translation: 'Go or stay. You have lost respect.'). The mural originally went up in March 2024, following Athletic Club's Copa del Rey triumph. Over time, other club icons like Iker Muniain and Oscar De Marcos were added. However, the recent act of defacing shows how divided emotions have become, especially among fans who feel betrayed by Nico's possible exit. Barcelona working behind the scenes Despite the controversy, the transfer looks set to go through. Barcelona's sporting director Deco has already confirmed that the club is actively working to finalise the move. The earlier mural looked like this. (Photo credit: X/GerardRomero) Advertisement The player's camp is also playing its part. Nico's agent, Felix Tainta, is now trying to convince Athletic Club to accept a payment structure that would allow Barça to pay the fee in instalments rather than all at once. The release clause currently stands at €58 million, but with inflation factored in, the total amount could reach €62 million unless both clubs reach a favourable agreement soon. If all goes according to plan, Nico Williams could soon be wearing the Barcelona shirt, fulfilling a move that now seems more inevitable than ever, even if it comes at the cost of upsetting his hometown supporters.

Fiorentina forward urged against Manchester United transfer
Former Italy goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano has urged Fiorentina forward Moise Kean to turn down a transfer to Manchester United. Kean has been linked with a move to Manchester United after an excellent season in Florence. The 25-year-old scored 25 goals in 44 games across all competitions and was named in the Serie A Team of the Season in 2024/25. After difficult spells at Everton and Juventus, the upturn in Kean's performances have not gone unnoticed with United reportedly among the clubs considering a move forward. Advertisement Kean has a reported release clause of €52million (£44.5m) that will become active between July 1-15. The Italy international is viewed as a more cost-effective option than Viktor Gyokeres, who has been heavily linked with Old Trafford. However, ex-Italy goalkeeper Viviano has urged Kean to snub the move. He believes Fiorentina remains the right place for his development and pointed to a series of signings that have struggled at Manchester United. Speaking to Radio Bruno, he said: 'I hope that the boy understands that Florence can still give him a lot: on more coveted stages, he has, in fact, shown that he has failed, and Fiorentina could be ideal for him for at least another year. 'It is true that, on a sporting level, Manchester United are not shining, but they are still one of the most important clubs in the history of football, with considerable economic power.
