Bobby Brazier has 'turned his back on dad Jeff' as family feud escalates
The drama among the Brazier family is said to have taken a fresh turn, with eldest son Bobby Brazier no longer close to dad Jeff Brazier.
Recent reports claimed that 20-year-old Freddy was at loggerheads with Jeff, 46, who is taking legal action to prevent him from seeing grandmother Jackiey Budden.
Freddy later gave an interview to the Daily Mail, in which he declared that he 'doesn't want to see' his father, accusing him of being image-obsessed without consideration for 'his own sons'.
The younger Brazier brother is due to enter rehab in Spain soon, having admitted publicly that he's been addicted to smoking since the age of 12.
Meanwhile, Bobby, 22, is also thought to be distancing himself, having moved out of the family home in Essex to his own Soho apartment.
The Mail reports that Bobby's new residence is close to Hare Krishna HQ, with the 2023 Strictly Come Dancing star immersing himself in spirituality while processing his and Jeff's strained relationship.
Bobby is believed to be taking part in daily rituals, mantra chanting, and the preparation of communal meals, having become a fan of the religion's 'peaceful outlook'.
The organisation is described online as following the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition of Hinduism, with its teachings deriving from ancient Hindu scriptures.
Consequently, This Morning presenter Jeff is reportedly 'heartbroken', especially as things remain so frosty between him and Freddy.
A source close to the family said: 'Bobby's always had a spiritual side, but this is intentional. It's clear he's trying to leave all the fighting and noise behind.
'Freddy's rebellion is loud—drugs, public slanging matches, and legal battles about his nana—while Bobby's is quiet. But actually it's just as defiant.
'He's turning his back on the life his Dad created for them in Essex and following his own path.'
The insider added that Bobby shows up to Hare Krishna HQ 'every Saturday without fail', joining in the kitchen sessions, lessons, and prayers.
'This isn't a gimmick,' they insist.
And it isn't just Jeff with whom Bobby is thought to have fallen out.
It's claimed that the actor, whose exit from EastEnders was recently confirmed, is also no longer close to Jeff's wife, Kate Dwyer.
Younger bro Freddy has said he and Bobby are no longer best of pals, which is a stark contrast to the supportive scenes the nation witnessed when Freddy and Jeff cheered for Bobby in the Strictly audience.
He claims they are 'all barely speaking,' having previously been very close to his brother, both of whom were only little when their mum, Jade Goody, died of cervical cancer in 2009 at age 27.
'It's always all about image. It's all about money,' Freddy recently claimed in a tongue-lashing of Jeff. 'That's why Bobby moved out of my dad's place, too. He's living in London now instead, doing his own thing.'
He added: 'Me and Bobby don't speak much either. I sent him a message to wish him a happy birthday, but that's it.
'I used to be the middleman between my dad and everyone. But now I can't be bothered. I don't care what happens.'
Contradicting the family source's description of Bobby, Freddy added that his brother is 'the fiery one'.
'I'm chilled out—I zone out and walk away when we argue.'
But there could still be hope for a reconciliation, with Freddy vowing to enter rehab to improve his relationship with his dad, who split from Big Brother star Goody in 2004.
His tell-all interview, in which he said he is 'in a good place', came one day after his Instagram Story statement in which he promised to work on his family relations by 'cutting down' smoking.
In part of his post, he wrote: 'I want to be clean so I can life happily and have healthy relationships with people and be there for all of my family rather then feeling like I'm in the middle and have to choose a side.
'I haven't been able to feel love properly as I have never loved myself and it starts now I want to play football and take up boxing I want to be happy and be in a healthy relationship and have a healthy relationship with my Nana and my father'.
He's also vowed to maintain contact with nan Jackiey, irrespective of Jeff's wishes, and rebukes the idea that he smokes because of her, with Jackiey having lashed out at Jeff herself with explicit rants. More Trending
'Supposedly, he's (dad Jeff) taking legal action to stop me from seeing my nana, but nothing will stop me doing that. She's my family,' Freddy stated.
'And my mum would be upset if she was here to see him doing that. He still tries to treat me like I'm 13. I'm 20 years old.
'He doesn't let me do anything for myself.'
Reps for Bobby Brazier have been contacted for comment.

JoJo Siwa abruptly cancels gay pride gig over 'pressure' to brand her sexuality
JoJo Siwa will no longer be taking part in a Pride event in Chicago next weekend - with the news being announced a day after she candidly opened up about her sexuality journey JoJo Siwa has abruptly pulled out of a gay pride performance just hours after revealing she felt "pressured" to brand herself a lesbian. The 22-year-old American singer has been on a high profile romantic journey since April this year when she met Love Island star Chris Hughes in the UK Celebrity Big Brother house. Viewers watched on in surprise as the pair grew closer and closer over the course of their time in the house. Eyebrows were raised as JoJo was dating an Australian content creator called Kath Ebbs at the time. Once the show ended, Kath was almost immediately dumped by the Dance Moms star and days later it was revealed she and 32-year-old Chris had embarked on a romance. This week, JoJo, who identifies as queer, explained that she had been pressured to declare herself a lesbian. And in the wake of this declaration, it has been revealed she has dropped out at performing at an LGBTQ+ event later this month. She had been due to perform at the Back Lot Bash in Chicago as part of their Chicago Pride Sunday party on June 29. But the organization suddenly announced on Saturday morning that this would no longer be the case. The venue wrote on social media: "Due to a scheduling conflict, JoJo Siwa will no longer be performing at Chicago's Back Lot Bash" - without and further explanation. The Mirror has contacted a representative of JoJo for comment. The abrupt cancellation follows news that the star had cancelled a planned tour. She revealed via her official website earlier this month: "I've got some news that breaks my heart to share... my US tour has to be postponed. I promise I'll be back before you know it to perform for all the beautiful people in the US!... Announcements will be coming soon, including some Europe shows!:)" It added: "Thank you so much for your understanding and support. I can't wait to see you all soon! To my Dream Guest VIPs, my team will be reaching out to you individually to plan something special. Refunds will be issued at point of purchase." Her Chicago Pride cancellation comes a day after she gave a candid interview to the Daily Mail in which she opened up about her sexuality journey. She told the publication: "When I came out at 17, I said: 'I'm pansexual, because I don't care [about gender].' But then I kind of boxed myself in and I said: 'I'm a lesbian.' And I think I did that because of pressure." She continued: "'In a weird way, I think [the pressure] came a little bit from inside the [LGBTQ] community at times. From people I know, from partners I've had. "You just get put in this world where you feel like, because you now have said, 'Oh, I'm a lesbian', you have to be a lesbian. And the truth is, sexuality is fluid." In a recent chat with TMZ, JoJo also addressed the ongoing scrutiny that she's been subjected to as fans have dissected her love life. She told the outlet: "The thing is, love is a beautiful rainbow and I think that the LGBTQIA+ community needs to remember that love is love and think the hate from within the community is something I've learned a lot from and I think that a lot of people get to grow from and I'm on of those people. "I think that again I can give you an example of love is love, you can be happy..." Fans could soon see a lot more of JoJo and Chris and their apparent blossoming love - as rumours abound that ITV is preparing to offer them a reality show of their own. A source told The Sun: "It's still in the early stages but ITV really think they'd be amazing TV with their own show. Fans around the world are obsessed with their relationship and there are so many TikTok accounts devoted to their love story."

'My Egyptian toyboy husband put me off sex - but I still will not divorce him'
Iris Jones, 86, spilled the beans on This Morning about her steamy antics with 40-year-old Mohamed Ibrahim. An OAP who boasted on TV about romps with her Egyptian toyboy says she has sworn off sex for good after their acrimonious split. Iris Jones, 86, spilled the beans on This Morning about her steamy antics with 40-year-old Mohamed Ibrahim and was open about their use of K-Y Jelly - saying their nights of passion left her feeling 'saddle-sore'. As reported by the Mirror, she married Mohamed - who is 46 years her junior - in 2020 in Cairo after meeting him on social media the year before. Her new husband moved to the UK in 2021 - but they split in 2023, and now she says: 'The idea of sex now makes my stomach turn. I'm not interested in men at all, not in companionship with them and certainly not sex with them. 'My experience with Mohamed has put me off relationships for life. I wish I'd never met him.' Iris, a former legal secretary, wed Mohamed on her third visit to Cairo in a civil ceremony, with only his dad in attendance as a witness. Iris, who has two sons, Stephen, 59, and Darren, 58, says before she got married Stephen begged her not to do anything rash. Even the wedding reception being a meal in McDonald's did not put her off, she says, adding: 'I didn't care. I thought I was madly in love, so I would have married him anywhere.' Her desire turned to disdain, however, and she kicked Mohamed out following 'non-stop arguing'. She says: 'I finally realised I had enough. I was so tired from all the housework and cleaning up after him that the physical side dwindled to nothing. 'Mohamed was only with me for my money. I can see that now, and I look back and think, 'How could I have been so stupid?' The Mohamed I met in Egypt was Prince Charming, but living in my bungalow he was like the Prince of Darkness.' Bank statements show Iris transferred Mohamed thousands over the course of a year, which she claims were loans he has not repaid – which Mohamed disputes. The last time she had any contact with her husband, she says, was when she emailed him last year asking for his address so she could speak to the Home Office about his stay in the UK. She says: 'All I got back was him telling me his solicitor's details. I did see him in my local Tesco a few months after I chucked him out. 'When he saw me he tried to run away and hide. I have asked for the money back but I've now made peace with the fact I will never see it again. I don't want to see him again either, but I don't hate him. 'He hasn't ruined my life. I have two lovely sons, two lovely daughters-in-law – a great family life. 'But I feel so much regret for the pain I caused them. They begged me not to marry him. But I didn't listen.' Despite the acrimony, divorce is not on the cards, Iris – who has been divorced before – reveals. She insists: 'I'm not paying out for a divorce. I'm not spending any more money on him. It would cost me more to divorce him than to stay married and I don't want to lose any more money.' Iris says that, since her split, women who tell her they have been conned by romantic partners have contacted her asking for advice. She says: 'I feel like an agony aunt to them. It's very sad that what's happened to me is so common. Some age gap relationships can work. But I would urge women to be careful of relationships with much younger men. They can be genuine but mine wasn't.' These days Iris, who lives in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, has replaced her passion for sex with a new hobby. She reveals: 'I like drawing caricatures. I find it really therapeutic. I do it every day and post my pictures on social media. 'I do draw Mohamed all the time – one drawing shows him as a wolf in sheep's clothing.' When the couple appeared on This Morning, Mohamed told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: 'I love Iris to the point of madness.' He is still in the UK, and says: 'I have been employed legally in England as a welder in construction and as a security guard. 'I have worked hard I have paid tax and have never claimed any benefits since being here in this country. I have been accused of taking [thousands], where is the evidence? I never asked [Iris] for money. I was no scammer. I paid her housekeeping every month.'

Alison Hammond defended by fans after truly toxic comment from cruel troll
This Morning star Alison Hammond was left shocked when a social media troll unleashed toxic, unprovoked comments against her - but she was swiftly supported by her fans Alison Hammond was defended by her fans after coming under a brutal attack from an online troll. The 50-year-old TV host has been in the spotlight for decades after first finding fame on Big Brother in 2002. She has since built up an impressive hosting career on the small screen - landing broadcasting roles including on ITV's This Morning and Channel 4's The Great British Bake Off. As her workload has increased, Alison has enjoyed support and adoration from fans. She has even made a name on an international front as her light hearted interviews with major Hollywood stars have gone viral, making her recognisable to many around the world. However, her increased profile has also attracted negative comments and Alison has at times been the victim of toxic online comments. On social media, Alison commands an impressive following - with almost 440,000 appreciating her content on X alone. At the top of her feed, she has a video clip from 2021 showing her casually sitting on a slow moving mini tractor. An accompanying caption states: "Rolling into My Holidays!" alongside a shades wearing emoji face. On Friday, a fellow user unexpectedly lashed out at the star, writing: "Any time we see you are on TV we switch channels as you turn our stomachs being so fat and repulsive with a huge mouth." Alison reacted to the post, quote tweeting it and writing simply "Wow!" in shock. While the initial message was cruel, Alison quickly found herself on the receiving end of positive messages as many fans rallied around to shower her with complements. One wrote in reaction: "Extremely mean and rude. I love watching you, you bring a sparkle to Bake Off and look after the bakers when they are feeling a tad stressed and upset. Plus the fall off the counter was epic." Another typed: "Alison you know how special and fantastic you are one of life's gems always wanting to make people smile and these disgusting people are not worth giving airtime too you keep being you xx love you bab." And another revealed they often turn to classic clips of the former reality star to help boost their mood, writing: "Their loss! I watch reels of you to pick me up, the Harrison Ford & Ryan Reynolds interview is legendary." Last month, Alison revealed she has a sense of pride about the TV work she does and the fact that some fans have been left uplifted by her interviews. She told The Times: "It's so important to have some light relief and a little bit of happiness in your life. If that comes through me taking the mickey out of a big star in an interview — like I did with Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford or Hugh Jackman — then brilliant, I say." The TV star went on to explain that she has been told by fans how much she has helped them. She said: "I get letters from people saying that they were on the brink of suicide before they watched one of my interviews." She also opened up about how exercise has been helpful for her own mental health. She revealed: "If I'm not filming, the first thing I do — usually several hours before [my son] Aidan wakes up — is go to the gym, where I'll do some heavy lifting. "I've been doing weights for ten years now and I can deadlift 65kg. It's good for my mental health and to prevent osteoporosis. You've got to keep on top of things."
