Aaron Rodgers takes lonely beach walk in Malibu as speculation swirls over his marriage to mystery woman
Aaron Rodgers went for a solo beach walk on Wednesday as speculation continues to swirl around his recent marriage to a mystery woman. Rodgers announced at Steelers practice earlier this month that he got married 'a couple months ago ', with little known about his partner. He previously said on the Pat McAfee Show in December that he was in a relationship with a woman named 'Brittani', and that she did not have any social media. And last week, the Daily Mail exclusively reported that his family was questioning whether the quarterback had actually gotten married. Amid all of that, the new Steelers quarterback was seen enjoying some time off on Wednesday in Malibu as he took a stroll on the beach. The 41-year-old was seen with a black wedding band on as he wore a white tank-top, blue shorts and wired headphones. Rodgers went barefoot on the beach and wore wired headphones in his ears during the walk The four-time MVP was also barefoot as he opted to feel the sand on his feet. Multiple sources told the Daily Mail that friends and family of Rodgers were caught off guard by his announcement that he was married, and public records do not show a trace of a legal marriage. A clerk in the Pennsylvania county where Rodgers was rumored to have moved told the Daily Mail this week that no such marriage involving the football star has been registered (Daily Mail also refuted recent reports that Rodgers had purchased a $29million home in the town of Canonsburg). County officials in Las Vegas also confirmed that there is no record of an Aaron Rodgers getting married there this year. Daily Mail previously reported that Rodgers' brother Jordan - who he has been feuding with for years - and his wife JoJo did not attend Aaron's wedding. The former Packers and Jets star infamously did not attend Jordan and JoJo's wedding back in 2022. Now, insiders have said they are unconvinced Aaron's wedding is real, and suspect he may have had a symbolic 'commitment ceremony' instead of a legally binding wedding. Rodgers' last known relationship prior to this was with actress Shailene Woodley, to whom he was briefly engaged. However, the pair split in 2022 and friends have said Rodgers expressed an aversion to marriage in the past. Rodgers has also dated other high-profile figures such as NASCAR star Danica Patrick and actress Olivia Munn. Nonetheless, sources close to Rodgers' family revealed that 'they know nothing' about his current partner. After attending mandatory minicamp earlier this month, Rodgers will have plenty of time off until Steelers' training camp starts up on July 24. While the quarterback was cut by the Jets earlier this year, several coaches who 'watched Rodgers closely' last year - including members of the Jets, told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler that they believe Pittsburgh got a 'steal.' Although the Jets went just 5-12 last season, Rodgers put up respectable individual numbers as he tossed 28 touchdowns and 3,897 yards.

Anne Burrell's TV co-star reveals their heartbreaking final conversation
Anne Burrell's Food Network co-star Melba Wilson has spoken out about her death, legacy, and their last conversation which came just a week before her death. Burrell, best known for hosting the Worst Cooks in America show and the Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, was found unconscious in her New York home's shower early on Tuesday morning by her husband Stuart Claxton, it is reported. She was later pronounced dead when the emergency services arrived. Her cause of death has not been confirmed, but according to the US outlet and the Daily Mail a rep from the NYC Fire Department said the incident was reported to them as a cardiac arrest. While Burrell has been remembered as a 'beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend' in a heartbreaking statement from her family, her industry friends are also mourning. 'This is a tough time for so many of us that knew Anne and that loved her. It was totally unexpected. So to hear yesterday that she's no longer with us is devastating,' New York City restauranteur Melba told TMZ. Opening up about her last conversation with Burrell, which came a week before her death, Melba explained: 'It was fine. We talked about karaoke. We loved karaoke. Anne loved games, she loved backgammon. We always went out to dinner, and did karaoke.' She continued: 'It's just shocking. It's unbelievable to know that someone so vibrant and full of life is no longer with us. '[Burrell] was at my birthday party a month and a half ago dancing; she loved to dance. Any type of music. Her and her husband Stuart were there and had an amazing time.' Asked whether Burrell has mentioned being sick to Melba, the Food Network star explained that she 'never mentioned anything' about that, which is why her death was 'such a shock'. Melba also described Burrell as being able to light up any room, and said her legacy was laughter. 'Her legacy is laughter. Anne always laughed. She always wanted to teach. She's a fierce competitor,' Melba shared. 'The food industry is full of men, and Anne would go toe-to-toe with the best of them. She always wanted to win. She was always very loving, very giving.' Burrell's family shared a statement announcing her death. 'Anne's light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world,' they said. ‘Panic' over Kate Middleton's health after her sudden no-show at Ascot
Publicly, Kensington Palace sought to downplay Kate Middleton's last-minute decision Wednesday to pull out of making an appearance at the Royal Ascot horse-racing festival. But behind the scenes, palace insiders revealed to the Daily Beast that the sudden decision by Catherine, the Princess of Wales, to withdraw from such a high-profile event set off "a real sense of panic" and concern about a possible downturn in her health. It was just six months ago that the future queen said she was in remission from an unspecified form of cancer, which had kept her from attending Ascot and many other royal events last year. To observers, Kate seemed well enough at Trooping the Color on June 14 and Garter Day on June 16. As of noon Wednesday, according to The Telegraph, Kate was still on the "carriage list," expected to ride with Prince William. But she canceled less than an hour later. "Everyone was wandering around going, 'What is going on?'" a former courtier told the Daily Beast. "One minute she was going, and the next she wasn't. This is one of the biggest days of the year in the royal calendar; you don't just miss Ascot on a whim, so there was a real sense of panic." The former courtier, who reportedly retains good links to Kensington Palace staff, also said: "The chaotic nature of the announcement was eerily reminiscent of the dark days of last year. The "dark days of last year" is a reference to those first four months in 2024, when there was a near total black-out on news about Kate's health, following the stunning news in January 2024 that the seemingly healthy mother of three had undergone major abdominal surgery for a health condition that Kensington Palace wouldn't reveal. The palace also would only say that she would spend a lengthy and concerning two weeks in the hospital recovering from the surgery and miss out on a number of high-profile royal events for the foreseeable future. For the next few months, the palace's refusal to say anything more about Kate's "personal medical information" led to growing worldwide speculation and wild internet conspiracy theories about her well-being, with people wondering if she'd left William, had a nervous breakdown or was even dying. Finally, in March 2024, Kate announced herself, via a recorded video, that she had cancer, though she wouldn't offer information about the form of cancer or her prognosis. In September 2024, Kate announced, via another recorded video, that she had finished "preventative chemotherapy." In January, she followed up to say she was in remission. To her credit, the Daily Beast said, Kate warned the public that her plans for public appearances would be subject to change as she continues her recovery. On Wednesday, the palace appeared to follow her lead with sources saying she was "disappointed" to miss Ascot but that she was still trying to find "balance" between fulfilling royal duties and focusing on her long-term recovery. Daily Mail columnist Richard Eden reported that William appeared to be in good spirits, switching to ride in a carriage with King Charles III, Queen Camilla and Prince Saud bin Khalid al-Saud, a key member of Saudi Arabia's ruling family. A friend of the princess sought to bolster the palace message message by telling the Daily Beast: "My understanding is that Kate was basically exhausted after Trooping the Color on Saturday and Garter Day on Monday and couldn't face it. There are good days and bad days, as she herself has very candidly said." Another friend similarly told Eden: "Catherine knows she should not overdo things.
