Huge Coronation Street star quits soap and exit has already aired

One Coronation Street star's departure from the ITV soap has been confirmed after two years on the cobbles - and his final scenes have already aired on screen Coronation Street star Jack Carroll, known for his role as Bobby Crawford on the ITV soap, has left the show after two years - and fans have already seen his final scenes. The 26-year-old, who previously starred on ITV's Britain's Got Talent, joined the soap in 2023 as the nephew of Carla Connor, and the secret son of Rob Donovan. ‌ Last year, fans were left puzzled regarding the whereabouts of the character with some believing he had secretly quit the show then. ‌ He featured quite heavily in the soap earlier in the year and then suddenly disappeared with no mention of where he was. It's now been confirmed that Bobby has made his exit from the soap, although the door has been left open for a return. A source told The Mirror: "Bobby has had a dramatic couple of years on the cobbles, but the time has come to bid farewell. Actor Jack enjoyed his time on the soap, but it's time to move on. Viewers won't see the character exit the street as he's already left, with Jack filming his final scenes some time ago." "The door has been left open for Jack should he wish to come back to the show in the future. With his Aunty Carla there, Bobby will always have a place in Weatherfield." The character was last seen in the soap last month when he headed off to Spain to visit Simon Barlow. The trip came after he was accused of being Lauren Bolton's blackmailer. ‌ During his time on the cobbles, Jack's character Bobby was involved in a number of hard hitting storylines, including his shock reveal that he was killer Rob Donovan's secret son. His aunty Carla took him under her wing, but was left reeling when she found out Bobby had planned to help Rob escape after he had kidnapped her. Jack's exit follows a number of departures of young actors from the soap. Recently, Colson Smith left the soap after his character Craig Tinker was killed on the line of duty. Luca Toolan also departed the soap after his character Mason Radcliffe was stabbed and killed. Charlotte Jordan, who played Daisy Midgley also left the soap earlier this year as she left for Bali.

Major Coronation Street exit confirmed as star leaves after 2 years

Coronation Street viewers waved off Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) last month when he headed off to visit Simon Barlow – unaware that these would be his final scenes. Bobby first arrived on the cobbles in late 2023 and announced to Carla Connor (Alison King) that he was Rob Donovan's son. Carla took her nephew in and gave him a roof over his head, and supported him when he found out the true extent of Rob's crimes. However, she was left feeling betrayed when she found out that Bobby planned to help Rob escape police after he had kidnapped her, and ordered him to move out. When Bobby was later accused of being Lauren Bolton's (Cait Fitton) blackmailer, he decided to visit Simon abroad, which is where he has now chosen to stay for the foreseeable future. Metro understands that Bobby's exit from the street is a permanent one, though the door is still open for him to return in future. More Trending Jack is one of several Coronation Street actors to have left the show so far this year. Most recently, Sue Cleaver left her role as Eileen Grimshaw, with the character jetting off to Thailand following the death of sister Julie Carp. Characters Mason Radcliffe and Craig Tinker were also killed off this year, while Max Turner and Daisy Midgeley also left. All Hollyoaks spoilers for next week as killer takes a hostage

Comebacks and chaos are on the menu in Hollyoaks next week, as confirmed in my new spoilers, with two familiar faces' returns at the centre of another exciting week. The beloved Channel 4 soap has been serving hard over the past few months and that's showing no signs of changing, with another whopper on the cards. But just what are the residents of the eponymous deadly village getting up to during the week in question? What aren't they getting up to would probably be a more appropriate question! With her cancer in remission and having suffered through the loss of Freddie Roscoe (Charlie Clapham) – not to mention the comeback of nemesis Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix) – Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) needs nothing more than a quiet week right now. Unfortunately for her that's not on the cards as instead she gets told that son Bobby (Zak Sutcliffe) has escaped the secure home, prompting a mother and son reunion that she couldn't have predicted. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The walls close in on Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield), meanwhile, as the serial killer faces fresh trauma when his mother all but disowns him – and he gets blackmailed. And Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) is determined to win back her man in Tony (Nick Pickard)! But with Marie Fielding (Rita Simons) still on the scene, will she succeed? Craving more deets on all the juicy drama? Fear not, that's just for starters! Prince throws a 'screw you cancer' party in honour of Mercedes, who spoils the surprise when she walks in on the planning. Upon learning of Freddie's role in putting the party together, she tells her family to carry on with the organising. The party gets underway at Casa, with Myra delivering a heartfelt speech. Mercedes, however, is acting suspiciously and soon proceedings are halted as Donny arrives on official police business, informing Mercy that Bobby has escaped from the secure home, presumably in a social worker's car. Reeling, Mercedes plans to meet with Bobby. Jez, meanwhile, is spooked to learn of Dodger's plan to meet with Tori's social worker and thus skips out on Mercedes' party, much to the upset of John Paul. Dodger meets in the park with the social worker, who is spooked as he admits that Dennis made a confession before his death, revealing that he was being harassed by a member of the Blake clan. Dodger wonders if it could be Dilly, with Jez delighted to know that he's off the hook. Or at least that's what he thinks – as someone later slips a letter under the door, with smiling Jez left reeling as he discovers someone is blackmailing him. Elsewhere, Diane and Marie vie for Tony's affection. The two throw insults at one another, with Tony left red-faced. Mercedes finds Bobby hiding in The Dog. He apologises for everything he's done. Tony, meanwhile, is hurt to discover that Bobby has escaped and he's not alone in that respect, with Goldie arriving back in the village on a mission to ensure Bobby serves the rest of his sentence. Mercedes is of a similar mindset, urging Bobby to hand himself in so that he can do his time and secure his freedom the right way. The question is: will he listen? Elsewhere, Martha washes her hands of Jez, branding the serial killer too hard to love. Jez appears to be genuinely hurt by his mum's words. Rejected by Martha and with no-one else to confide in about his crimes, he keeps someone prisoner at the shed. More Trending But just who is it? Time is ticking for Bobby to get out of the village, with work imminently set to commence on The Dog. Donny watches Mercedes closely. Will Bobby make it out of the village?
