Guelph Police Service looking for suspect in gunpoint bank robbery

The Guelph Police Service is looking for a man who robbed a bank with a handgun earlier this month.
Police were called to a bank near Gordon Street and Clair Road on June 7 around 8:40 a.m. They were told a man with a handgun walked into the bank and stole cash. A gun was left behind when the suspect fled.
No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a 6'0' Black man in his mid to late 20s with dark skin. He was wearing a white or grey sweater, black pants, a pink silk mask and a black hat.
Anyone with more information or video of the incident is asked to contact police.

Annapolis County collision shuts down Highway 1 overnight: RCMP

RCMP posted about the crash in Cornwallis Park on social media around 1 a.m. Sunday. Police said Highway 1 was closed between Passchendaele St. and Broadway Ave. Police asked drivers to avoid the area. Shortly before 9 a.m., police said the highway had reopened.
