Boston Celtics draft prospects: Maxime Raynaud highlights
The 2025 NBA Draft is just days away. The event will take place over two days, with the first round set for Wednesday, June 25. The Boston Celtics will head into the draft armed with the 28th and 32nd picks, giving Brad Stevens two bites of the apple within the same section of the board. Stevens will have a range of draft targets available to him. A lot will depend on whether he's drafting players he believes can fight for a rotation spot, or is looking at longer-term projects who can develop with the Maine Celtics in the G League. Each route will come with its own set of prospects. Maxime Raynaud falls into the "potentially ready now" group. The 7-foot forward out of Stanford is a four-year collegiate player. He played in 35 games this past season, averaging 20.2 points, 10.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists while shooting 34.7% from deep and 46.7% from two-point range. If you're unfamiliar with Raynaud's game, NBC Sports Boston recently posted a highlight reel of his best moments from this past season to their YouTube channel. Wisconsin football lands commitment from class of 2026 in-state offensive lineman
Wisconsin football landed a commitment from class of 2026 in-state offensive lineman Aiden Dirksen on Saturday. Dirksen will join the program as a preferred walk-on. He accepted an offer that the Wisconsin coaching staff extended after his performance at the program's high school development camp last week. The 6-foot-6 interior offensive lineman is a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and plays his high school football for Bay Port. 247Sports has yet to assign him a star rating or position ranking. 'First off, I would like to Thank God for blessing me with these opportunities that he has put in front of me," Dirksen wrote on X. "I also want to thank my family for supporting me on this long journey. I want to thank Coach Steven Jorgensen and the rest of the coaching staff at Bay Port football for pushing me to my limit and preparing me for this opportunity while molding me into the player I am today. I also want to give a thank you to all of my teammates who have been a huge role in preparing me for my football journey. With that being said, I am extremely blessed to announce that I have committed to the University of Wisconsin!" Dirksen will arrive on campus with a Wisconsin recruiting class that currently ranks No. 36 in the nation with 13 scholarship players committed. One of those scholarship players is from the state of Wisconsin: three-star linebacker Ben Wenzel. The 7-foot forward is expected to be available when the Celtics are on the clock, as Brad Stevens has both the 28th and 32nd pick on draft night.
