Cardi B has made an explosive return with new song Outside. The rap sensation debuted the fiery track, her first of the year, at the Cannes Spotify Beach Party.
The new tune follows March 2024's Enough (Miami). Cardi recently explained why her new album is taking so long.

Fans of the WAP hitmaker have had a lengthy wait for the follow-up to her 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy.

And it seems there is still a way to go, as the rapper is waiting on her featured artists to deliver the goods.
During an Instagram Live in May, she said: "I really need these f****** features.

"And it's like I'm not really trying to press or go crazy on these artists because I love them down. But it's like, come on now! I need that! I need that right now! Helloooo! Y'all don't want to miss this opportunity. I'll sing this s*** myself! But I really need y'all and I need y'all to hurry up and I love y'all. I feel like nobody want to miss being on this album."
Cardi - who has collaborated with the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Bruno Mars, Lizzo and Migos in the past - revealed she has worked with artists she has teamed up with before and some new faces, too.
She went on: "I don't have a lot of features, but I'm working with artists, some that I have worked with before and some that I haven't worked with before. And the ones that I have not worked with before, I feel like it's gonna really, really surprise y'all."

She teased: "It's such a vibe. I'm 100 per cent confident with this album. I just don't think what I got is out there."

Cardi B blasts ex Offset as she reveals petty revenge plot amid Stefon Diggs romance

Cardi B appears to diss her ex Offset on her latest track Outside, with lyrics that allude to her latest romance with NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The 32-year-old rapper, who shares three children with Offset, 33 — Kulture, six, Wave, three, and Blossom, eight months, raps lyrics on her new track that seemingly allude to her romance with the veteran pass catcher, 31. 'Do you how you do me, bet you we won't speak again,' she rapped in the track. 'Favorite player from your favorite team, he in my DM.' The Girls Like You rapper - who has gone Instagram official in her romance with Diggs, now a member of the New England Patriots - rapped the lyrics 'heard them Patriots got them n*****, let me in the locker room.' Diggs has been a mainstay in the NFL for 10 seasons, playing his first five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings before playing for the Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans in the years since. The release of the track comes less than a year after the Bodak Yellow artist filed for divorce from the Migos rapper. The hip-hop mainstay, whose full name is Belcalis Almánzar, a few weeks back delved into her family's over-the-top finances and made a dig at her estranged husband Offset in a furious social media stream. In it, she said that the rapper has not pitched in a penny for the kids since their split. Cardi B added on X Spaces: 'A whole year straight, you have left me with the kids' bills. Y'all want to know what's the kids' bills? Start adding. 'My kids got their own driver — they pick them up from school, they drop them off and they take them to gymnastics and boxing classes. The kids' driver is on a retainer for $10,000 a month.' Cardi B audited the expensive tuitions she is footing the bill for, claiming Offset didn't help with any of it. 'Kulture's school this year — you didn't pay for it — that's $45,000,' said Cardi B. 'Wave's school a year is $35,000, which you didn't help me pay for it this year at all.' The hip-hop mainstay, whose full name is Belcalis Almánzar, added she pays a relative $3,000 weekly to babysit, and a nanny for their baby Blossom charges a daily fee of $500. Cardi B listed a series of ancillary charges she's eaten in the near-year since their bitter breakup. 'Kulture and Wave get tutoring four times a week. Each hour is $250. Count that up,' she said. 'Kulture's piano class, that's $300 an hour and she gets piano classes three times a week. 'I'm not sure how much is gymnastics and Wave's boxing classes, but I pay that too,' she added. The I Like It performer also was critical of Offset for seeking spousal support in the split, again itemizing expenses she's paid for without his assistance. 'Kiari, have I asked you for anything?' the Bodak Yellow vocalist said. 'You want spousal support so bad. 'And mind you, this is not even including food - my kids have a personal chef that comes from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. that I pay for because people in my house don't have time to cook.' Cardi also said that Offset has 'seen Blossom only like five times' since her birth last fall. She added, 'I been trying to save your face. I said you can see my kids in my house. I want my daughter to feel the love of her dad. He hasn't seen his kids since March.' Cardi B filed for divorce from the musical artist in July of 2024, and petitioned the court for full custody of their three kids. She and Offset initially wed in 2017 and had previously filed for divorce in 2020, but eventually called it off. Diggs earlier this month an image of himself in the uniform of his new team, the New England Patriots, amid speculation at the time his mounting controversies could cause a distraction to the team ahead of training camp, endangering his roster spot.

Susan Morrison: Now hear this – not everyone loves your music choice on the bus

Health app warning - loud music is bad for your fellow passengers! Your ear wax is either dry or runny and it's genetic. Worth remembering if you remove the foam covers on your headphones to peer into the earbuds, which I did last week. Sign up to our daily newsletter Sign up Thank you for signing up! Learn More Sorry, there seem to be some issues. Please try again later. Submitting... Seriously. So much gunk. No wonder Fleetwood Mac sounded underwater. Other people clearly knew about this. They've seen the secret horror of the earbud. It has traumatised them so much that they've abandoned headphones altogether. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad You can see and hear these victims of the yellow peril on just about every Lothian Bus. Headphones are a luxury they feel they can't afford. They must enjoy their internet fix of fast moving content unplugged, as it were. Fortunately this has the happy side effect of opening up new avenues of listening pleasure to all the other passengers. I wasn't familiar with the song 'WAP', although the word 'song' is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. The lyrics are best described as 'adult themed'. Not a sure fire hit for the family singing at Hogmanay, perhaps, but there it was, being blasted out on the Number 7 by a pair of 12-year-olds. For some, earbud phobia goes hand-in-hand with the terror of holding the phone apparatus to the actual ear. Perhaps, in a Howard Huges sort of a way, they dread possible infection from bacteria. These victims are forced to hold their phones at arms length and shout at the screen, usually during a long conversation with someone very far away. The absence of headphones means that the volume must be maintained at ear-splitting volume. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad These tragic sufferers of these hidden horrors deserve the same level of compassion we once extended to those early victims of the sound-bleeding headphone years, the sad people oblivious to the fact that the whump-whump of heavy metal was landing like a CIA interrogation technique on the folk around them. We were patient. To a point. And then we told them. We were direct, but kind. Sometimes. So now I say, kindly, come on, people, be courageous. Brave the horror of the waxy bud. Plug in and tune in. Save us all earwigging your conversations and dodgy tunes.
