FORMER Corrie star Michelle Keegan has signed a six-figure advertising deal to become the new face of Sky.
She is set to film a series of promo clips — which will be shown around the globe — with fellow British actor, Luther star Idris Elba.

The deal is Michelle's first major job since she gave birth to her daughter Palma in March.
She landed the deal after becoming a major player for Sky, with her comedy-drama Brassic one of the most popular series to air on the platform.
A source said: 'Michelle has really been enjoying maternity leave with Palma, but she'll be back to work soon to film these new adverts for Sky.
'She has signed a six-figure deal for the job and is thrilled to have been chosen to appear alongside Idris, who has been their 'face'.
'Brassic is ending after the seventh series and Michelle is keen to still be a part of the Sky brand.
'Landing this ad is huge for Michelle, as she's fast becoming a brand in her own right.
"Everything she touches seems to turn to gold.'
The actress, 38, found fame as Tina McIntyre on Coronation Street after joining the ITV soap in 2007.
But it was after she left in 2014 her career really took off, with hits such as BBC military drama Our Girl from 2016 to 2020, playing Georgie Lane.
Last year, she had the starring role as Maya Stern in Netflix's Harlan Coben thriller Fool Me Once — which racked up more than 100 million views globally.

The show became the streaming service's most watched series of 2024, beating Bridgerton and Baby Reindeer.
Michelle also stars in the BBC's Australian drama Ten Pound Poms.
The Sun revealed last year that the Manchester-born actress, who is married to Heart radio DJ and former The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright, 38, was sitting on a £3.6million fortune.
Michelle admitted leaving Coronation Street after six years had pushed her onwards to succeed with her career.
She said: 'For me, it was a massive learning platform.
"I took a long, long time to decide to leave. It was very hard.
'And then, when they told me they were killing off my character and there was no going back, I thought I would never work again.
'My security was ripped away, which made me push forward and work harder.'

His father, Robert Liddington, left when he was four-years-old, resulting in Cheryl experiencing a mental breakdown, MailOnline reports. The brothers were placed into foster care before Cheryl's second husband, Mike Mason, provided stability for the family and looked after them as if they were his own. But his life then shattered into pieces when he received a phone call from his mum saying she was never returning home. Matters were made worse, he says, after she spoke with the press. Children at his school would bring in newspapers and make fun of him after she shared tales of her unconventional romance. She swapped her home comforts to live in a mud hut in rural Kenya, where she lived off cabbage and cow's blood. The couple eventually left Kenya behind in 1995 so she could return to the Isle of Wight, and three years later, they had a daughter, Mitsi. They tied the knot on Valentine's Day, both wearing traditional Masai clothing. But when she reportedly would go missing for days, it was Stevie who was left to look after his half-sister. He remembers praying that she was still alive as he walked around the local neighbourhood for hours trying to search for her. Stevie claims that his mum's relationship with Daniel was "violent" and that he cannot forgive Cheryl for what she did, having firmly closed the door shut at any opportunity for a reconciliation, adding that she should "never have been a mother". Four years after marrying, Cheryl and Daniel split in 1999, with the mum citing that the spiritual warrior "turned into a miserable sod". She claimed her third husband changed whilst living in the UK, and became "obsessed" with wealth. And now three decades later, the mum-of-three, now 65, has opened up about her regretful past. "I made a huge mistake, it was very wrong of me, and I have a lot of regrets, especially about how it damaged my children," she told the Mail. She added: "Daniel was trying his best, but he could never understand the Western ways and couldn't be the dad that they needed." She maintains that there is "one good thing" to come of their difficult romance, which is their daughter Mitsi. It was just pure hell, with no escape. I was TOTALLY consumed by the eating disorder, addicted to it, addicted to counting calories and 'burning off' what I could. "I weighed EVERYTHING. I counted the calories in EVERYTHING. I hated what I'd become but I was petrified of giving up that addiction." ‌ She detailed her grueling journey towards recovery, stating: "After a long, and at times sooooo painfully slow, recovery I'm here, where I am now... I will always talk about eating disorders, and I'll always be honest. I don't post things like this for any praise or anything like that but to show others that you can get your life back." Clementine stated emphatically: "I will always talk about eating disorders, and I'll always be honest.
