Michelle Keegan has reportedly signed up for a major TV project, which will be her first on-screen role since giving birth to her daughter Palma in March. T he Fool Me Once star, 38, and former TOWIE star, 38, welcomed daughter Palma Elizabeth Wright on March 6, and took to social media to share their happy news earlier this year. Alongside a black and white snap of them holding their newborn's tiny hand, the couple wrote: "Together we have a new love to share … Our little girl. Palma Elizabeth Wright … 06.03.25." The former Corrie star recently celebrated her 38th birthday with Mark and Palma while enjoying the Spanish sun in Marbella. Brassic first premiered in August 2019 and will be coming to an end later this year, with no official release date being confirmed as of yet. One of Keegan's most successful roles to date came early last year when she played the leading character, Maya Stern, in the on-screen adaptation of Harlan Coben's novel, Fool Me Once. The thriller series, which dropped on Netflix on January 1 2024, was a huge success on the streaming platform. Fool Me Once was number one in 91 Netflix countries and seen by 61 million people in the first two weeks. Michelle was applauded for her outstanding performance and described the reaction to the show as "overwhelming". She was honoured with the 2024 Variety Club Silver Heart Award for outstanding achievement in global television and streaming for her role in Fool Me Once.
