Lewis Hamilton is launching an F1 Soho House pop-up at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Abu Dhabi's F1 weekend is a highlight of the city's social calendar – but this year, it's getting a major upgrade. Enter House 44, a brand-new pop-up experience by Soho House, created in partnership with none other than Lewis Hamilton and hosted inside the prestigious F1 Paddock Club.
After debuting earlier this year at the Miami Grand Prix, House 44 is now making its way around six international race locations, with its grand finale landing in Yas Marina Circuit from December 5 to 7, just in time for the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025.
So, what's House 44? Imagine a private Soho House, dropped right into the middle of the most exclusive part of a Formula 1 race weekend. It's a luxury suite dressed in signature Soho House style, with unbeatable track views, world-class hospitality, DJ sets, curated art and a mixed drink list that includes a special non-alcoholic serve made with Hamilton's own Almave blue agave drink. It's also a place where F1's elite – including Hamilton himself – just might pop in for a drink and a chat.
The name House 44 is a nod to Hamilton's racing number – a number he's had since his karting days and one that's come to represent one of the most decorated careers in motorsport history.
As a longtime Soho House member, Hamilton's fingerprints are all over the suite, from the design and drinks menu to the curated showcase of memorabilia and Plus 44 fashion pieces from both current and archive collections.
But House 44 isn't just a viewing lounge. Guests will also be able to sign up for behind-the-scenes access experiences across the weekend, including pit lane walks, guided tours of the Paddock and even open-top track rides with expert commentary.
There's also the chance to watch the post-race podium celebrations from up close – one of the most coveted spots at any Grand Prix.
Expect a high-energy off-track atmosphere too, with live DJs, acoustic sets, a bespoke food menu blending local flavours with global inspiration and a specially curated art collection by Hamilton himself. Think of it as a race-weekend house party, with a touch more horsepower.
Hospitality packages for House 44 Abu Dhabi start from Dhs45,577 and include three-day suite access, trackside experiences (subject to availability), full food and drinks and access to all the House 44 exclusives. Experiences like the pit lane walk and Paddock tours are available to book at reception on arrival and are first-come, first-served – so don't sleep on it.
In addition to Abu Dhabi, House 44 is popping up at Silverstone, Zandvoort, Monza, Mexico City and Las Vegas – but this is your last chance to catch it for the 2025 season.
Tickets must be booked through the official link and not via the Soho House app. Details on race-day transport will be shared by email after booking.
So, if you've ever wondered what it's like to spend a Grand Prix weekend in the fast lane – and in signature Soho House style – House 44 in Abu Dhabi is your golden ticket.

Marketing global events to audiences in the Middle East

Global live entertainment was no longer testing the waters in the Middle East. With major international live events coming to markets like the UAE and Saudi Arabia, regional audiences are showing up and selling out arenas and stadiums across the Middle East. This month, Proactive Entertainment has brought the internationally renowned musical Mamma Mia! to Abu Dhabi in the UAE. Taking over Etihad Arena on Yas Island from June 11 to 22, the event has hosted thousands of theatre fans. Jose Cuervo, Middle East Regional Director at Proactive Entertainment speaks to Campaign Middle East on how it shaped its marketing strategies to draw in audiences to the show. 'We run campaigns in parallel,' he explains, stating that strategies differ on the optimal target audience for each live event. 'For Mamma Mia!, our key target audiences are women in their late 20s to, high 40s. We have understood that for this demographic in particular, the best way to actually convert is digitally through Meta, Google and through out-of-home (OOH),' he says. 'We have a very strong outdoor strategy which goes not only through Abu Dhabi but also in Dubai,' he continues, 'from branding on taxis, billboards on streets, and screens in different places around the country.' 'That has allowed us to have a very omnipresent campaign throughout the show's run,' he adds. But demographics alone don't sell tickets. Consumer insight is the compass. 'We're constantly surveying audiences, not just in the UAE, but across the Middle East,' Cuervo says. Even though he admits that shows like Hamilton may take years to migrate from New York to Yas Island, 'when they do, the demand is rarely in question,' he says. He further explains that Proactiv also keeps a close watch on repeat viewership and bases its strategy on how soon a show can return to a market and still sell out. In terms of converting awareness into ROI in ticket sales, Cuervo says 'YouTube ads has been very big for us,' as they 'allow for the show to be present at all times, even when you're far from the season itself.' He also says that 'Instagram and search are always at the top,' of the event company's conversion rate. Finally, securing the right partners adds to the strength of marketing global events to audiences in the Middle East. 'Platinumlist has been in the region for years and they've grown a very strong database which allows us to speak directly not only to their entire database but segments that are more relevant to us when it comes to musicals,' Cuervo says. 'Our government partners, Miral and DCT Abu Dhabi have also been instrumental in driving this theatre strategy and turning Abu Dhabi into the theatre capital of the Middle East,' he adds. 'That's why we have been so successful – because it's the collective effort of several stakeholders,' he concludes.

Catch these 5 massive movies in Dubai this summer

If heading to the mall is on the top of your 'Ways to escape summer' plans, why not add in a movie to your shopping experience? Over the next few months, there are a number of top movies being released, giving you the perfect excuse to sit back, relax, and enjoy some entertainment in the cool AC. Here are 5 movies you don't want to miss this summer in Dubai F1 Release date: June 26 Formula 1 fans, time to take your place on the grid as F1 finally roars into theatres on June 26. The movie which took four years to produce, is directed by Joseph Kosinski, known for his work on Top Gun: Maverick . It stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris and even the current Formula 1 drivers, including Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, Fernando Alonso and Pierre Gasly. The movie follows Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a promising driver who had an accident that nearly ended his career. 30 years later, the owner of a struggling Formula 1 team convinces him to return to racing and become 'the best in the world.' Driving alongside the team's hotshot, Sonny learns the road to redemption is not an easy task, and not one to travel alone. Will Formula 1 fans give this movie the champagne celebration it deserves, or will it be a 'DNF'? We will have to wait and see. Keep your eyes peeled as some of the scenes were shot in our very own Abu Dhabi. PS. Our review of the movie will be out shortly after its release, so stay tuned. Get your tickets here. Jurassic World Rebirth Release date: July 3 For fans of the franchise…our terrifying, scaly friends are back on the big screen this July. Now in its seventh installment, the roaring action of Jurassic Park Rebirth takes place several years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion . We will join a team of scientists heading to a remote island on a mission to secure some genetic material that could possibly be a medical breakthrough that could save thousands of lives. If you thought the dinosaurs from past editions were scary, well… you'd be wrong. The ones on this island were deemed too dangerous for the original park, and we are about to meet them…and something a lot more disturbing. The movie stars Scarlett Johanson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey and Rupert Friend. Get your tickets here. Superman Release date: July 10 If you're out of touch with this iconic DC Comics character, thankfully you don't need to start from scratch, as director James Gunn has designed it to be a fresh starting point for new viewers. We bid a teary farewell to Henry Cavill and welcome David Corenswet who soared into action, taking over the blue and red suit. The plot, however (and as with most superhero movies), is hard to pinpoint. What we do know is Clark Kent is working as a reporter at the Daily Planet newspaper with Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan), and he is trying to live a normal life, or at least a balanced one. But are things really that simple? He faces trouble when Lex Luthor – a smart and powerful enemy – comes in his way. While we're obviously used to seeing Superman dominate in the 'good versus evil' theme, this movie showcases a Superman that is driven by compassion with an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind. Get your tickets here. The Naked Gun Release date: July 15 Remember protagonist Detective Sergeant Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen)? How could you forget him? The bumbling police lieutenant – without a doubt – bought the giggles with his performance in The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad as he somehow managed to save the day without even realising it. And now… 27 years later, we are being gifted a reboot. Meet Frank Drebin Jr (Liam Neeson), the son of Frank Drebin. He too, is a bumbling cop. What can we say… like father, like son. Drebin Junior's quirky police department is in danger of being shut down unless he can crack a major case. He teams up with Beth (played by the one and only Pamela Anderson) to solve her brother's murder… but not without stumbling through it all. Expect the classic gags, nods to the original movie, and modern twists. It's pure, chaotic, old-school comedy. The Loudest Roar returns for its third year

Now in its third year, The Loudest Roar has reopened for 2025, offering emerging creatives the opportunity to engage with the Cannes Lions awards process by predicting this year's Grand Prix winners. Developed in the region, the platform focuses on three key categories – Titanium, Innovation, and Glass: The Lion – known for recognising ideas that challenge convention and redefine the role of creativity in society and business. Participants can watch shortlisted case studies, submit their Grand Prix predictions, and see how their judgment compares once the official winners are announced. Voting has now closed for the Innovation category, but entries for Titanium and Glass remain open via While the top-scoring participant receives a prize, the broader aim is to create a learning environment that encourages critical thinking around award-winning creative work. The platform also features a growing resource library, with over an hour of insights from 20+ Cannes Lions veterans offering guidance on how experienced jurors evaluate campaigns. Some of the most referenced cues include: 'Will the work still inspire at 8am and at 11pm?' – Oliver Apers, ECD, BETC Paris 'Look for innovative ideas that are iterated over time.' – Tracey Follows, CEO, FutureMade 'Be subjective, but ready to change your mind.' – Mihnea Gheorghiu, Global CCO, LePub To date, The Loudest Roar has attracted over 500 participants from 77 countries, with an average Grand Prix prediction match of less than 20 per cent. This gap between jury outcomes and emerging creative instincts has sparked conversations about evolving standards of impact and originality. In 2024, the platform introduced its first Jury Room Simulation in Dubai, moderated by former Cannes juror Jennifer Fischer. Students from UAE-based universities took part in the exercise, collaboratively discussing shortlists and learning what it's like to assess and defend work in a jury-style format. 'The dream is to make it the go-to platform for predicting and discussing Cannes Lions, like a fantasy league for our industry and hopefully the wider public, one day,' Chirag Khushalani, Ideator of The Loudest Roar. Participants can sign-up and predict on the platform's website:
