Sheamus is one of
's most experienced and hard-hitting Superstars. He has been part of many big matches and has won almost every title. But this year, something unexpected happened, he did not wrestle at
41.

That was a big deal for him, and now he is speaking out about how much it hurt to be left off the biggest WWE show of the year.
The Celtic Warrior returned to WWE TV after WrestleMania, but before that, fans had not seen him since the Royal Rumble. He did wrestle at a couple of live shows in March, but he was not part of the WrestleMania card at all. It was not due to an injury, WWE just did not book him.
Sheamus really wanted that WrestleMania moment
Even though
has wrestled in many WrestleManias before, he still wants to be part of every single one.
For him, it is not just another show, it is his passion. Missing WrestleMania 41 really affected him.
Sheamus recently spoke to
and said he was very upset about it.
"I was gutted that I wasn't at Mania. The last appearance that I had was at the Rumble. I want to be in the mix. I want to be there. I'm more passionate now about my job than I ever have been."
He also shared how much he still loves wrestling and being in front of fans.
"I love what I do.
I love going out there in front of a crowd. I love putting on banger after banger. I love that intensity. I love setting the bar so high that everybody including the main event guys who have months and months to prepare are trying to catch up with me. Until the wheels come off and I can't do it anymore I want to go out there. I don't want to miss anything and I don't want to miss a WrestleMania. It was tough. I'm not going to lie, it was really really hard.

The Intercontinental Title is still his goal
There is one big goal Sheamus has left in
, winning the Intercontinental Championship. It is the only title he has not won, and he has made it clear that he wants to complete that dream. He even pitched an idea to be part of the Intercontinental Title match at WrestleMania 41. Sadly, it did not happen.
"I had pitched to hopefully get in the Intercontinental title stuff again. They're probably tired about me talking about it but that's the one title that I have left to become the first ever ultimate Grand Slam Champion in WWE.
That's the Holy Grail, that's it."
"But I wasn't happy sitting at home. I don't want to miss WrestleMania. I don't want to go there and not be part of the biggest show of the year. It's tough for me. I don't care, if you have passion for what you do, you don't want to miss that."
Sheamus' greatest moments: WWE Top 25, June 27, 2024
Sheamus may have missed WrestleMania this year, but his fire has not faded. He is back, focused, and still chasing the one prize that has escaped him. Fans hope WWE gives him the trial he has worked so hard for.
