
Chatham man charged in child sexual exploitation investigation: CKPS

A Chatham man has been charged in connection to a child sexual exploitation investigation across Ontario.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service partook in the investigation, dubbed 'Project Support', alongside several police forces, including the Windsor police.
A total of 36 people across the province were charged with a total of 128 criminal charges.
Locally, a 38-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested after allegedly trying to meet a child in person. He is facing two counts of luring a person under 16, making child pornography, and making sexually explicit material available to a child.
No other locals were charged as part of the project, according to the project's addendum.

Two youths charged after damaging St. Thomas church
Two male youths were arrested and charged Saturday night, after vandalizing a local church. A church at the south end of St. Thomas was damaged Saturday night, after the suspects threw rocks at the building and damaged glass windows, doors and other church property. Toronto police say they responded to Jane Street and Gordon MacKay Road just after midnight for reports of a motorcycle that had struck a pole.
