"He's earned the right to be called a wrestler," Carlito said. "He can actually get in there and do some damage. I like when they come in and they actually take it seriously and then do great things, WWE is on a good streak of people to come in [when] they're not just there to be a celebrity of just get their face on WWE TV.
"They actually put the work in and they've done great work. I don't really get starstruck, I don't care enough. I'm the worst fan ever. I'm not going to stand in line for anybody or chase them around for a picture, that's just not me."

Paul has certainly built up an impressive pedigree over his time in WWE. After appearing in multiple feuds with the likes of Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, Ricochet, Seth "Freakin" Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton.
In 2023, Paul surprised everyone when he beat Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship, going on to hold the title for 273 days before dropping it to LA Knight at SummerSlam 2024.
During this time, Paul would also challenge Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes separately for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
