It will take place from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at the 3015 Cedar Glade Drive library. The Naperville stop is part of a larger effort that spans 15 donation centers and three community blood drives. The goal is to prevent a summer blood shortage, which is a common challenge when school breaks and vacations reduce donor turnout, a news release said. The Naperville drive recognizes Caleb Koenig, an 8-year-old from Plainfield whose life was saved by blood donors, the release said. Due to a rare genetic condition that put him at serious risk for bleeding complications, Caleb could not produce enough platelets on his own. In his first year, he required monthly transfusions, the release said. Blood donors will receive a Vitalant T-shirt, while supplies last. All donors in June will receive a $10 Rewards gift card and be entered in a drawing for one of two $10,000 gift cards. To schedule an appointment, go to

Damien Priest is not about to miss his "home games" for any reason this summer

Damien Priest (Image via) Damien Priest has been quietly making his place in the WWE from the very beginning, and his tenure with the SmackDown brand only shows how much he has grown over the years. He was last seen at the Saturday Night's Main Event on May 24, where he faced off against Drew McIntyre in a rematch contested in a Steel Cage match. Priest won the match by escaping the cage, ending his feud with the latter. McIntyre has since taken some time off to heal and recover from multiple injuries that he suffered. And looks like it could be the same for Priest. Is Damien Priest planning to take some time off the ring? Rumors are afloat that Damien Priest could be taking some time off from wrestling this summer, which could possibly mean that he would miss out on SummerSlam. After Liv Morgan 's unexpected injury, she will need time to recuperate, and many think Priest could be joining her on the same. But the wrestling star has shut off that idea totally, saying there is no way he will miss his "home games." Fightful Select had previously reported that Priest is pretty "banged up" after facing off against McIntyre, but the Archer of Infamy seems eager to come back to the ring during the SummerSlam event, which will happen over two nights in New Jersey. And given that Priest himself is from New York, it's easy to understand why he would count this event to be "home games." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 남재현 원장, 복부둘레 반토막 내는 "이것".. 똥뱃살 빼고 싶다면? 남재현 체지방 다이어트 더 알아보기 Undo Sources inside WWE are also very happy with his dedication, and "noted that working through Summerslam seemed to be important to him as it's a 'home game' for him." Drew McIntyre is on a long hiatus from the ring, but his opponent is not taking off for now, and we will see him at the SummerSlam event, set to take place over the weekend of August 2 and August 3, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Rapper Cardi B will be hosting the event, and it will be two nights of extra fun and chaos in WWE. Netflix viewers sobbing as WWE match gets stopped due to 'freak' injury

A major WWE champion was forced out of action on Monday Night Raw after suffering a nasty and legitimate injury. During last night's show, Women's Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan was set to face Kairi Sane in singles action, but the match was scrapped just minutes in. The 31-year-old superstar took an awkward landing after a few moments and screamed in pain as she held her arm, and referee Jessika Carr was soon forced to end the bout. As reported by PWInsider, Liv – who has been heavily involved in storylines including her partnership with 'Dirty' Dominik Mysterio – suffered a dislocated shoulder and she was immediately assessed by WWE's medical team after being taken backstage. The outlet noted that the company was still waiting to determine the severity of the wrestler's injury, which in turn will impact how long she will be on the sidelines. It was noted that if the dislocation is severe, Liv could miss at least 16 weeks before being cleared, but it's not yet clear what the prognosis is. 'We are told it was being seen as a freak occurrence and there is no heat on anyone,' the outlet added. Fans have been left devastated by the injury and its timing, which comes one week after Liv started a rivalry with Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. The pair appeared to be heading towards a match at WWE's all-women's premium live event Evolution next month, potentially as part of a tag match involving Raquel Rodriguez and Brie Bella. However, there are concerns Liv won't be able to perform at the show on on July 13. Hoping it's nothing serious❤️,' said @Morgan43liv4dom. 'No no no no no no no I'm sick I feel sick no (sic)' And @KyleWrestling pointed out: 'Sucks a lot that Liv was injured. She's someone who has grown a lot over the past few years. 'It looked like she was gearing up for a match with Nikki Bella, a match for Iyo's title, & a match against Iyo & Kairi for the tag belts. A major setback for the whole division.' Liv has suffered setbacks before, and in June 2023 she opened up about the mental toll a six-week injury spell took on her at the time. More Trending 'We're on the road 365, there's no off season, there's no sport like WWE – it never stops,' she told Metro at the time. 'So, to go from that schedule to being at home for six weeks, at first it was rough on my mental [health]. I feel like, first of all, I couldn't do all that I know! The group, once a dominant force in the women's division, came to an unceremonious end due to releases and injuries. The news comes from a recent Fightful Select report. It stated that an internal decision was made to end the faction in early May 2025. The Rise Of Damage CTRL Damage CTRL made its memorable debut at SummerSlam in 2022. Bayley returned from a year-long injury, bringing Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky to the main roster with her. The trio immediately established themselves as top heels in the women's division. Kai and Sky went on to have two reigns as the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. In late 2023, the group expanded by adding former champions Asuka and Kairi Sane. They also captured the Women's Tag Team Titles, continuing the faction's legacy of success. WWE/Getty Images The Road To Disbandment The group began to fracture in early 2024 after Bayley won the Women's Royal Rumble match. She was kicked out of the group, leading to a babyface turn and her victory over Iyo Sky for the WWE Women's Title at WrestleMania 40. After Bayley's departure, the remaining members were separated by circumstances. Dakota Kai was released from her WWE contract in May 2025, while both Asuka and Kairi Sane spent time away with injuries. More news: WWE News: Steve Austin Reveals Real-Life Vince McMahon Confrontation WWE Internally Ends The Faction The Fightful Select report notes that after Kai's release, WWE made the internal decision to end the group. The remaining members were no longer introduced as "representing Damage CTRL" at live events. Asuka is scheduled to return to the ring on the June 16 episode of Raw. However, the report states that the Damage CTRL name is not expected to be part of her return. While the members could team up again one day, the faction is officially considered to be done for now. The faction had a memorable impact on the fans and is clearly are remembered in a positive light. With Asuka returning, it will be interesting to see what kind of role she plays going forward on TV as WWE could make her a new gatekeeper for up-and-coming talent.
