Dinesh Karthik Gave Virat Kohli An Advice In the IPL 2025 Final, He Got Out In The Very Next Over
Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally clinched their maiden IPL title in 2025, with Virat Kohli top-scoring in the final. However, post-match attention shifted to mentor Dinesh Karthik after ex-England captains Atherton and Hussain hilariously roasted him on a podcast. They teased Karthik for giving Kohli a 'five-minute lecture' before his dismissal. Though caught off guard, Karthik laughed it off. Despite the fun, his role in RCB's success remains widely appreciated. and subscribe to our channel and never miss a beat.Subscribe to CricketNext YouTube channel to never miss a video: www.youtube.com/@news18.cricketnextFollow CricketNext on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cricketnextFollow CricketNext on Twitter: https://twitter.com/cricketnextFollow CricketNext on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cricketnextofficial/CricketNext : https://www.news18.com/cricketnext/Virat Kohli , Dinesh Karthik , IPL 2025 Final , RCB vs PBKS , Royal Challengers Bengaluru , Punjab Kings , Michael Atherton , Nasser Hussain , Sky Sports Podcast , Kohli Karthik Moment , IPL Final Drama , Kohli Dismissal , RCB Coach , RCB Champion , IPL Funny Moments , Cricket Banter , Cricket Podcast , Dinesh Karthik Coaching , Kohli RCB , IPL Trophy , IPL Memes , Cricket Humor , Kohli Out After Timeout , Kohli DK , IPL Final Highlight , RCB First Trophy , IPL Strategic Timeout , Indian Premier League , IPL Viral Clip , Cricket Fans , IPL News , RCB IPL 2025 Win

Jasprit Bumrah's explosive rant against critics: They said I'd last only 6 months
Jasprit Bumrah launched an explosive rant against his critics, saying that they have constantly written him off at many moments. Bumrah's workload management has been a topic of discussion ahead of the series, with the pacer himself admitting that he won't play all five matches in the series. Bumrah's critics have questioned his ability to consistently play for the national side, and he silenced them with his 14th career five-wicket haul during day three of the first Test against England. The pacer's bowling performance helped India take a lead of 6 runs at the end as the visitors ended the day on 90 for 2 in the second innings. advertisementSpeaking at the press conference, Bumrah said that what people write about him isn't in his control and sometimes his name gets mentioned to ensure clicks come in. "Look, what people write is not in my control, and I'm not trying to teach anyone or tell them, 'Don't write this about me, write that instead.' Everybody is free to write whatever they want. Obviously, I understand that in our country, cricket is very popular. And sometimes, to make a headline, if my name gets mentioned, the viewership increases—so I do understand that. But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter to me. Because if those things start getting into my head, I'll start believing them," said Bumrah. Bumrah said that he wants to back his own beliefs and not listen to what others want him to do or play in a certain way. The Indian pacer said that his critics have constantly written him off by saying his career would come to an end in a few months. advertisement"What matters to me is who I am and what I believe in—that should dictate how I go about things. If someone else wants me to play in a certain way, I'm not that kind of person. My preparation, my ideas—they've always been rooted in my desire to play for India.""I've played cricket based on my own beliefs. I've reached every format on the back of those beliefs. Because people didn't just say no to me once—at first, they said I wouldn't be able to play, then they said I'd last only six months, then eight months. But playing and playing, I'm now close to completing ten years in international cricket. It's been twelve or thirteen years that I've played in the IPL."'I'll keep playing for as long as God has written it for me'Bumrah claimed that people still say that he will retire soon, and his mantra is to keep doing his work and play as long as it is possible for him. "Even now, people say the same things—'Now he'll go, now he'll retire.' Let them keep waiting. I'm not thinking about all that. I'll keep doing my work. Every three or four months, people say, 'Now he'll go, now he'll go.' Let's see."advertisement"I'll keep playing for as long as God has written it for me. I prepare my best, and after that, I leave it up to God. With all the blessings He has given me, I try to carry them forward. I try to take Indian cricket forward too," said Bumrah. Bumrah's stunning performance on Day 3 also saw him go level with Kapil Dev for most number five-wicket hauls outside India and became the first Asian bowler to get 150 wickets in SENA countries. 'It won't be easy': Sourav Ganguly lays out path for Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to play in 2027 ODI World Cup
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's Test retirements have sparked debate over their 2027 ODI World Cup hopes. Former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly believes it won't be easy for the legends and outlined what they must do to stay in contention. read more Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma shocked the world recently by announcing their retirements from Test cricket. They had already stepped down from T20 cricket last year after winning the 2024 T20 World Cup. Their recent decisions to retire from red-ball cricket have raised a big question around their availability to play in the 2027 ODI World Cup. Both Kohli and Rohit are modern-day legends, and fans would love to see them lift the ODI World Cup trophy before they say goodbye to international cricket. The 2027 Cricket World Cup is still more than two years away and by then, Kohli will be 39 and Rohit will turn 40. There are concerns regarding their fitness and match-readiness at that age. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD However, since they won't be playing Tests and T20s anymore, some believe that they can now fully focus on ODIs and prepare themselves just for the 50-over format. That could actually work in their favour, as they will have fewer matches to worry about and can manage their bodies better. Ganguly on Kohli-Rohit's ODI future But former India captain and ex-BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has a different view. Ganguly believes that if Kohli and Rohit are serious about playing the 2027 ODI World Cup, they will have to stay active in the format for the next two years. 'It won't be easy. 15 games a year. I've got no advice. I think they know the game as much as I do. And they will take a call. But all of us must understand that just like everyone, the game will go away from them and they will go away from the game,' Ganguly told PTI in an interview. India have at least 27 ODI matches scheduled between now and the next World Cup. Ganguly feels that Kohli and Rohit must stay committed to playing most, if not all, of these matches if they really want to be part of the World Cup squad. Both Rohit and Kohli have already had legendary careers. They recently won the ICC Champions Trophy and the T20 World Cup. They qualified for the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup without losing a single game, but lost to Australia in the summit clash. Note, Rohit is still the captain of the Indian ODI team.
