Nina and Summer in Corrie witness horror incident that stuns them to silence

A midsummer party turns into a drug-fuelled nightmare for some of Coronation Street's usually more well-behaved residents in upcoming episodes – and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) are involved in a horrific incident.
The party is at the home of the Alahans, where Aadi (Adam Hussain) has lately been bemoaning the fact that his life is a bit dull. To spice up his life he decides to throw a party, and Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) suggests a midsummer theme, because of it being midsummer and she loves a bit of a pagan vibe.
Summer and Nina opt for some floral headwear as a nod to the occasion, while Brody (Ryan Mulvey) decides that nothing is more likely to get the party started and his bank balance boosted than supplying a few illegal drugs to the party-goers.
Aadi spots him trying to sell LSD and throws him out, though Brody doesn't leave without a fight. It's not his first run-in with Aadi, after all.
Once he's gone, Aadi, Summer and Nina prepare to sample the drugs, although Aadi is distracted by a commotion and his share ends up being taken by someone else – with shocking results.
Later, feeling the effects of the LSD, Nina and Summer leave the party and head towards the cafe. Nina lets them into the darkened establishment – and it's there that things take a sinister turn. As they're freaked out by the sound of sirens in the street they cling to each other in terror as a terrifying scene unfolds.
The next day they're shell-shocked and try to make sense of what happened the night before. Retracing their steps, they try to piece together what happened.

Nina, however, is so troubled by what happened that she talks to her uncle Roy Cropper (David Neilson), telling him that she took hallucinogenic drugs at the party.
She says her memories of what happened don't entirely make sense to her, but Roy urges her to tell the police what she remembers, as it's clear that something very troubling happened that evening.

In upcoming episodes, Sarah is scheduled to undergo surgery for her cancer. But things take an unexpected turn when a surgeon informs her grandmother Charity (Emma Atkins) that the operation didn't go as planned. Now, fans are convinced that Sarah will opt for surrogacy, and they think they've deduced who will carry her baby - a returning soap legend. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one individual speculated: "I have a feeling Sarah will be unable to have a baby. Her carrying a baby was already incredibly risky so I think there's going to be a surrogacy person concurred: "I thought that too. " A third fan suggested Sarah's mum Debbie as a potential surrogate for Sarah's child." I did think of Charity as the surrogate but maybe Debbie could do it?" they pondered. Netflix star killed in horror hit-and-run as police hunt driver

Police are hunting the driver who left Million Dollar Beach House star Sara Burack for dead. A former star of Netflix's Million Dollar Beach House has tragically died after being struck in a hit-and-run in New York. Sara Burack, 40, was hit by a vehicle in the early hours of Thursday morning in Hampton Bays. The driver fled the scene and, as of Thursday night, has yet to be traced. A police investigation remains ongoing. ‌ Sara's body was found just before 3am on Montauk Highway, near the Villa Paul Restaurant. A 911 caller reported seeing a woman lying in the road. Emergency crews rushed to the scene and found her unconscious, with injuries consistent with being hit by a car. She was taken to hospital but died later that day, reports the Mirror. ‌ Sara made her name in the luxury property world as an agent for Nest Seekers International — the high-end firm featured in the Netflix reality show following brokers selling multi-million-dollar beach homes in the Hamptons. Although she left the firm over a year ago, colleagues said she remained close to many in the industry. Geoff Gifkins, Hamptons regional manager for Nest Seekers, said: 'Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. This is a tremendous loss.' Friend and fellow agent Paulette Corsair paid tribute to Sara's kindness and dedication. 'She was an amazing person who really cared for people,' she said. Alan Cumming to receive honorary degree from University of St Andrews

More than 2200 students will gather at the University of St Andrews from June 30 for summer graduation ceremonies. Graduates from 88 different countries, including Canada, Australia and Nepal will receive their awards in the Younger Hall from June 30 to July 4. READ MORE: Scottish Government removes WhatsApp from all official devices The graduation ceremony season will include nine 'distinguished individuals' honoured for their contributions to sport, politics, science, medicine and the arts. Marvel actor and The Traitors US presenter Alan Cumming will receive an honorary degree on Thursday July 3, while BBC security correspondent Frank Gardner will be presented with one on Friday July 4. Sustainability campaigner Sara Parkin and US golfer Judy Rankin will also receive the accolade during the week. Also recognised will be Russian-American scientist Eugene Koonin and political theorist and feminist writer Professor Cynthia Enloe. There is one ceremony on June 30 at 2pm, while the other ceremonies will occur twice in one day.
