Baldanzi discusses Roma's turnaround in season's second half
Roma attacker Tommaso Baldanzi spoke to DAZN about the team's turnaround in the second half of the season and ahead of the final nine matchdays of Serie A.
'Honestly, I don't know what changed, but something happened,' he said after Roma's win over Cagliari.
'In my opinion, we are an extraordinary group and precisely because in the first part of the season we faced difficult moments, we don't want to go back to that and we want to always do better.'
'We know we can't leave anything behind, we want to get three points every Sunday. We are a strong group.'
'On a personal level, I feel the coach's trust a lot, I went through a moment where I played a little less but I always tried to work for these chances.'
He added, 'We are doing well and we have to continue like this.'

Inter Milan Could Cash In – Lazio To Target Italy U21 Star If They Can Offload Two Midfielders
Inter Milan Could Cash In – Lazio To Target Italy U21 Star If They Can Offload Two Midfielders Inter Milan could cash in, as Lazio will go after midfielder Giovanni Fabbian if they're able to offload Danilo Cataldi and Toma Basic. This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInter1908. Advertisement Giovanni Fabbian has come to the end of his second season at Bologna. The Italy Under-21 international joined the Rossoblu from Inter in the summer of 2023. And the Nerazzurri did not just loan him to the Emilian club – they sold him outright. However, as part of the deal, there is a buyback option in favour of Inter. And that clause becomes active this summer. Inter can sign Fabbian back for a fee of €12 million starting at the end of next month. Advertisement And according to Sky Sport Italia, the 22-year-old is a target for Lazio. The Biancocelesti are looking to revamp their midfield for the returning Maurizio Sarri. However, Sky report, Lazio will have to get rid of a couple midfielders before they can sign anyone new in the positions. Firstly, Danilo Cataldi is back following the end of his loan at Fiorentina. And secondly, Sky note, there is also midfielder Toma Basic – despite being on the fringes, the Croat is still on their books.

Inter Milan vs. Urawa Red Diamonds odds, predictions: FIFA Club World Cup picks, best bets Saturday

We should get a pretty good idea of how seriously Inter Milan is taking the FIFA Club World Cup on Saturday. The Italians were not at their best in a 1-1 draw against Monterrey in their opening match, adding to concerns that Inter would have a tough time getting up for this tournament after a grueling season that saw them finish as runners-up in both Serie A and the Champions League. Inter had a two-week break before heading to North America for the Club World Cup after falling just short of a historic season, so it's not a shock they were stodgy in their tilt with Monterrey. Inter fell behind by one goal early, but clawed back into the match and secured a 1-1 draw. Saturday's match with Urawa Red Diamonds should be a walk in the park for La Beneamata on paper, but if Inter are disinterested, the Japanese side are a threat to pull off a stunner at Lumen Field in Seattle. Urawa were also uninspiring in their opening match, a 3-1 loss to River Plate, and they'll likely need to pull the upset to have any chance of moving on in this tournament. The Red Diamonds were the only team in Group E that didn't get a point, and they'll be underdogs again in their final match of Round 1 against Monterrey. Yann Sommer of Inter Milan during a break in play at the FIFA Club World Cup. IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters It's a massive ask, but Urawa have to go for this win. That should lead to a more aggressive approach from the Japanese side, which should leave them vulnerable to Inter's counterattack. Get the lowdown on the Best USA Sports Betting Sites and Apps And given how they defended against River Plate, that could lead to disaster. If Inter brings anything close to their A-game, they should be able to get us to this Over on their own.
