When does the movie come out?
The Universal film is set to arrive in theaters just in time for Valentine's Day on Feb. 13.
Who is in the cast of the movie?
Maika Monroe was the first actress cast in the film as Deadline exclusively reported. She will star, and she was joined by costar Tyriq Withers a few weeks later, also exclusively reported by Deadline.
Next came Outer Banks star Rudy Pankow, whose role has not been specified, followed by Gilmore Girls alumna Lauren Graham, first reported by Deadline. Graham will appear as Grace Landry, mother of Kenna's late boyfriend, Scotty.
The most recent addition to the film's cast was Nicholas Duvernay, fresh off his turn in The White Lotus Season 3 as Belinda Lindsay's son Zion. Duvernay will play Roman, a bartender at Ward's Bar, the owner of which was Kenna's late boyfriend's best friend.
Who else is behind the movie?
Vanessa Caswill (Love at First Sight) will direct the film from the screenplay cowritten by author Colleen Hoover and Lauren Levine (Bridge to Terabithia, Confess). The pair will produce the film through their Heartbones Entertainment banner.

What is about? Is the movie based on a book?
Reminders of Him is a movie about motherhood, forgiveness and the power of one love to heal even the most shattered heart.
First published in 2022, Reminders of Him has sold more than 6 million copies in the United States and is a best seller around the world.
The novel centers Kenna Rowan, a mother who reunites with her four-year-old daughter after release from five years in prison. Bridges Kenna burned are difficult to rebuild upon her return to town, with everyone around Kenna's daughter determined to cut her off from her daughter.
Local bar owner Ledger Ward is the only person who takes a chance on her, and he provides a link to Kenna's daughter. The two form a connection despite the tension around them, but as their romance grows, so does the pressure. Kenna must find a way to forgiveness for her past actions in order to move forward with a healed future.

Universal's live-action How to Train Your Dragon will have no trouble staying No. 1 in its second weekend with an estimated $35.7 million despite the entry of the zombie sequel 28 Years Later and the animated Elio — which is headed for the lowest opening in the history of Pixar amid a crowded marketplace for family fare. A few weeks ago, 28 Years Later was tracking to open to $35 million, with more bullish pundits thinking it could come in north of $40 million. Instead, it's headed for a solid $30 million to $31 million domestic start. Similar to the family space, some are speculating that the horror marketplace may be over-saturated, led by the box office hit Final Destination: Bloodlines. 28 Years Later will still mark the biggest opening of Boyle's career and reunites the filmmaker with writer Alex Garland 25 years after 28 Days hit the big screen and became a cult classic. Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack O'Connell, Alfie Williams and Ralph Fiennes star in what's the first installment in a planned trilogy. Reviewers have widely embraced the R-rated title, but actual moviegoers are somewhat less enthusiastic; its current audience score on Rotten Tomatoes is 67 percent, compared to a 90 percent critics' score. At the same time, it's garnering decent exit scores from leading exit-polling service PostTrak. And it earned a B CinemaScore, which is like an A grade when it comes to horror fare. Facing fierce competition from How to Train Your Dragon and fellow Disney release Lilo & Stitch, Elio took in $9 million on Friday for a projected third-place domestic opening in the $20 million to $22 million range. Elio — an original film about a young boy whose wish to travel to outer space and interact with aliens comes true — was expected to open to at least $30 million domestically. But with interest stalling in recent days, Disney insiders lowered their projections to $20 million to $25 million as Pixar braced for the worst 3-day opening in its history behind Elemental ($29.6 million) in June 2023 and its very first film, 1995's Toy Story ($29.1 million), not adjusted for inflation. Toy Story opened over Thanksgiving and amassed $39 million over the long five-day holiday weekend. In 2023, Elemental's opening was called nothing short of a debacle, yet it turned into a sleeper hit on its way to earning nearly $500 million globally. Pixar and parent company Disney, are confident that Elio will have the same sort of staying power throughout the summer when kids are sprung from school. So far, Elio is graced with a better critics score on Rotten Tomatoes than Elemental, as well as glowing PostTrak exit results and an A CinemaScore, including an A+ from kids. Pixar has been struggling to find its footing in a world where original animated stories don't open to the heights they once did — think north of $70 million — in the post-pandemic world. And during the pandemic years, then-Disney CEO Bob Chapek decided to send three Pixar titles straight to Disney+ domestically, including Turning Red, Luca and the Oscar-winning Soul, a decision rivals said taught families to wait to watch a film at home. (All three were considered streaming hits.) But Pixar and Disney reversed course and are once again committed to telling original theatrical stories, mixed in with known IP, such as last year's blockbuster and record-shattering Inside Out 2, the top-grossing pic of 2024, the top ever title for Pixar and the top animated of all time with more than $1.69 billion in worldwide ticket sales, not adjusted for inflation. (As fate would have it, Inside Out 2 opened on the same June weekend a year ago.) The live-action Lilo & Stitch remains a force to be reckoned with in its fifth weekend, and could earn as much as $9 million to $10 million domestically for a fourth-place finish. Also, now in its fifth weekend, Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning continues to show staying power and is expected to round out the top five with $7 million. A24's specialty romantic drama Materialists continues to do well, and is expected come in sixth domestically with an estimated $5.5 million to $6 million. Numbers will be updated Sunday morning. Is ‘North Shore' returning for season 2? Everything we know so far
North Shore , the Aussie crime show, grabbed viewers with its juicy murder plot and sweet Sydney Harbour scenery. You've got Joanne Froggatt as Abigail Crawford, a tough UK Trade Minister, and John Bradley as Detective Max Drummond, a Brit cop teaming up with an Aussie partner to crack the case of Abigail's daughter Sophie's death. Since it dropped on Network 10 in Australia in May 2023 and hit ITVX in the UK in December 2024, fans are dying to know: Is Season 2 happening? Here's everything we know so far. Is North Shore Season 2 Happening? As of June 2025, Network 10 and Paramount+ haven't said yes or no to North Shore Season 2. There's a glimmer of hope, though. Back in August 2023, the Nilsen Report claimed filming was set to start in Sydney that October, with Beach Road Pictures, ITV Studios, and Screen Australia in the mix. But no one's followed up with hard news, so we're left hanging, wondering if it's a go or a bust. Season 1 pulled a 6.8/10 on IMDb, and fans loved Froggatt and Bradley's chemistry, plus the crime-meets-drama vibe. Some weren't stoked about slow pacing or side characters who didn't shine, which might weigh on the decision. Until we hear more, it's all guesswork. North Shore Season 2 Potential Release Date No Season 2 confirmation means no release date yet. If that October 2023 filming rumor panned out, they might've wrapped by early 2024. Going by how long Season 1 took, we could see new episodes by late 2025 or early 2026. North Shore Season 2 Potential Plot Season 1 dug into Sophie's murder, with Max and Aussie cop Meg Driscoll (Kirsty Sturgess) unraveling political dirt and dark secrets. It tied up the main case but left some questions. No official plot for Season 2 yet, but here's what might go down: New Case, Same Duo: Max and Meg, with their Brit-Aussie banter, could tackle another Sydney murder, maybe tied to some shady international deal. Old Clues: Season 1 dropped hints about dodgy businessman Lloyd Macklin and a mystery caller tipping off Max and Abigail. Those could spark a new mess. Real Feelings: Abigail's still hurting from her loss, and Max's got issues with his partner, Anna, which could add depth to a fresh case. Jon Bernthal to play Punisher again in next 'Spider-Man' adventure
Jon Bernthal is set to reprise his iconic role of the Punisher in the next "Spider-Man" movie. Variety, Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter reported the casting news Friday. The film is set to go into production this summer. Bernthal has played the Marvel comic-book vigilante Frank Castle/the Punisher in his own eponymous TV show, as well as the related shows Daredevil and Daredevil: Born Again. In addition to appearing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day opposite Tom Holland as the titular web-slinger, Bernthal will also play the Punisher in an as-yet-untitled special on Disney+ Both projects are set for release in 2026. Bernthal was also recently seen in The Accountant 2 and The Amateur.
