A mob caught up in the ongoing Edinburgh gang war have warned they have recruited a new enforcer.
A new group calling themselves the "A Team" recently hit back at those orchestrating a series of firebombings and shootings in Edinburgh and Glasgow and laughed-off recent incidents.
A number of chilling threats have been issued from the Daniel and Mark Richardson outfit on social media as they say a new enforcer has been recruited to replace slain Kevin "Gerbil" Carroll.
Earlier in the week they said "bullets win" and warned retribution was coming the way of Dubai-based gangster Ross McGill who is believed to be behind continuous attacks across the central belt.
As the Record reports, the threats have been issued in wake of the double-murder of Eddie Lyons Jnr and Ross Monaghan in Spain.
A message from the "A Team" told rival operatives: "You allegedly got rid of this man out of total fear. RIP, Gerbil. He would have terrorised you. A real soldier, like our new friend who has replaced him."
In a series of mocking posts they branded former Rangers "ultra" McGill a "keyboard gangster" who was engaged in "school boy" attacks via his TMJ gang.
Another message read: "Take your wannabe joke of a clan and come back when you are all man enough to handle stuff like men."
Feared Daniels enforcer Kevin "Gerbil" Carroll was gunned down in 2010 as he sat in the back seat of an Audi in the Asda car park in Robroyston. The son-in-law of mobster Jamie Daniel was known for kidnapping and torturing rival drug dealers in attacks dubbed "alien abductions".
Ross Monaghan was arrested over the shooting but was acquitted after a judge at the High Court in Glasgow ruled there was insufficient evidence to convict him.
William 'Buff' Paterson, 45, was later convicted of the murder in 2015 and sentenced to a minimum of 22 years in prison.
Earlier this week the Record revealed around a dozen senior members from the Daniel clan and Richardson mob had fled Scotland.
An underworld source said: "Nobody knows exactly where they have gone or how long for but most of them are believed to be in Dubai and the rest are in the Costa del Sol.

"The TMJ gang were watching closely and hoping to catch one of them out in the open but all of a sudden they just upped sticks and left."
The move came after Spanish cops blamed the double execution of Lyons Jnr and pal Ross Monaghan on "an internal member of the Daniel gang".
Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Houston said: "We have been assisting Spanish colleagues with their investigation into the fatal shootings in Fuengirola.
"We are not aware of any current evidence which suggests the deaths of these two men in Spain are linked to the recent criminal attacks in Scotland being investigated as part of Operation Portaledge."
Michael Riley, 44, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court in connection with the shooting in Spain on Thursday. The total number of arrests in connection with the investigation Operation Portaledge is 48.

He has been named as 46-year-old Jarrod Gelling. Zunilda, who called herself Amy, had been missing since Saturday after flying to the Costa del Sol from Dubai. Her relatives described Jarrod overnight as "aggressive" and said they believe he could have lashed out after she told him she wanted a divorce. Zunilda's niece Yuleydis told Malaga-based newspaper Sur her aunt was going to help Jarrod following a knee operation before travelling to Portugal to compete and then going back to Colombia alone after taking the divorce decision. She said: "For my aunt it was the last trip, a goodbye. "She had taken the decision to split from her husband because of his aggressive behaviour. "They had broken up already once and were apart for quite a while but then got back together again to try to resolve things, although the mistreatment continued." The couple's bodies were found just before 2pm yesterday inside a property on a residential estate. Zunilda's gym companion raised the alarm saying he hadn't seen her since June 14. A National Police spokesman in Malaga said: "The National Police is investigating the death of a man and woman found lifeless at a property in Fuengirola. "In the absence of official identification of the bodies, initial inquiries are pointing to them being those of a 43-year-old woman of Colombian origin and her 46-year-old partner of American origin. "Officers went to the property on a residential estate about 1.45pm after a friend of the woman whose body was found reported her disappearance on Wednesday at the National Police Station in Torremolinos. "Her body showed obvious signs of violence and that of the man's signs indicating a suicide-type death which is something an autopsy will have to confirm." The suspected killer is believed to have Colombian and US nationality. If the woman's death is confirmed as a gender violence murder, it would be the third so far in the province of Malaga and the fifth in Southern Spain's Andalucia region. Spanish news website El Espanol has reported that Zunilda also had more than 100,000 followers on OnlyFans and Fansly. She finished second in the NPC Worldwide Latin American Championships in 2021. Her coach Branden Rey said in an emotional Instagram post: "We had 17 days until we were going to hit the stage and shock the world my friend. "I told you that you could possibly be top 10 in the world by the end of this year and I meant it. "Rest in paradise Amy." Bodybuilder friend and coach Behnaz Azar said in an online tribute: "I don't know where to begin. "My heart is broken, my mind is clouded, and my soul is drowning in shock and sorrow. "Amy - my kind, strong, fierce friend. "The most powerful woman I knew in the world of bodybuilding, yet with the gentlest heart." 5 Zunilda's niece Yuleydis told Malaga-based newspaper Sur her aunt was going to help Jarrod following a knee operation Credit: Solarpix

Gangland enforcers Tamo Junto vow to step up attacks on fleeing Daniel and Richardson crime clan

The faceless and frightening mob waging war on behalf of Dubai-based kingpin Ross McGill have sent a clear statement of intent to rivals. Gangland enforcers Tamo Junto (TMJ) have vowed to step up attacks on fleeing Daniel and Richardson crime clans in a chilling new video. The faceless and frightening mob waging war on behalf of Dubai-based kingpin Ross McGill sent a threatening message while showing off footage of a firebomb attack. ‌ A property in on Jackson Way in Tranent, East Lothian, was targeted on Friday, June 13. ‌ The front door and window of the home can be seen engulfed in flames. The video then ends with a sinister warning that more attacks are yet to come. In a threatening message, TMJ, lay claim to attacks on more than 40 people, as they boasted about a wave of infernos to houses, businesses and cars. They then go on to mock one of Mark Richardson's top associates David McMillan, who was allegedly attacked with machetes by thugs outside his Edinburgh home last month. ‌ A warning from the gang read: 'Since March, more than 40 people have had their houses, businesses and cars torched. 'The majority of you have left your homes throughout this period. 'David McMillan is one of the few who stayed put, albeit he hired 24/7 security to sit outside his home. Look how that worked out… ‌ 'You have retaliated against us by creating social media accounts, sending fake stories to the papers and burning the odd car. 'TMJ have no social media accounts, never have and never will. 'We will continue to target you on a regular basis for stealing from us.' ‌ Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Police Scotland have vowed to crackdown on the violence, and have arrested 48 people in connection with Operation Portaledge.
