A new month means many things, but in this specific instance, it means fresh Prime Video titles are coming our way.
As of our latest update, Amazon has now released the streaming service's full June 2025 schedule. With that on hand, we've added the comprehensive list of everything coming our way this month below.
You can also find our top picks for June below, too. One of them is "Deep Cover," a new London-set comedy crime caper starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed. Plus, there's a new adaptation of "We Were Liars" to look forward to, and, in late June, Prime Video is treating us to a "Countdown," an explosive new crime thriller series.
If none of our picks resonate with you, be sure to check out our round-ups of the best movies and shows on Prime Video for more recommendations. Otherwise, here's everything new to Prime Video in June 2025, including all the new TV shows, movies and live sport you can watch this month.
"American Thunder: NASCAR to Le Mans" is a feature-length documentary that recounts NASCAR's 2023 endeavor to complete the centenary edition of the legendary endurance race with an American stock car.
At the time, NASCAR CEO Jim France recruited NASCAR's franchise's most successful team to build, modify, and race the Chevrolet Camaro car in this grueling challenge.
With the aid of world-class drivers Jenson Button, Jimmie Johnson and Mike Rockefeller, Hendrick Motorsports strove to turn the car into a vehicle capable of rising to the occasion. And in this new release, you can learn all about this story of innovation and determination on Prime Video.

If you're looking for some adrenaline-pumping entertainment, Prime Video's upcoming crime thriller "Countdown" has you covered.
Created by Derek Haas (exec producer of the "One Chicago" and "FBI" franchises), "Countdown" is a new action-packed show that sees an undercover team enter a race against time to save the lives of millions living in Los Angeles.
LAPD detective Mark Meachum ("Supernatural", "The Boys") is drafted into the secret task force after a Department of Homeland Security officer is murdered in broad daylight, and the hunt for the killer uncovers a far more sinister plot. Expect stunts, shoot-outs and more, and look forward to the series' three-episode premiere this June.
Stream "Countdown" on Prime Video from June 25
"Deep Cover" is my most anticipated Prime Video release of the month, as the combination of an off-beat pitch (comedians go deep undercover) and the core cast involved makes for a winning combo.
Tom Kingsley's upcoming comedy follows three improv comics — teacher Kat (Bryce Dallas Howard) and her students (Orlando Bloom and "Ted Lasso" star Nick Mohammed) — as they accept a dangerous mission from a London undercover cop (Sean Bean).
Together, they're dispatched to infiltrate London's gangland, using their "skills" to impersonate dangerous criminals. Everything I've seen so far suggests it's gonna be a fun time, and I can't wait to see what's in store.
Stream "Deep Cover" on Prime Video from June 12
"Head Over Heels" is a new Prime Video K-drama billed as a combination of "heart-fluttering romance with supernatural intrigue."
The series revolves around Park Seong-A (Cho Yi-hyun), a high school student leading a double life: by day, she's a normal pupil, but by night, she's a powerful shamaness.
Her life takes a surprising turn when she crosses paths with a handsome new transfer student, Bae Gyeon-U (Choo Young-woo), who suffers from an unlucky fate. Park Seong-A sees a vision that suggests his death is imminent, and, after falling head over heels for the new boy, she vows to save his life.
Stream "Head Over Heels" on Prime Video from June 23
"We Were Liars" is an adaptation of E. Lockhart's bestselling YA novel of the same name that follows Cadence Sinclair Eastman (Emily Alyn Lind) and her inner circle, called the Liars.
The Sinclairs are New England royalty, known for sharing an enviable bond, for good looks, and for their wealth. But after her life is changed by a mysterious accident, it seems that everyone Cadence knows, including her beloved Liars, has something to hide.
Excited to see the book brought to life? Look forward to binge-watching "We Were Liars" in June, as all eight episodes are being dropped at once.

Denny Hamlin wins Busch Light Pole Award at Pocono

Denny Hamlin won Busch Light Pole qualifying at Pocono Raceway and will lead the field to green for Sunday's The Great American Getaway 400 (2 p.m. ET, Prime Video, MRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio). The all-time Cup wins leader at Pocono put down a hot lap of 172.599 mph in his return to on-track action after missing Mexico City last weekend due to the birth of his son. It is the 44th pole of his career. Advertisement RELATED: Starting lineup | At-track photos: Pocono Chris Buescher (172.325 mph) will join Hamlin on the front row. Carson Hocevar (171.825 mph), John Hunter Nemechek (171.789 mph) and Cole Custer (171.638 mph) rounded out the top five. Chase Briscoe, Ty Gibbs, Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell and Daniel Suárez completed the top 10 in Sunday's starting lineup. William Byron crashed on his qualifying lap coming off Turn 2 and suffered significant front-end damage. Bubba Wallace and Josh Berry did not put down qualifying laps due to respective mechanical issues. Brennan Poole and the No. 44 team were not allowed to qualify after failing pre-race inspection three times. Also, Cody Ware crashed in practice and did not qualify. Advertisement PRACTICE Before crashing on his qualifying lap, Byron put down the fastest single lap in Saturday's practice session at 170.758 mph. Hamlin back to trophy hunting after one-week absence for birth of son

Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin, a three-race winner this season, missed last week's race in Mexico City so he could be home with his family for the birth of his first son, Jameson Drew. Hamlin revealed that it was a tough labor for his fiancée, Jordan, and was glad he could be there for her and their two daughters. His son's name was thoughtful and purposeful — Jameson is 'James' son' and James is Hamlin's first name. And Drew gives him 'JD' initials — a nod to both the late JD Gibbs, a cherished friend of Hamlin and the person credited with hiring him at JGR and also the initials of James Dean, the car owner earlier in Hamlin's career providing his big opportunity to be seen — and eventually hired — to a major NASCAR operation. Advertisement 'He's been great, slept through the night the last three nights in a row. … he's behaving good early,' Hamlin said of his son, with a smile. MORE: Truex fills in for Hamlin at Mexico City Hamlin said he watched the Mexico City race from home last weekend and was very impressed with the Amazon Prime broadcast and the extended time the network uses. But he's ready to race at Pocono — where his seven wins are the most all-time. He finished runner-up (2024) and scored that seventh win (2023) in the last two visits. 'Just a track that no matter what the car we drive or the tires we have on or the aero package, none of that really matters,' said Hamlin, who earned his first career NASCAR Cup Series victory at Pocono, sweeping both races — from pole position no less – in his 2006 rookie season. Advertisement 'You still make speed at this race track the same way, no matter what car you're driving. 'It's been one of the few tracks that I haven't had to change my approach to it, depending on the car I'm driving. So, I think that's why the success has been sustained.'

Patrick Walden, Guitarist for British Group Babyshambles, Dies at 46

Patrick Walden, the guitarist for British group Babyshambles, has died at the age of 46. Babyshambles, fronted by Pete Doherty, announced Walden's death on social media in a joint statement. 'It is with deep regret and sadness that we share the news of Patrick Walden's death,' reads the post. 'We feel very fortunate to have known/loved and worked with him and we kindly ask for respect and privacy during these difficult times.' No cause of death was given. Walden, a London native, had a short-lived stint with Babyshambles, which Doherty formed in 2004 after he was kicked out of the Libertines for drug abuse. He joined the group as lead guitarist alongside Doherty on vocals, Drew McConnell on bass and Gemma Clarke on drums, and co-wrote six songs on the band's 2005 debut 'Down in Albion' including 'Fuck Forever,' 'Pipedown' and 'Loyalty Song.' 'Down in Albion' was a moderate success in the U.K., peaking at No. 10 on the charts. 'Fuck Forever' became the group's biggest single, reaching No. 4 on the U.K. singles chart. Walden, who had previously played in bands including Fluid and White Sport, left the group in 2005 after dealing with drug abuse and accusations of assaulting his girlfriend, which led to a brief incarceration. The charges were inevitably dropped. Over the years, he would pop in for performances with Babyshambles, though he never officially rejoined the band. He was not present for a Babyshambles reunion that took place last year, and it was unclear if he would be joining the group for future performances.
