Who is on Celebrity Gogglebox tonight? New pairs join show
This series, new celebrities are being added to the show each week so viewers can look forward to seeing different faces along with those that are usually on the show. Here's what we know about this week's lineup. Celebrity Gogglebox will welcome comedian Romesh Ranganathan who will be reacting to this week's TV shows with singer Rag'n'Bone Man. A post shared by Gogglebox (@c4gogglebox) The pair's appearance on the show was announced on the official Gogglebox Instagram account and fans shared their excitement at the news. One said: 'Another brilliant pairing 😊'. Another commented: 'Magic team 🔥'. One asked why the pair were together, with another person explaining they're friends. While it might seem an unlikely pairing, the reaction was mostly positive with people excited to see them, saying their segment on the show 'should be funny'. Also joining Celebrity Gogglebox this week are comedians Joe Wilkinson and Roisin Conaty. A post shared by Gogglebox (@c4gogglebox) The announcement was also received well by fans of the show, with one saying: 'These two could just do the whole programme on their own and it would be brilliant!! ❤️' Another commented: 'Excellent pairing! 'They never broke up,' a source told Page Six on Thursday. The actor, 52, brought Shirtcliff to Wednesday's Los Angeles premiere of his new series, Countdown, with a source claiming to Entertainment Tonight that 'the two have been in an on-and-off relationship for over three years and care deeply for each other.' However, Page Six is told it was the first time Jain, 27, had ever heard of the director, 41. Our source said Jain, who has been photographed with Dane multiple times, met him last summer and that they became 'exclusive' in November 2024 — right before he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He announced his diagnosis in April. According to our source, Jain was 'devastated by the diagnosis' but stood by the Grey's Anatomy star's side. Interestingly, ET's source claimed that 'Eric asked Janell to be there for him during this time, and she wanted to show up for him.' It is understood told that since Jain and Dane met, she has spent almost every night at his house, where she has tons of clothes. The source added that the actress has even spent time with Dane's kids — daughters Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13 — whom he shares with Rebecca Gayheart. Gayheart, 53, has since clarified that she and her on-again, off-again husband are 'staying a family' and remain the 'best of friends.' Not only did Jain and Dane get matching star tattoos late last year, but the Euphoria star also gave her a tattoo with an at-home tattoo gun shortly after, it was claimed. The source added that the last time they saw each other was this past weekend, while the last time they were photographed together was mid-May. Reps for Dane, Jain and Shirtcliff did not immediately respond to Page Six's requests for comment. Eric Dane steps out for 1st red carpet since announcing ALS diagnosis
Eric Dane made his first red carpet appearance since he announced his ALS diagnosis in April. The actor stepped out for the premiere of the series, "Countdown," in Los Angeles on Wednesday. In attendance were his "Countdown" co-stars Jensen Ackles, Jessica Camacho, Violett Beane, Elliot Knight and Uli Latukefu. Dane was all smiles as he posed for photos with Janell Shirtcliff. "I feel good," Dane told Variety in an interview at the event. "It's nice to be here with everybody and see the hours and hours of work that we put into this come alive on screen." Earlier this week, the former "Grey's Anatomy" star opened up about his diagnosis with ABC News' Diane Sawyer. ALS, which is short for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a degenerative neurological disorder that eventually leads to paralysis, taking away a person's ability to move, speak, swallow or even breathe, according to the National Institutes of Health. There is currently no cure for ALS. Despite already losing the use of his right arm and fears he has about what ALS symptoms he may experience next, the actor told E! News in an interview this week that he plans ot keep working "'til the wheels fall off." "It keeps me sharp. It keeps me moving forward, which is super important right now," he said. "I feel great when I'm at work," he added. "Of course, there have been some sort of setbacks, but I feel pretty good. My spirit is always pretty buoyant, so at the end of the day, that's all that matters. Eric Dane says he has lost use of his right arm amid ALS battle Dane's new series follows LAPD detective Mark Meachum (Ackles), who is recruited to a secret task force with other undercover agents to investigate the murder of an officer with the Department of Homeland Security, according to a synopsis in a press release. The synopsis continues, "But the hunt for the killer soon uncovers a plot far more sinister than anyone could have imagined, kicking off a race against time to save a city of millions."
