Richard Madeley has shared a grisly injury he sustained, after appearing live on Good Morning Britain wearing a cast.
The 69-year-old was hosting the Monday morning edition of the programme alongside Susanna Reid, 54, when she asked him about the cast wrapped around his right wrist.
Richard explained he had a double fracture after taking a tumble while in France last week.
Susanna told Richard he 'better explain' at the start of the early morning programme, adding that the injury 'looked sore'.
Richard replied: 'It's a double fracture of the wrist.
'I was walking quite quickly down a steep pavement in France on Friday, and the pavement was loose and it flipped up and it flipped me forward.
'I thought, am I going to win or is gravity going to win? And gravity won.
'I hit the ground hard, so yeah, I've got a double fracture and we'll see how it goes.'
Susanna then went on to ask her co-host how much the pain of the break was bothering him, to which he replied: 'I'm not discussing the pain threshold, we just don't think about pain.'
Richard went on to bravely front the programme alongside Susanna, as they discussed Greta Thunberg's aid boat being stopped by Israeli forces and anti-immigration raid protests in Los Angeles.
He also went on to interview Jim Moir, also known by his stage name Vic Reeves, who demonstrated his skill at making his bed in eight seconds. Richard congratulated him with 'one hand clapping' due to the wrist injury.
Good Morning Britain viewers took to X to comment on Madeley's injury, with @wrinklytimelord writing: 'Awww Madeley has an owie.'
@topham_cheryl wrote: 'Is Richard channeling his inner Keith lemon this morning with his bandage?'
@AlanCortes echoed: 'Is R.Madeley doing a Keith lemon wrist bandaged.' More Trending

The row then started after Emily accused Toni of talking behind her back and was warned by Meg that Toni had said she was being "nosey" and described her as "Little Miss Sunshine." Toni was also seen talking about Emily to Shakira, who agreed with Toni's views. Following their row, an exasperated Emily said she thought Toni was "just trying to cause a problem," and "she's f****g nuts." But viewers watching at home accused the Islanders of bullying due to the many instances of gossiping about Emily without her knowledge. "Toni wanted to be the IT girl so bad and is now just trying anything to stay relevant causing problems when Emily hasn't done anything wrong, when actually she just looks like a bully," wrote one Love Island fan on X, formerly Twitter. Another added: "You all love Toni but last year you all hated Jess saying she was a bully?!?!?!" A third wrote: "Toni is like a school ground bully, poor Emily her and Shakira are 2 b*****s." And a fourth posted: "How can you call Toni a bully for that when Emily happily begs it w the bully trio." Toni hasn't had the easiest ride in the villa, and on Wednesday night she was almost dumped from the villa.
