Ravens schedule 2025: Baltimore makes a list of teams deserving of more prime-time games Baltimore will play four games in prime time this season, and Pro Football Network added the Ravens to the list of teams deserving of more night games
The NFL schedule was released last Wednesday night, and the Ravens are scheduled for four prime-time games, including a rare "Monday Night Football" game in Baltimore against the Detroit Lions in Week 3.
Since John Harbaugh became the Ravens' coach in 2008, Baltimore has only had five home Monday Night games, tied with Houston and Jacksonville for the fewest in those 16 years. Baltimore is the Super Bowl favorite, but the NFL kept the Ravens in nine early afternoon (1:00 PM ET) and two late afternoon contests.
Pro Football Network looked at four teams that deserved more primetime matchups, and Baltimore made the cut.
This one's a head-scratcher. The Ravens are consistently one of the league's top teams, yet they were given fewer prime-time games than the Chicago Bears, Dolphins, and Falcons.
Baltimore is No. 1 in PFSN's power rankings heading into 2025, and its offense ranked second in Offense+, trailing only the Detroit Lions. The Ravens led the league in EPA per dropback, EPA per rush, and red-zone efficiency. Lamar Jackson was dominant again in an MVP-level year, and he has Derrick Henry in the backfield.
The Ravens' defense had some issues against the pass last season, but it still graded out as a top-10 unit in Defense+. With the additions of Malaki Starks and Mike Green in the draft, they should take a leap in 2025.
Baltimore's final two games (at Green Bay and Pittsburgh) could be flexed into prime time, giving John Harbaugh's team six overall.

Latest report on Jalen Ramsey should end any speculation about trade to Panthers

"The Dolphins continue to have conversations about trading Jalen will be traded and I would expect it to happen before Training Camp" ~ @AdamSchefter #PMSLive Jalen Ramsey may be far too big of a fish to catch for the Carolina Panthers. With Ramsey and his Miami Dolphins seemingly on the outs, a handful of teams have been linked to a potential acquisition of the three-time All-Pro cornerback. Among the proposed suitors have been the Panthers, who hold a pretty intriguing link to the 30-year-old defender. Speculation regarding a trade to Carolina grew when Ramsey, in a Twitter/X post from May, praised Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero—Ramsey's position coach from their days with the Los Angeles Rams. Since that tweet, analysts and fans alike have considered the Panthers as a possible buyer. But that hype train has been losing steam. Last week, Joe Person of The Athletic opined that the Panthers wouldn't be "inclined" to pursue either of Ramsey or fellow big-name cornerback Jaire Alexander. (He's already one-for-one.) And now, following a new bit of reporting from ESPN senior NFL insider Adam Schefter, hopeful Panthers fans might want to move on from the idea of reeling in Ramsey. Here's the latest on the situation from Schefter, who appeared on The Pat McAfee Show this past Friday . . . Ramsey already spent four seasons with the Rams, including the team's Super Bowl-winning campaign in 2021. That, again, is where he crossed paths with Evero—who served as Los Angeles' secondary coach and defensive passing game coordinator that year. So, it feels like there might be a reunion in the works for Ramsey—but just not with Evero. Follow @ThePanthersWire on Twitter/X for more Panthers content.
