A new Kwik Trip coming to Green Bay on West Mason, construction underway
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Motorists traveling on West Mason Street may notice some construction happening between Oneida Street and 12th Avenue.
It was confirmed that a new Kwik Trip store will occupy the lot in the 1000 block of West Mason Street.
Kwik Trip tells Local 5 that construction started on May 26 and the tentative completion date is October 24. The completion date is weather dependent, Kwik Trip said.
Noah's Ark Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells opens this weekend
Officials say the store will have a carwash attached to it, and it will be a Gen 3 store. This means it will have roughly 9,100 square feet and have a 'modern look'.
There is only one other store in the Green Bay area that is a Gen 3 store. The Kwik Trip on 2499 South Point Road in Ashwaubenon is the other Gen 3 store.
The location used to be home to a complex with local businesses. .

Apple Alert notifies Wisconsin authorities of crash, drone used to find vehicle off road
BRIGHTON, Wis. (WFRV) – An Apple Alert notification alerted local authorities to a crash in southeast Wisconsin, where a thermal drone had to be used to find the wreck deep in a wooded area. Just after 11:30 p.m. on Friday, June 13, first responders with the Kansasville Fire and Rescue Department say they got an Apple automated crash notification alerting them to a crash near the intersection of STH 142 and 224th Avenue in Brighton. Deputies with the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office immediately responded but were not able to find the vehicle right away. Using a thermal-imaging drone, the car was found roughly 50 feet off the roadway and hidden in thick brush and multiple trees.
