2025 Rocket Classic field is set. Here's the full list of golfers heading to Detroit

The 2025 Rocket Classic field is officially set, with many big names coming out to Detroit for the city's biggest annual golf event. The first big wave of commitments to the 2025 classic included four past champions: Cam Davis (2024 and 2021), Rickie Fowler (2023), Tony Finau (2022) and Nate Lashley (2019). Davis is the only two-time winner of the event, winning the 2024 tournament on the final hole after a collapse from runner-up Akshay Bhatia, who committed to the tournament on Wednesday, June 18. The lefty is looking to repeat his 2024 performance but with a better finish, after three-putting the final hole to fall to a tie for second place despite topping the leaderboard for most of the tournament. Lashley won the inaugural event in 2019, then known as the Rocket Mortgage Classic (changing to the Rocket Classic for the 2025 event). Finau holds the tournament record shooting a 26-under-par in the 2022 event. The highest-ranked golfer committed to the event is Collin Morikawa, currently ranked as the world's No. 4 golfer. The world's No. 8 golfer (and current U.S. Open champion) J.J. Spaun initially committed to the tournament, but pulled his name from the list earlier on Friday. MORE BACKSTORY: U.S. Open winner J.J.
