Defensive Tackle Tiki Hola Commits To Notre Dame

Yahoo10-05-2025

Notre Dame has landed yet another big time football player with Bastrop (Texas) High School standout Tiki Hola announcing his commitment to the Fighting Irish. Notre Dame beat out USC and SMU to land the talented defensive tackle.
Notre Dame has been recruiting Hola for about two years, with his first visit to campus coming in 2023 when he watched the Fighting Irish beat Wake Forest (45-7). In March of 2024, Hola was officially offered a scholarship by Notre Dame during its Pot of Gold push. A week later he made his second visit to campus, and since then Hola has made two more trips to campus as the Irish. Defensive line coach Al Washington established a strong rapport with Hola, selling his vision for how the Bastrop star fits in the Irish defense, and that played a major role in this decision.

The Texas defensive lineman is listed at 6-3 and between 270-285 pounds, but he checked in recently at 6-3 and 300 pounds. As a junior, Hola racked up 102 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, two sacks, forced three fumbles and recovered two fumbles. He earned Defensive MVP honors after putting together that dominant season. Hola also earned first-team All-State honors at the 5A level. Landing Hola gives Notre Dame the kind of physical, stout, disruptive big man that could help improve the Irish run defense.
Hola is ranked as a Top 150 caliber prospect on the Irish Breakdown board, but he has a 4.5-star upside grade, which is that of a Top 50-75 prospect. ESPN and Rivals both rank Hola as a four-star recruit, with ESPN ranking him as the nation's No. 150 overall player and No. 12 defensive tackle.
Hola also had offers from Georgia, Texas, LSU, Michigan, Oregon, Texas A&M, Miami (Fla.), Tennessee, Nebraska, TCU, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, Texas Tech, Baylor, Boston College, Arizona and Houston.
Hola is the 15th player to commit to Notre Dame. He joins Florida quarterback Noah Grubbs, Texas running back Javian Osborne, Florida wide receiver Dylan Faison, Georgia wide receiver Bubba Frazier, Pennsylvania offensive lineman Tyler Merrill, Michigan offensive linemen Ben Nichols, Gregory Patrick and Sullivan Garvin, North Carolina ends Ebenezer Ewetade and Rodney Dunham, North Carolina linebacker Thomas Davis Jr., Ohio linebacker Jakobe Clapper, Florida cornerback Ayden Pouncey and Tennessee cornerback Chaston Smith.

Travelers Championship 2025 prize money payouts for each player at TPC River Highlands

Keegan Bradley rules the northeast once again. This year's U.S. Ryder Cup Captain won the 2025 Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut on Sunday. Bradley made birdie on the 72nd and final hole while Tommy Fleetwood, who held the lead all day, made bogey — a most costly of two-shot swings for the Englishman, who will have to wait another day for his first victory on the PGA Tour. Advertisement The Travelers was the Tour's final signature event of the season, meaning there was lots of cash up for grabs. Here's how much prize money each player is taking home after Sunday's action in New England. Le Havre AC set to be sold

Foot Mercato understands that Le Havre AC has been sold to new owners. Recently, the club's president, Jean-Michel Roussier, had evoked the potential sale of the Normand side. As per Foot Mercato, there have been talks for some time regarding the sale of Le Havre. However, those talks have accelerated significantly in recent hours, to the point that a deal to sell the club has now been concluded. The deal comes just days ahead of Le Havre's meeting with the DNCG, French football's financial watchdog. The club must currently make up a deficit worth €15m. Advertisement Whilst the identity of the buyer is yet to be revealed, Foot Mercato refers to talks with Houston-based Blue Crow. Incidentally, HAC's current owner, Vincent Volpe, splits his time between Le Havre and the Texan city. Those talks have been ongoing for several weeks. Blue Crow also own Léganès and Cancún FC, notably. However, other investors have also recently signalled an interest in buying the club, renowned for their academy, and who recently secured their safety in Ligue 1 thanks to a last-gasp win over RC Strasbourg Alsace on the final day of the season. Buccaneers have unique placement in Madden 26 beta team ratings

Every year, gamers and actual football players alike get excited about the release of the annual Madden football game. Like every video game, a beta version is always released to work out the bugs within it, as well as to see what works and what doesn't in terms of ideas. Within that, it also allows for previews of the game itself to happen, and one of those things includes the overall ratings of the teams within the game. Advertisement While we do not yet see the ratings of players, we do see the team overalls, and they are something to behold. The Bucs' overall rating is 84, which ranks them 13th, tied with their division rival, the Atlanta Falcons. Other NFC South team ratings include the Panthers' 79, which ranks them 29th, and the Saints' 83, which is good enough for 17th. There are some questionable teams ranked ahead of the Bucs, such as the Browns, Jets, Steelers, and Dolphins. Bucs fans will have to wait for revenge for when the full game releases later this year.
