Son Heung-min set to stay at Tottenham until after pre-season clash in South Korea due to little-known contract clause
TOTTENHAM are highly unlikely to sell Son Heung-min before their pre-season tour to South Korea.
Captain Son, 32, is a target for Saudi Pro League clubs and is coveted by his old boss Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahce in Turkey.

SunSport understands the forward would be open to leaving Spurs this summer.
He sees the merits of ending a decade at the club on a high following last month's Europa League triumph.
Spurs would not let him go on the cheap, though, especially given the vast commercial benefits he brings to the club through his iconic status in his home country.
It is why it would be a major shock if the North Londoners sold him ahead of their trip to Seoul at the start of August.
Tottenham play a friendly against Newcastle at The Seoul World Cup Stadium on August 3.
The North Londoners are commercially contracted to play Son in the game and would be impacted financially if they did not, even if he was injured.
It is similar to commercial agreements with most top players at the big clubs for pre-season tours to avoid second-string sides being fielded and disappointing supporters.
The deal does not mean Son could not be sold before the tour if Spurs receive a massive offer they feel they could not turn down - but it considerably diminishes the chances of that happening.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are in regular contact with Israeli winger Manor Solomon, who is stranded in Tel Aviv amid the ongoing conflict with Iran.
Solomon, 25, married long-term partner Dana Voshina in his homeland last Thursday but the couple have not been able to leave the country since.
That is because the Israeli military closed airspace to civilian traffic following aerial attacks from Iran last week.
A Spurs spokesperson said: 'We are constantly in regular dialogue with all our players regarding their wellbeing and welfare.'
Spurs' players are not due back for pre-season training until early July.
Solomon won the Championship on loan at Leeds last season.
But as SunSport exclusively revealed earlier this month, Spurs are ready to give him a second chance to make it with his parent club this term.

South Korea industry ministry flags concerns over US strike on Iran
SEOUL, June 23 (Reuters) - A South Korean vice industry minister expressed concern on Monday over the potential impact on the country's trade from recent U.S. strikes on Iran. "As the Middle East situation enters a new phase due to the U.S. airstrike on Iran's nuclear facilities, there are concerns about the impact on our exports and imports," first vice industry minister Moon Shin-hak said at a meeting to monitor monthly exports, according to the ministry. South Korea is Asia's fourth-largest economy and depends heavily on exports. Officials on Sunday held an emergency security meeting to assess the potential economic impact of the U.S. military action. Seoul has deepened its reliance on crude oil imports from the Middle East, which accounted for 72% of total imports in 2023. Oil prices jumped on Monday to their highest since January and market participants are bracing for further price gains amid fears that an Iranian retaliation may include a closure of the Strait of Hormuz, through which roughly a fifth of global crude supply flows. South Korean President Lee Jae Myung will not attend the NATO summit this week, citing uncertainties caused by the Middle East situation, his office said earlier.

And it marked another underwhelming dugout performance following spells at Derby, DC United and Birmingham. Rooney has since enjoyed spending time as a pundit, working on Amazon Prime while featuring on the Stick to Football podcast. He also captained and managed England at Soccer Aid earlier this month, scoring the fastest goal in the charity match's history before ex-United teammate Carlos Tevez banged in four to hand victory to a World XI. However, Rooney is now truly back in the beautiful game after landing a new job. But it is not another managerial stint for England's former captain. Instead, Rooney has linked up with a luxury training camp for children called Football Escapes. The company organises half-term retreats for kids and their parents in exotic locations like Cyprus, Portugal and the Maldives. He will teach aspiring youngsters the ropes alongside a fellow Premier League icon in ex-Tottenham and England defender Michael Dawson. But training with Rooney doesn't come cheap. Football Escapes are advertising a seven-day stay for a family of four at the 5-star Jumeirah Beach Hotel for £8499 on their website – and that's BEFORE flights. A statement read: 'By popular demand, Wayne Rooney will be returning to Dubai, alongside Michael Dawson, for a week of Football Escapes magic this October Half Term, 20th - 24th October 2025. 'The kids will train daily, in their personalised kit, with our ambassadors and UEFA-qualified coaches, building their confidence and their skills with coaching from none other than Wayne Rooney.
