How to watch all Jurassic films before Jurassic World Rebirth hits theatres

Time of Indiaa day ago

The Jurassic franchise is roaring back into cinemas this summer with Jurassic World Rebirth, releasing on July 2, 2025. The new film stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali, and continues the dinosaur saga five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion.
But before jumping into the latest prehistoric adventure, why not revisit the films that built this dino legacy? Here's where you can stream all six Jurassic movies, and more, ahead of Rebirth's big release.
Jurassic film franchise timeline and where to stream them
You can find the entire Jurassic Park and Jurassic World saga across platforms like Prime Video, Peacock, and Apple TV. In India, most titles are also available on JioCinema. Here's where each film is streaming:
Jurassic Park (1993) – Prime Video, Peacock, Apple TV, JioCinema
The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) – Prime Video, Peacock, Apple TV, JioCinema
Jurassic Park III (2001) – Prime Video, Peacock, Apple TV, JioCinema
Jurassic World (2015) – Prime Video, Peacock, Apple TV, JioCinema
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) – Prime Video, Peacock, Apple TV, JioCinema
Jurassic World Dominion (2022) – Prime Video, Peacock, Apple TV, JioCinema
This is the perfect time to binge all the films before the franchise's next big chapter arrives.
Don't miss the animated adventures
Alongside the live-action films, the franchise has some fun animated content too:
Lego Jurassic World: The Secret Exhibit (2018)
Lego Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar (2019)
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous (2020–2022) – A Netflix original that expands the story with new characters and thrilling side plots
These animated series add extra layers to the story and are perfect for younger fans or casual viewers looking for more dino fun.
Why you should watch in order
Watching the Jurassic saga in release order offers the best experience. You follow how science, ethics, and survival themes evolve from Jurassic Park's early chaos to the global consequences in Dominion. It also sets the stage perfectly for the new characters and conflicts in Rebirth.
What to expect in upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth
Jurassic World Rebirth follows Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), who leads a team on a dangerous mission to collect DNA from three massive prehistoric creatures. Their goal is to develop a life-saving drug, but a shipwrecked family, an isolated island, and new dinosaur threats shake things up.
Directed by Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp, who also co-wrote the original Jurassic Park, this film brings a fresh yet familiar feel to the story. With a huge budget and Spielberg backing it, expect high-stakes action and stunning visuals.

The Traitors: Raftaar gets eliminated, reasons that he would rather be out with good character

Jun 20, 2025 09:11 PM IST Three new episodes of The Traitors dropped on Prime Video this week. It was Raftaar who got eliminated from the reality show in the sixth episode. He received the most number of votes in the circle of shaq, and was seen proudly proclaiming that he is an innocent. In the fifth episode, it was Ashish Vidyarthi who was eliminated. (Also read: The Traitors: Maheep Kapoor gets eliminated, Sufi Motiwala and Raftaar get into an ugly fight) Raftaar exited the show after receiving the most number of votes. Raftaar was always under the scanner in the last three episodes during the circle of shaq. He did manage to defend himself and share that he is not a traitor initially, but Sufi Motiwala brought out the plan that during the task there was a question which read, 'Who are the traitors most scared of?' The choice was between Sufi and Raftaar, and the correct answer was revealed to be him. Sufi reasoned that Raftaar being the traitor tried to name himself in the answer so that no one would doubt him. Raftaar said that he is not that foolish to do that deflection game even if he were a traitor. However, he shared that he would rather prove his point of having a 'good character' and show that he is a man of his words. Upon being voted out, Raftaar revealed that he is an innocent, which shocked everyone. In the fifth episode, Purav Jha pointed out that Ashish Vidyarthi is playing the game very well and could definitely be the traitor. Many others seemed to agree on that note and he was voted out. He also turned out to be an innocent, which came as a shock to many. As of now, Raj Kundra, Lakshmi Manchu, Sahil Salathia, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, and Raftaar have been eliminated from the Karan Johar-hosted reality show. Unbeknownst to the rest of the gang, Elnaaz Norouzi and Purav Jha are the traitors. The new episodes will air on Prime Video every Thursday at 8 p.m.

Jaws turns 50: How Spielberg's shark thriller continues to terrify generations

Half a century since its release, Jaws remains one of the most iconic and terrifying films ever made. Steven Spielberg's 1975 thriller, which hit the 50-year mark on June 20, didn't just change how we watch movies. It changed how we think about the sea. The fear it instilled was so real that some viewers couldn't step into a pool, let alone an ocean, for years. And many still flinch at the idea of what lurks below. Jaws turns 50( This summer, the shark is back. All four Jaws films will stream on Peacock from June 15. NBC will air the original on June 20, with a special introduction by Spielberg. A theatrical re-release is also planned for August 29. For Spielberg, the film became both a breakthrough and a burden. At just 27, he faced constant setbacks on set-especially with the faulty mechanical shark known as Bruce. In the upcoming documentary Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story (July 11, Hulu/Disney+), Spielberg admits: 'There was nothing fun about making 'Jaws,'' per USA Today. Also read: Jab Steven Spielberg met Kareena Kapoor: 'Are you the girl in famous Indian film about three students?' Martha's Vineyard and lasting fear Experts say the film's impact remains because it taps into something primal. 'Sharks stand in perfectly for wild nature that's at the edge of where humans can go,' horror scholar Dawn Keetley told the outlet. The movie was shot with locals from Martha's Vineyard, many of whom still share stories. And even now, beachgoers around the world hesitate when stepping into the ocean - just in case something is waiting below the surface. One of the often-overlooked elements that gave Jaws its authentic feel was the number of Martha's Vineyard locals who appeared in the film. While the cast included Hollywood names like Roy Scheider, who played police chief Martin Brody, and Richard Dreyfuss as shark expert Matt Hooper, the majority of the supporting roles were filled by islanders. Their natural presence added a layer of realism that couldn't have been achieved with a full cast of seasoned actors on a studio set. Many of them continue to participate in 'Jaws' fan events.
