Title: Hadjar hit with three-place grid penalty
Content: Carlos Sainz was furious with his Q1 exit on Saturday and instantly flagged to his Williams team he had been the victim of "massive impeding" during the scrap to make it through to Q2.
The offending car was Racing Bulls rookie Isack Hadjar, who was given misinformation by his pit wall that Spaniard Sainz had already aborted his lap when the two cars came across each other in the first sector.
After qualifying, the stewards found Hadjar guilty of impeding so the Frenchman will now drop down the order from P9 to P12, promoting Alex Albon, Franco Colapinto and Nico Hulkenberg.

New Club World Cup rule introduced for first time in Fifa history in major boost to Lionel Messi
LIONEL MESSI'S bid for shock Club World Cup glory has been boosted by a rule change. Messi 's Inter Miami are joint top of Group A after his majestic winner against Porto. And for the first time in the competition's history, Fifa are adopting Uefa-style rules to sort out who goes through - if teams end up tied. The leading two sides in each of the eight four-team groups qualify for the last 16. A problem comes if two clubs are level on points for a qualifying place. Fifa used to decide it on goal difference. But this summer football's international chiefs have switched to head-to-head records. Palmeiras on four points from two matches. Portuguese giants Porto and Saudi team Al Ahly have just a point apiece. Club World Cup 2025 Guide SOME of the world's biggest clubs are heading Stateside for a MAMMOTH Club World Cup. Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Man City, and Inter Miami are among the 32 teams taking part in the tournament, which runs from June 14 to July 13. Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, Ousmane Dembele, Cole Palmer and Harry Kane will be showing their skills to packed crowds across the US. Los Blancos are favourites to lift the trophy in New York but will face stiff competition from around the globe. Fifa will hope the full range of tiebreakers won't be needed to split teams if they are level on points. That's because the eighth and final option is the dreaded drawing of lots. After points and head-to-head record, goal difference between the teams in question is the third criteria. Goals scored between the two sides is next - followed by group goal difference and then group goals scored. Down at number seven is disciplinary points from yellow and red cards. A booking for a player of staff member is minus one point, two yellows for the same person is minus three, and a straight red card minus four. Eight-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi will of course aim to produce more magic to kill off the need for such tiebreakers. Fans raved he was "still the GOAT" and "from another planet" after his curling free-kick sunk Porto 2-1 on Thursday night, watched by 31,783 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. 2

The Latest Ford Bronco's Airbags Could Hit Too Hard
Ford Bronco Facing Airbag Recall The 2025 Ford Bronco has just been recalled, and unfortunately, it's for a physical fault that could reduce safety. According to recall documents filed with the NHTSA, 'the active vent flap on the passenger side may prevent the airbag from deploying as intended.' This recall covers 2,272 Broncos, and while it's not good news, owners can at least take comfort in the knowledge that this isn't nearly as serious as the Takata airbag fault that continues to plague numerous unrecalled vehicles from manufacturers around the world, and this air bag is made by a completely different company. 0:07 / 0:09 Audi A5 replaces A4: So, what's changed? Watch More The Airbag May Not Cushion Impacts Properly Source: Ford The NHTSA says that if the active vent flap of the passenger airbag doesn't open during a crash, 'the internal cushion pressure will not decrease as rapidly as designed, resulting in a higher-pressure cushion interacting with an occupant.' In other words, the component meant to safely prevent an occupant's head from hitting the dashboard could well injure them instead. The problem was discovered during routine testing by Michigan-based airbag supplier Joyson Safety Systems, which flagged the issue with Ford. Problems with testing led the supplier to a plastic flange holding the micro gas generator responsible for inflating the airbag in place. This flange may break when the airbag is activated, and this may interfere with the active vent flap. Over A Quarter Of Broncos Are Affected Source: Ford Of the 2,272 Broncos impacted by this recall, only 28% are expected to have the fault. Ford will begin sending interim notification letters on June 28. A second will be sent when the remedy is ready to be installed, but Ford has not provided an estimated timeline for when this will happen. Once the new parts are available, dealers will replace the airbag module at no cost to owners. As we've noted before, Ford has been working hard to overcome quality control issues, and there's still plenty to improve on, but at least this time, it doesn't appear to be something that Ford missed under its own roof. Happily, no warranty claims or customer complaints have been lodged, so the issue hasn't caused any serious damage yet. About the Author Sebastian Cenizo View Profile
