Kourtney Kardashian Faces Major Backlash After Bashing School System
While the Kardashian family is no stranger to controversy, Kourtney Kardashian is likely wishing she had phrased a comment a little bit differently during a recent appearance on her sister Khloé Kardashian's podcast. That's because her thoughts on the school system have a drawn a lot of ire from parents everywhere, which has cast a bit of an unflattering light on the mother of four.

Everything went down when the sisters were talking about living lives that are true to themselves, especially while raising kids. The 46-year-old explained a bit about what that could like like in her family, saying, "I think living authentically is not conforming to whatever it is," she said during the Khloé in Wonder Land recording. "There's ways we function as a family that… it's like if someone does the same thing every day. Like I do it with everything, it's not about our family."
The controversial moment came in the next breath, when Kardashian gave an example of what she meant.
"Like, let's say the school system. I'll think, 'Why do kids [expletive] go to school?' Truly. It's so dated." While her sister Koko immediately agreed, and even suggested that she planned to homeschool her two children True and Tatum, the internet was absolutely not on the same page as the famous sisters.
Her critics took to X, according to Hello! magazine, calling her out over the idea that she would homeschool. "She needs to home school her kids," one person wrote. "The question is will she do it or go hire a teacher."
Others called the comments both out of touch and outrageous.
Fortunately, the Kardashians have never put too much stock in the opinions of others, so it's likely that neither sister will even care that their comments ruffled any feathers.

"Prince Louis marked a significant departure from previous years," the outlet reported, while also stating that the royal's "choice breaks with a longstanding custom." King Charles also broke from tradition at Trooping the Colour by arriving in a carriage alongside Queen Camilla, instead of riding horseback. Nike delays the release of its new activewear line with Kim Kardashian
The eagerly anticipated collaboration between Kim Kardashian and Nike has delayed its launch. NikeSkims, which was announced in February for a spring release, is pushing back its launch date because of production delays, according to a source familiar with the situation. A new date hasn't been revealed. The collection is an extension of Kardashian's popular shapewear line and aimed at disrupting the 'global fitness and activewear industry with best-in-class innovation in service of all women athletes,' according to a previous press release. Few details about NikeSkims have been made available, including pricing and images. The webpage hasn't been updated since the original announcement. The Kardashian-backed collection with Skims is a first for Nike, which hasn't partnered with an outside company before to create a new brand. Instead, it has relied on acquisitions or tapping popular athletes (i.e. Michael Jordan) for apparel. Broadening the appeal of Nike is part of CEO Elliott Hill's plan to revive the troubled company, whose stock has dropped 20% this year. In recent years, the company has lost its competitive edge in the activewear category against Lululemon, Alo and even Old Navy. Nike recently announced hiked prices on some of its products, although it didn't mention higher US tariffs as the reason. The company said in a previous statement that 'we regularly evaluate our business and make pricing adjustments as part of our seasonal planning.' The company is also trying to recover from strategy mistakes. It is scaling back the supply of its classic sneaker lines Air Force 1 and Pegasus to juice demand in order to sell the sneakers at full prices. Nike also wants to push shoppers to buy higher-priced Air Max shoes designed for running. Nike (NKE) releases earnings next Thursday.
