What has turned completely different for the Pittsburgh Pirates is not the losses they have been facing, but issues related to players' injuries. Now, their pitcher, Jared Jones, is facing a setback in his recovery from a right elbow injury.
Jared Jones' ligament issue deepens
Jared Jones, 23, had strained a ligament in his elbow back in March and was slowly working his way back through a throwing program. At first, doctors said his elbow was stable, so the team had him rest for six weeks. He started throwing again in late April, and there was hope he could return after the All-Star break.
Now, he'll be reexamined on Tuesday to see what's going on.

At 4-foot-11, Kristin Chenoweth always wanted to play basketball. It never happened, but she still made it to the NBA Finals. The award-winning actress, singer, Oklahoma native, Oklahoma Hall of Fame inductee and unabashed Thunder fan sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" before Game 7 of the title series between the Thunder and the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night.
