In today's NBA, stars change teams at every trade deadline and free-agency period. As of June 3rd, the longest-tenured All-Stars in the league are Stephen Curry and Draymond Green with the Golden State Warriors. Giannis Antetokounmpo is close behind, having spent the first 12 seasons of his career with the Milwaukee Bucks.

However, Milwaukee could trade their star soon. According to Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski, he does not want to see the MVP finalist to demand a trade this summer.
After an ACL injury to Damian Lillard and another first-round playoff exit, experts expect Antetokounmpo to request a trade this summer. Teams around the league will line up to offer packages for the nine-time All-NBA selection.
However, Podziemski offered his thoughts on the situation. According to him, he much prefers players to stay with their original team for their entire career.
Podziemski grew up in Wisconsin and was a big Bucks fan as a kid. He spoke to Kay Adams on Tuesday's episode of Up and Adams about the rumors swirling around the superstar. To him, Antetokounmpo playing in another city just doesn't feel right.
'It's like Steph[en Curry] not playing for the Warriors,' Podziemski said about the Greek Freak changing teams. 'All guys who've cemented their legacy and what they're about in this league on one team, you never expect it to change.

'It's the same as Luka [Doncic] in Dallas. The whole world is shocked because of the player that he is, and you could see that they were building around him. It's like any star in the league that stays with one team. You expect them to be in one jersey, and anywhere else just doesn't seem right at all.'
Even though he is with the Warriors, Podziemski still has an affinity for his hometown. For him, his goal is to win a championship in Milwaukee for Golden State against the Bucks.
'It'd be pretty cool to win a championship in Milwaukee against them; that would be something cool,' Podziemski said. 'But I love Golden State. I love everything that they've invested in me despite having Hall of Famers all the time around me. It's pretty cool to be wanted as a young player.'
Podziemski and Antetokounmpo are at different points in their careers. However, if the young Warriors guard has his way, they will stay where they are and finish their careers with one team. Still, Milwaukee's superstar fits what the Warriors are looking for. Therefore, there is a world in which they are in the same deal.

Alex Caruso disses Lakers' 2020 championship: 'Now I got a real one'

Former Los Angeles Lakers guard Alex Caruso is an NBA champion once again. On Sunday, his Oklahoma City Thunder outlasted the Indiana Pacers in Game 7 of the NBA Finals and claimed the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Caruso was instrumental throughout the playoffs, just as he was when he won it all with the Lakers in 2020. His stats are usually modest, but he makes an impact that goes well beyond those numbers, not just on the defensive end but in multiple facets of the game. On Sunday, he scored 10 points and added three rebounds, three steals and one block in 32 minutes off the bench. As much as anyone, he has embodied a Thunder defense that people are calling historically great. Following Sunday's victory, Caruso seemed to throw shade at the ring he earned with the Purple and Gold inside of the Walt Disney World Resort bubble. 'Yeah, now I got a real one. Now nobody can say anything. Yeah, I think just because of the way the team is constructed now versus the team I had in 2020, like it was much harder with this team just because of the experience, right? And everybody talked about you need experience, win a championship, and you need this, that, and the other. And I said multiple times through the postseason with this team that the good basketball is good basketball, winning basketball is winning basketball. And the best team can win no matter what happens if you go out there and execute and do the stuff that you need to do to win the game. And I think through the playoffs, this team grew up and learned on the fly, which most teams have to learn through losses and learn through defeat. And I think this team learned through success.' Shai Gilgeous-Alexander completed a sensational season by being named the NBA Finals MVP. He had previously won the regular-season MVP and the scoring title, making him just the fourth player ever to attain all three accomplishments in the same season. Caruso was asked about Gilgeous-Alexander's potential to be the face of the NBA, just as LeBron James was or has been for many years. While he said Gilgeous-Alexander could be the face of the league, he stopped short of comparing the newly minted MVP to James. "Comparing to LeBron is a crazy start just 'cause LeBron was anointed at 18 years old and surpassed everything that has ever been put in front of him," Caruso said. "As far as face of the league and best player on best team, SGA's got that capability." Lakers fans have undoubtedly experienced withdrawal symptoms watching Caruso throughout the playoffs. He left L.A. in the summer of 2021 in free agency after the team unsuccessfully haggled with him over a couple of extra million dollars a year. It was one of several blunders by executive Rob Pelinka that offseason, which essentially dismantled the 2020 championship team and plunged the franchise into purgatory for most of the last four years.

Could Florida guard Walter Clayton Jr. fall to the Boston Celtics in the 2025 NBA draft?

Could Univeristy of Florida guard Walter Clayton Jr. fall to the Boston Celtics in the 2025 NBA draft? Clayton was the star of the eventual champion Gators in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, his clutch makes from beyond the arc helping to power UF to another national title. And while he may have some defensive warts, an older draft age, and a short stature going against his projected draft position, that might be good luck for Boston given they are selecting at Nos. 28 and 32 overall in the first and second round respectively. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 199 lbs., Clayton will need to get a bit stronger to survive at the NBA level. And with the maturity of a 22-year-old going for him, his age might not be so bad for a ball club like the Celtics looking for an immediate contributor. The hosts of the CLNS Media "First to the Floor" podcast, Jake Issenberg, Ben Vallis, and Wayne Spooney, took a closer look at Clayton on a recent episode of their show. Check it out below! Trade up for Dylan Harper? Pick Ace Bailey? Sixers will have options in 2025 NBA draft

The Philadelphia 76ers will have plenty of options in the 2025 NBA draft, which begins Wednesday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The Sixers moved up two spots during the lottery and netted the No. 3 overall pick, but they might look to move up or trade back before or during the draft. Here's what to know before the 2025 NBA draft. Could the Sixers trade up in the 2025 NBA draft? Sixers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey is no stranger to making trades. He's made several high-profile trades throughout his time in Philadelphia, including one on draft night in 2022 that landed guard De'Anthony Melton. Morey has never drafted as high as No. 3, but could he try to move up one spot and make a deal with the San Antonio Spurs? According to multiple reports by HoopsHype and Yahoo Sports, the Sixers "engaged" with the Spurs about trading up to No. 2 overall, which would likely be for Rutgers University guard Dylan Harper. NBA Insider Marc Stein also reported that the Sixers will most likely stay at No. 3 overall, but they're still trying to trade with the Spurs to take Harper. Stein added the Spurs are expected to stay put at No. 2, but things could change by draft night. Aaron J. Thornton / Getty Images Harper is ranked by draft analysts as the No. 2 prospect in the class behind Duke's Cooper Flagg. After those two, there's a drop-off with the rest of the prospects. Harper is the son of Ron Harper, who played 15 seasons in the NBA and won five championships. Sixers could just stay put at No. 3 overall Entering the draft, Morey said the Sixers would pick the best player available, and that's exactly what they could do by staying put at No. 3 overall. The Sixers don't need to trade up to get a talented prospect at No. 3 overall if Flagg and Harper go off the board with the first two selections as expected. The Sixers should have options like Rutgers forward Ace Bailey, Baylor guard VJ Edgecombe, Duke forward Kon Knueppel, Texas guard Tre Johnson and more on the board at No. 3 overall. VJ Edgecombe #7 of the Baylor Bears celebrates at the end of the second half in the first round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament against the Mississippi State Bulldogs at Lenovo Center. Jared C. Tilton / Getty Images The Sixers reportedly brought Edgecombe in for a workout and visit before the draft, and Knueppel said on "The Bill Simmons Podcast" last week that he had a virtual meeting scheduled with the Sixers. Bailey was scheduled to work out for the Sixers last week, but ESPN reported he canceled it. They've "zeroed in" on four prospects, according to HoopsHype, so it could make sense for one of them to fall to Philly at No. 3 overall and take the best player left on their board. Will the Sixers trade back in the 2025 NBA draft? The Sixers trading back in the 2025 NBA draft doesn't seem likely, but nothing should be off the table as Morey and the team work to become contenders for next season. One team the Sixers could make a deal with to trade back is the New Orleans Pelicans at No. 7 overall. In a mock draft on Yahoo Sports, one scenario had the Sixers trading back with the Pelicans for the No. 7 pick, Herb Jones, and a 2026 first-round pick in exchange for Kelly Oubre and the third overall pick. The Sixers then selected Duke center Khaman Maluach at No. 7 overall. A mock draft from The Athletic earlier this month had the Sixers making two trades to move back with the Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards to the No. 6 overall pick to select Knueppel. The mock draft had the Sixers picking up the No. 18 and No. 33 overall picks in the trades and getting off the Andre Drummond and Eric Gordon contracts.
