OGC Nice's Marcin Bulka unenthused by Galatasaray move
Marcin Bulka (25) looks highly likely to leave OGC Nice this summer. The Polish goalkeeper, a key player for Le Gym over the past two seasons, has been in talks over a contract renewal. However, towards the start of last season, those talks hit a brick wall. There has been a deadlock ever since, and there is little optimism over a renewal of talks.
Determined not to lose him on a free next summer, Nice are looking to sell Bulka during the ongoing transfer window. Initial interest in Le Gym's No.1 has come from Turkey and more specifically from Galatasaray, according to a report from L'Équipe.

However, the publication understands that Bulka himself is not particularly enthused by a move to the Turkish club, even if they will be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season. Galatasaray would be willing to spend €20m on the goalkeeper. Local rivals AS Monaco have also been cited as a potential destination by Foot Mercato.

Manchester City open to letting Ilkay Gündogan join Galatasaray
Galatasaray are considering a move for Ilkay Gündogan, with Manchester City open to a transfer for the 34-year-old midfielder. The Turkish club are believed to have inquired about Gündogan's availability in the winter window but City did not want him to leave midway through the season. But with Pep Guardiola having signed Nico González in February and Tijjani Reijnders in this window, with Rodri again fit after a serious knee injury and Mateo Kovacic expected back from an achilles problem in mid-September, game time for Gündogan may be limited. Advertisement Related: Manchester City fined £1m by Premier League over delayed kick-offs and restarts Although the one-year extension on Gündogan's contract was triggered towards the end of last season after he played a certain number of minutes, he may be allowed to leave without a fee. The German, whose parents were born in Turkey, is believed to have a desire to play for Galatasaray, the Super Lig champions. The former Germany international, who turns 35 in October, suggested he still had much to offer. 'There seems to be a trend at the moment in football where people are saying: 'This player is too old,' or: 'Another one cannot run any more.' But we always have had this in football. 'You need experienced players on the pitch. I know that when I was 18 or 19 I was looking up to those experienced players. Just by watching what they did – and how they did it – I learned. It wasn't always necessary for them to say anything. All young players need some experience around them. Sometimes you don't have to work harder but work smarter.'

Philipp Köhn says he is ready to ‘fight' for his place as Monaco search for a new goalkeeper
Philipp Köhn says he is ready to 'fight' for his place as Monaco search for a new goalkeeper AS Monaco are looking to sign a first-choice goalkeeper this summer. However, Philipp Köhn (27) has not given up hope of earning a place in the team, as he told L'Équipe. Monaco's CEO, Thiago Scuro, stated that the club would be in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer. It comes after a season in which the No.1 jersey was passed between Köhn and Radoslaw Majecki, without either goalkeeper truly convincing. Advertisement This has lead Les Monégasques to seek a recruit in this sector. As per L'Équipe, there are a range of targets from Chelsea's Djordje Petrović, to Manchester United's André Onana, to Barcelona's Marc-André Ter Stegen. However, for now, Monaco has yet to land their next No.1. Regardless of the Principality club's intentions in the transfer market, Köhn is ready to fight for his place next season. 'If they want to bring in a new goalkeeper, it is the club's decision. It is okay for me. I will fight for my place. I showed things this season,' said the Swiss goalkeeper. It is thought that the arrival of a new first-choice goalkeeper will lead to one of Majecki or Köhn leaving the club this summer. GFFN | Luke Entwistle
