Kendrick Lamar Performs 'Not Like Us' In Toronto, And The Crowd's Reaction May Surprise You
Kendrick Lamar has been busy on the road over the last few weeks on his Grand National Tour with SZA, and fans have been especially curious what he will do when the trek touches down in Drake's home city. Last night, they finally got their answer.
The GNX-supporting tour kicked off back in April of this year, so concertgoers had a good idea of which songs are part of K. Dot's setlist. The Toronto show went down as scheduled on Thursday (June 12) and will even circle back for round two on Friday (June 13). Lamar performed several Drizzy disses with the crowd rapping along to nearly every word.
'Euphoria,' one of the first few tracks from the summer 2024 rap beef, made its debut early in the evening and set the tone for what was to come. The Compton rapper also delivered 'Not Like Us,' his scathing chart-topping track where he calls Drake a pedophile, a colonizer, and more. When the now-viral 'A-minorrr' line was rapped, the attendees could be heard loudly singing along. View clips from the concert below.
Fans online expressed split opinions about the footage, with people claiming Kendrick is 'milking' the moment and others saying the reaction isn't surprising and laughing along. 'Some people are from out of town but this is wild but expected,' one user wrote on X. 'What were people expecting to happen? Kendrick fans are singing Kendrick songs,' typed another. On Instagram, a top comment read, 'How are we still talking about not like us in June 2025' as another user echoed, 'Bro milking it so hard.'
Speaking of shows in Canada, Top Dawg Entertainment artist SiR recently spoke about his Toronto show getting mysteriously cancelled last year and insinuated the Kendrick-Drake beef was the reason.
'So the venue in Toronto, which was partially owned by Drake, cancelled the show completely,' the singer revealed to the crowd last week in a now-viral clip. 'Then when we tried to switch venues, the next venue was like, 'Nah we ain't f**cking with it, I ain't taking no motherf**cking chance.'' He citied 'complications' that were 'too close to home for a lot of people.'

Sydney Sweeney Reacts to Leaked ‘Euphoria' Wedding Dress Photos: 'I Can't Confirm or Deny' Cassie Gets Married
The third season of Euphoria is underway, but Sydney Sweeney isn't dishing out too many details about her character Cassie's fate quite yet. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, on Thursday, the Echo Valley actress shared minuscule details about the upcoming season of the HBO Max series. However, Sweeney reacts to a leaked image of her on set in a wedding dress. More from The Hollywood Reporter 'Echo Valley' Review: Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney Star in Apple TV+'s Satisfyingly Tense Domestic Thriller Mikey Madison in Talks to Star in A24's Out-There Reimagining of Edgar Allan Poe's 'Masque of the Red Death' (Exclusive) Sydney Sweeney's 'Split Fiction' From Jon M. Chu in Talks to Land at Amazon MGM When presented with the photo of herself in bridal attire on the set of Euphoria, Fallon asked Sweeney if her character gets married. 'Um,' Sweeney started. 'I can't confirm or deny.' Then, the Anyone but You star quipped, 'Who knows, that could be AI,' to which Fallon joked, 'No, it can't.' Sweeney did say she'd 'love to' dish the scoop on the scene 'next time when I [come back to the show and] can actually say everything.' Despite not being able to share details on her character's potential wedding, what fans speculate is with Jacob Elordi's Nate, the two-time Emmy nominee confirmed that 'Cassie is crazy' in season three and 'she's even worse' than seasons prior. This wasn't the first time Sweeney revealed that her character in Cassie would be 'crazier' than before. In a interview with Empire magazine, she said that season three of Euphoria was 'unhinged' while raving about her love for the role. 'I have such a spot in my heart for Cassie, and I hold her really close and dear. She is crazy. She makes so many mistakes. She's flawed on so many levels, but she does it all from a place of love. It could be a sad version of love, as well,' Sweeney said. 'It's so much fun to play a character that is as crazy as she is. Sam [Levinson] is such a brilliant filmmaker to work with, because I'll read something, then I'll call him, and I'm like, 'Let's go crazier.' And he's like, 'I'm all in.' And this season is unhinged.' Notably, Euphoria season two aired in early 2022. Production on the long-awaited third season picked up in January 2025, though it's unclear when the new installment will actually arrive on the streamer. Even if season three arrives in January 2026, as suspected, there will still have been four years between the most recent season, creating a demand for new episodes. Eric Dane Speaks Out on ALS Diagnosis: 'I Don't Think This is The End of My Story'
Eric Dane sat down with Good Morning America's Diane Sawyer for what marks his first television interview since revealing his ALS diagnosis in April. 'I wake up every day and I'm immediately reminded that this is happening,' Dane tells Sawyer in a teaser clip posted by GMA on Thursday morning, to which Sawyer replies, 'It's not a dream.' Dane confirms that it is not a dream and he really is facing the brutal reality of ALS, which is often referred to as one of the most cruel diseases one can face. More from The Hollywood Reporter Eric Dane Reveals He's Been Diagnosed With ALS George Stephanopoulos Inks New Deal With ABC News Elizabeth Banks Credits "Guardian Angel" for Saving Her Life During Choking Incident on 'Skincare' Set The brief 30-second clip also finds Dane expressing optimism by saying, 'I don't think this is the end of my story. I don't feel like this is the end of me.' Judging by the teaser, it appears to be a powerful conversation as it shows Sawyer and Dane holding hands at one point, and Dane breaking down in tears at another. Some of the footage also features the two walking down the street on a sunny day. When he revealed his diagnosis two months back, Dane said, 'I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter. I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to set of Euphoria next week. I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time.' It's unclear if he's already wrapped his role as Cal Jacobs for the third season of the critically acclaimed HBO Max series. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, better known as ALS and Lou Gehrig's disease, is a progressive neurological disease that is always fatal. It causes nerve cells to gradually break down and die, and eventually all muscles are affected, leading to full paralysis while the mind still is active. Life expectancy depends on the type of ALS one is diagnosed though the typical average is two to five years. While there is no cure, there have been recent medical advancements, including new medications, to fight the disease. Sawyer's full interview with Dane is scheduled to air on Good Morning America at 7 a.m. ET on Monday, June 16.
