Amazon Prime fans rush to binge 'best series ever' that went under the radar
Amazon Prime Video viewers have rushed to binge a new coming-of-age drama series after its biggest fans begged for a second season.
Motorheads, a 10-part series, dropped last month and follows the story of a group of young petrolheads and racers who live in the hard-knock Pennsylvania rustbelt.
A mixture of The Fast and the Furious and The Summer I Turned Pretty, Motorheads has landed a respectable 75% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
The series stars teen drama icon Ryan Phillippe, of Cruel Intentions infamy, playing a former NASCAR mechanic turned struggling auto body shop owner.
'Motorheads is about first love, first heartbreak, and turning the key in your first car,' reads the official show synopsis from Prime Video.
And that's been enough for some fans to already be convinced that, despite flying under the radar, Motorheads might be one of their favourite shows of all time.
On Google Reviews, Shawna said: 'This is one of the best series I've seen come out in a while! Absolutely loved this show! Left all my other shows for this one and binged Motorheads!'
Shannon agreed: 'One of the best new shows I have seen in years! Each actor does a great job. It has a great storyline that is suspenseful, interesting, drama, edge of your seat racing and character driven.'
User @EternalFlame said: 'Please watch it. I have watched hundreds of shows and movies, and none have ever made me feel this many emotions! This is the best show or movie I have ever watched by a mile.'

Mya begged not just for one more season, but several more: 'Ahhhhh, I love this show so so much please renew it for at least four seasons.'
Ryan Phillippe is joined in the Motorheads castlist by Nathalie Kelley, Never Have I Ever star Michael Cimino, and Melissa Collazo to make an ensemble cast of grease monkeys.
All 10 episodes are available to binge on the streaming platform, and many fans have already finished the whole thing. Some have took to X to demand a follow-up season.
One viewer even went so far as to threaten cancelling her Prime subscription entirely if the show isn't renewed for season two.
@AGeorge43838 tagged Amazon's official MGM Studios account and wrote: 'I swear you better have a season 2 of Motorheads. Ryan Phillippe and crew have hit GOLD. The show is awesome.
'Also, if there isn't a season 2 I'm cancelling my prime!' More Trending
Many said the finale cliffhanger had left them desperate for more of the drama. @JMorgynWhite wrote: 'My god the cliffhanger on Motorheads was unacceptable without a Season 2 on the track – there is a Season 2 coming, right Prime Video?? Repeat after me 100% binge worthy.'
@SaishaStar tweeted: 'Please let there be a Season 2 that was a crazy cliffhanger and I need some answers on the backstory of Christian Maddox. So many Questions!'
@Riss286 demanded: 'RENEW Motorheads FOR SEASON 2 PLEASE!!!'

Has We Were Liars been renewed for Season 2? Here's what we know:
Summary We Were Liars is the latest Amazon Prime Video Original. This psychological thriller has everything from family drama and betrayals to teen angst and memory loss. Amazon Prime Video determines whether to renew a show based on various factors such as completion rate, viewership numbers, production costs, and more. As of now, there's no news regarding the renewal of We Were Liars, but we look at the possibility of a Season 2. We Were Liars is another exciting Amazon Prime Video Original that graced our screens in May 2025. With complex themes of manipulation, privilege, memory loss and burying weaknesses, it's for those who are fans of thriller dramas. The 8-episode show stars Emily Alyn Lind, Shubham Maheshwari, Esther McGregor, Joseph Zada and more. Based on the book of the same name by E. Lockhart, it is helmed by CW regulars, Julie Plec and Carina Adly Mackenzie. With bittersweet moments and plot twists, the season finale will have viewers on the edge of their seats. If you've watched the first season and want to know if there will be a second, this article has all the details you're looking for. Here's everything we know: What is We Were Liars Season 1 about? We Were Liars begins in Summer 17 with an amnesiac Cadence Sinclair trying to recall why she washed up on the beach of her summer house on Beechwood Island, injured and naked, a year ago. The Liars, comprising Gat and her cousins, Johnny and Mirren, were her best friends but haven't spoken to her all year. Desperate to figure out what went down and who is responsible, Cady heads back to Beechwood for answers. Summer 16 is happy, carefree and perfect, that is till Cady starts noticing all that is wrong with her rich and privileged family, the Sinclairs. Her mom and her aunts' sibling rivalry gets worse as they vie for the biggest slice of the inheritance. Her grandparents pit their children against each other to prove themselves. Gat seems to have gotten hot but also conscious of the Sinclairs' prejudice. And Johnny is hiding something that is more than just a kiss gone wrong. We have extensive coverage of We Were Liars Season 1 on the site, including recaps for all episodes. You can find those HERE! Has We Were Liars Been Renewed for Season 2? At the time of writing, Amazon Prime Video hasn't renewed We Were Liars for a Season 2. Amazon tends to look at views and the drop-off rates before renewing or cancelling the show, along with the critical success. Some shows are instantly renewed like Reacher or Fallout while others take years such as THEM and Upload. Popular Amazon Prime Originals do get renewals most of the time but only time will tell if We Were Liars will get a Season 2. But with the novel's prequel, 'Family of Liars' being acquired by Amazon as well, it seems like the studio is interested in renewing the show. What do we know about We Were Liars Season 2? Not much is known about We Were Liars Season 2 at the moment, given that it has not been greenlit. There are two ways it can go. If it is a prequel, it will follow 'Family of Liars'. Some of the novel's premise has already been set up in Season 1 with the mention of Rosemary, the dead fourth Sinclair sister, Carrie's addiction and plastic surgery, her friend, Yardley, Bess' apathy at Rosemary's death and Penny's sinister participation in whatever happened when they were 16. If it is a sequel, there is ample scope for that as well as Season 1 ends with Johnny getting stuck on Beechwood. If the show does return, you can expect a season with approximately 8 episodes, each lasting around an hour. Nothing is confirmed yet, but we'll be sure to update this page as soon as any new information comes in. Would you like to see We Were Liars return for a second season? Or do you think the story has run its course? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Death in Paradise star's forgotten sitcom on Prime Video and he's unrecognisable
A Channel 4 sitcom, starring a Death in Paradise favourite, is now trending on Prime Video despite having been released over a decade ago A sitcom featuring Ardal O'Hanlon that originally aired over a decade ago has found new popularity on Prime Video. London Irish, which first graced Channel 4 in 2013, boasts a star-studded cast including Death in Paradise's Ardal O'Hanlon and Derry Girls' Peter Campion. The show centres around a group of Belfast expats navigating life in London. The series was the brainchild of Lisa McGee, the creative force behind Derry Girls. Despite only running for six episodes and Channel 4 deciding against a second season, London Irish has found renewed interest. Now available on Prime Video, the show has been given the 'trending now' label, demonstrating its enduring appeal 12 years after its initial release. The cast also features Sinéad Keenan, known for her role in Unforgotten, Game of Thrones actor Ker Logan, No Offence's Tracey Lynch, and Kat Reagan, reports Wales Online. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the creator and star of BBC's Fleabag, also makes a guest appearance in London Irish, portraying a character named Steph in one episode. The synopsis for London Irish reads: "Conor and Bronagh are twenty-something siblings from Northern Ireland who, along with friends Packy and Niamh, are trying to make their way through London life. "The foursome find navigating the big city challenging, particularly as they're playing by their own unique set of rules, leading to all sorts of mischief. "Conor is highly unpredictable and tends to just go with unbelievable things that tend to happen to him while his older sister, Bronagh, is the opposite of him - cynical, dark and fierce. Self-confident Niamh is ambitious and can be ruthless when she doesn't get what she wants. "Packy is the closest thing the group has to a parental figure and tries to keep the others in line but often gets dragged into their madness." Ardal, who portrays Chris in the sitcom, first gained recognition in Father Ted before joining BBC One's Death in Paradise as DI Jack Mooney. He left the popular drama series in 2020, but recently appeared in spin-off series Return to Paradise. His character featured remotely as part of a storyline with DI Mackenzie Clarke (Anna Samson).
