Reasons behind Florent Ghisolfi's Roma exit
Serie A side Roma will part ways with sporting director Florent Ghisolfi soon and the decision has come rather abruptly from the Friedkins, who are no strangers to making those.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have explored the situation and they speak of the reasons behind the Frenchman's exit from the Stadio Olimpico.

They believe that tensions were lingering at the club due to the situation of Mile Svilar, whose contract situation was being delayed. While the farewell took place by mutual agreement, the goalkeeper's renewal proved to be the last straw for the Friedkins.
The newspaper claim that Ghisolfi had a strained relationship with many agents – including those of Alexis Saelemaekers. The ownership wanted to cash in on the sale of Angelino and the failure to do has fallen on Ghisolfi's shoulders.
More than that, there were issues regarding the renewals of many Primavera players. These issues emerged in a clear video call involving the parties and the Friedkins learned that only Claudio Ranieri's intervention was making sure of Svilar's renewal.
A solution was reached early in the morning and CFO Lorenzo Vitali was the one to show Ghisolfi the door, with Ricky Massara in pole position to replace the Frenchman.

Sunken Bayesian superyacht lifted off seabed
Ten months after the luxury superyacht Bayesian sank off the coast of Sicily in a sudden storm, salvage crews have managed to lift it 50 meters (164 feet) from the seabed Friday afternoon, the company running the $30 million recovery operation said. The superyacht was scheduled to be lifted over the weekend, but salvage crews from TMC Marine said the process went faster than anticipated. The 56 meter (184-foot) superyacht went down in less than a minute when hurricane force winds swept through the area on August 19, 2024. Seven people, including British tech tycoon Mike Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah, died. Fifteen people survived, including Lynch's wife, whose company owns the $40 million vessel, the ship's captain and all but one crew member. This is a developing story and will be updated.
