Chivu said that Calhanoglu is 'always involved.'
'He's a little worried about his injury. He's trying to recover as best he can.'
'And as far as the transfer market, I haven't had the chance to speak with him about it,' said the Inter coach.
'And I don't know what's true or not,' Chivu admitted.
'But what I see is that he's participating fully with the group.'
'He's trying to recover as quickly as possible to make himself available to the team,' added the Inter coach.

Morton looks to England to repair damaged confidence

Tyler Morton is repairing his confidence with the England Under-21s after the toughest season of his career. The Liverpool midfielder has helped the Young Lions reach the semi-finals of Euro 2025 after Saturday's 3-1 win over Spain. Advertisement Morton, though, will miss Wednesday's meeting with the Netherlands in Bratislava after collecting his second yellow card of the tournament. International success would come off the back of a frustrating campaign for the 22-year-old, who did not make a Premier League appearance as Liverpool won the title. He was restricted to just five appearances in cup competitions under Arne Slot. Morton said: "When you're not playing, your confidence gets shut down a little bit. So, it's nice to come back and play here and play with unbelievable footballers, unbelievable youngsters. "It's been the toughest season mentally for me. Obviously, I've coped with it very well because I've got good people around me, but it's been very tough. I think I've coped with it as well as I possibly could. Advertisement "I think when you're not playing as a footballer who's as hungry as I am, it does hurt. It's tough, especially when, in my opinion, I wanted to go out and I wanted to play and I wanted to go on loan and get my game time. "But having chatted with the manager, having to stay, it could have worked out a lot worse than it did. It probably could have worked out a lot better than it did." Under-21 and Liverpool team-mate Harvey Elliott made just two league starts last season - and has admitted he needs to consider his future at Anfield - while Jarell Quansah only started four league games. Liverpool opted to keep Morton after Middlesbrough had a bid rejected in February but he has kept an open mind about the campaign. Advertisement "Yes, the minutes have been very limited for all of us youngsters this year," he said. "But there's different playing styles with different managers. Yes, it's been a learning season. I think you've got to have these types of seasons where you're trying to learn."

Florian Wirtz deal forces €80m forward to Saudi Arabia

Diaz tipped for Liverpool exit Although Wirtz is an attacking midfielder by trade, the player tends to drift left. That will lessen the need for an out-and-out wide man like Diaz. Combine the Wirtz deal with the arrival of Milos Kerkez - an attack-minded left-back - and you can see how Diaz might be squeezed out of Arne Slot's first-team plans. Advertisement And there's also Diaz's contract to consider. The Colombia international is out of contract in 2027, currently earning a reported £55k per week. Following his excellent campaign, Diaz might feel like he's entitled to a bumper pay rise. So far however, sporting director Richard Hughes has refused to sanction it. With Diaz's terms ticking down, it means Liverpool might well be tempted to cash in if a decent offer arrives. It's clear that Barcelona won't come up with the requisite amount - said to be €80m - which leaves Saudi Arabian sides in the equation. © IMAGO Liverpool back away from Diaz talks Al-Nassr are reportedly keen on Diaz and it's likely that the player ends up in the Saudi Pro League as soon as this summer. That's according to a new report from TBR Football - which suggests Liverpool have WALKED AWAY from Diaz's contract talks. Advertisement 'Liverpool have backed away from contract talks with Diaz,' the report reads. 'The Colombian will move to Saudi Arabia.' Of the left-wing position: "Wirtz will end up playing there," the report reads. They've got Gakpo as well." Trent Alexander-Arnold and Caoimhin Kelleher have already departed while Jarell Quansah is soon expected to go.
