Dallas Mavericks Hosting NBA Draft Watch Party
The Dallas Mavericks will host an NBA Draft watch party on June 25 at 5:30 p.m. as the franchise selects first overall for just the second time in history.
This event will be held at American Airlines Center and will feature play-by-play announcer Mark Followill, commentator Jeff 'Skin' Wade, and ESPN analyst Ted Emrich hosting 'The MavsTV Draft Show,' according to Mike Curtis.

Multiple exclusive guests are also expected to appear on this show, including Mavericks legends Rolando Blackman, Nick Van Exel, Josh Howard, Mark Aguirre, who was selected first overall by the franchise in 1981, and Dallas Wings first overall pick Paige Bueckers in 2025.
While the doors of this event will open at 5:30 p.m., the event will begin at 6 p.m. before the NBA Draft kicks off at 7 p.m.
Fans looking to purchase tickets to the Mavericks' watch party can visit Mavs.com/draft, with the first 5,000 fans receiving commemorative Draft Day t-shirts.
Tickets to this event will also include open seating, free parking, and access to concession deals, activities, and giveaways.

This event will feature the Mavericks selecting the top overall prospect in the NBA Draft, with many expecting the franchise to draft Duke freshman Cooper Flagg.
Flagg is widely regarded as one of the best NBA prospects in recent memory, leading the Blue Devils to the Final Four while averaging 19.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
These performances helped Flagg win the Oscar Robertson Trophy for the National Player of the Year while also being named the Wayman Tisdale Award National Freshman Player of the Year.
Flagg will team up with Mavericks forward Anthony Davis and guard Kyrie Irving, who is expected to miss the majority of the season as he recovers from a torn ACL.
However, Dallas must continue to add to this roster to compete for an NBA Championship next season, with an additional playmaking guard standing out as the biggest need for the team moving forward, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.

NEW YORK — New York Yankees right-hander Clarke Schmidt has held the Baltimore Orioles hitless through six innings Saturday. Schmidt threw 29 pitches in the first inning, when he issued consecutive walks to Jordan Westburg and Gunnar Henderson.
