Monday's episode of Coronation Street saw Mick Michaelis go on a furious rampage after finding out 16-year-old Brody might not be his biological son.
Mick turned violent as he demanded answers from wife Lou Michaelis about her past with their former pal, Kit Green.
Corrie viewers got an upsetting insight into Lou's domestic abuse from Mick - which left the residents on the cobbles worried for Lou's safety.
Meanwhile, Craig Tinker was determined to prove himself on the first day of his CID training.
He pulled over Mick at the Weatherfield Precinct for drink-driving.
Hellbent on getting revenge on Kit, Mick violently attacked Craig with a bat and left him for dead.
Wednesday's episode of the ITV soap will see Craig rushed to hospital and desperately try to make his police colleagues aware of who was responsible for attacking him.
Craig Tinker actor Colson Smith said: "I can't wait for people to see Craig's final scenes. It is exactly the exit I wanted for him and we are all really proud of what we filmed in those final weeks.
"It was actually great fun. I was walking around covered in fake blood for days and I was chuffed that I got to work with so many brilliant people in this final storyline."
Coronation Street's Colson Smith reveals which cobbles icon he filmed his final scenes with
Back in March, The Sun revealed how Colson's character Craig would be killed off in a dramatic storyline.
A source told us: "Craig has grown up on the street and he's become part of it so it was a tough decision to make but one that will be worth it.
"PC Tinker will meet his maker in heroic circumstances this summer and there won't be a dry eye in the house when it goes out.
"Colson is taking it well and there's a real feeling that this chapter is closing for him and there are bigger and brighter things ahead."
The 26-year-old actor was one of several stars who have been axed from the ITV soap.
Corrie is gearing up for a number of exits for some iconic characters this summer, including Eileen Grimhshaw is set to exit the cobbles with actress Sue Cleaver quitting the soap after an incredible 25 years.
The soap has already seen several characters depart the cobbles from the likes of Daisy Midgeley to Mason Radcliffe.
Coronation Street is facing a financial crisis due to soaring production costs, a decline in advertising revenue, and a drop in viewing figures, leading to budget cuts and cast departures.
Consequently, ITV is reducing the length of both Coronation Street and Emmerdale episodes from hour-long to 30-minute installments, starting in January 2026.
This change will create a "soaps power hour" where Emmerdale airs at 8pm, followed by Coronation Street at 8:30pm each weeknight.
But with ratings falling and viewers switching to streamers like Netflix, soap stars are fearing the axe - should they be worried?
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX.

EastEnders' Samantha Womack's final decision over baby with Emmerdale partner

EXCLUSIVE: Samantha Womack was diagnosed with breast cancer in August last year, and now the former EastEnders star reveals how her and partner Oliver's decision for having a baby Chatting from her home in Spain's Valencia mountains, with only her rescue dogs for company, former EastEnders actress Samantha Womack couldn't sound happier. The 52-year-old underwent gruelling treatment for breast cancer after being diagnosed in August 2022, but says she now believes the experience has changed her outlook on life for the better. Last year, the actress, who is already mum to Benjamin, 24, and Lili-Rose, 20, her children with her ex-husband Mark Womack, hinted she and Oliver were considering becoming parents together. ‌ 'We've talked about adopting, because after the cancer treatment I wouldn't be able to conceive naturally and because of my age,' she says. ‌ 'But I think I'm learning to put things in perspective and hopefully, in the next 10 years, one of my kids will produce a sproglet and I can go from maternal to gra-ternal!' The pair starred together in the play The Girl on the Train, which began touring in 2019. Later, they realised their friendship had blossomed into romance. The couple were brought even closer together when Sam was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2022. She is now free of the disease, but Oliver recalls:"It sort of changes your outlook and makes you possibly appreciate what you've got a bit more and maybe live your life a bit more as well." Sam had only gone in for a routine check but Oliver cannot imagine what would have happened if she hadn't. "That really saved us," he says. The way Sam handled her ordeal made Oliver even more in awe of her. "She wanted to get through everything and get back on stage as quickly as possible," he says. "She's a real fighter, and she won't let things get in her way. But, she was just so brave and eloquent speaking about what's she's been through and gracious." ‌ The couple first shared a fleeting encounter courtesy of Oliver's then Corrie co-star Les Dennis. Les had just left the ITV soap after becoming Pat Phelan's first victim, Michael Rodwell. He had invited Oliver to see him in the stage production of The Addams Family in which he was co-starring with Sam. "I was meant to see it, but I was on a night shoot," says Oliver. "But I was walking past the theatre to say hi to him and Sam was there too. I said, 'Hi, nice to meet you' and that was it! "We properly met on The Girl on the Train. The play was only meant to be six months but then it went on for another six months. We actually worked together for pretty much the whole year and we became really good friends. And we just stayed in touch afterwards really." The couple clearly share an amazing relationship judging by the sweet posts Sam has shared on social media. Oliver is equally smitten, not least by his partner's acting ability. "Sam was absolutely brilliant in The Girl on the Train," he says. "She was on stage for the whole two hours. It was a very big performance."

Benidorm return 'in crisis' after Derren Litten's divorce from star Jake Canuso

As rumours about a new series of much-loved comedy Benidorm continue, it has been reported that Derren Litten and Jake Canuso's separation is adding extra complications The return of iconic show Benidorm has been thrown into crisis after creator Derren Litten 'miserable' divorce from the show's biggest star Jake Canuso, it has been claimed. The couple called it quits in 2023 and things are between the producer and the actor - Lothario Matteo in the ITV comedy - are said to be tense. With talks about a return of the much-loved programme still possible, the news comes as a hammer blow to fans. ‌ Benidorm aired for ten series from 2007 until 2018. The show focuses on an all-inclusive hotel in Spain where the same family holiday each year. It featured the likes of Johnny Vegas, Tim Healy, Steve Pemberton, Siobhan Finneran and icid-tongued force of nature Madge, played brilliantly by veteran Sheila Reid. ‌ All left before the final series, throwing a return for any of the big names into doubt. That means stars like long-serving Jake were key to getting a revival off the ground, but the situation between the slippery barman and creator Derren makes things difficult, it has been reported. The pair officially divorced last year after living together in Benidorm. They even opened a bar called 'Matteo's' where Jake would turn up for guest appearances. Derren said on X last year: 'I don't really talk about my personal life here but the reason I've been a bit scarce on the socials is for the last 18 months I've been going through a pretty miserable divorce. So I'm obviously poor now. And you thought we couldn't have more in common then we already do?!' A source told The Sun. 'Matteo is Benidorm, he's the character that everyone wants to see. He's been part of the Solana since the beginning so for him not to feature in any future reboot, well it just would not be the same without him. Jake created one of the show's most loved characters in Matteo but with everything that's happened between him and Derren, it's not looking good.' Another insider said: 'Conversations have been had. The only way Jake will return is if ITV make him a huge offer, one that he could not possibly turn down. But obviously Derren is making negotiations difficult. He is the writer and creator and believes that he should make all the decisions - the fans would want to see Matteo, which ITV get. It's all become one big headache.' A spokesperson for Jake told the publication they were unaware of any planned return for Benidorm. But all-grown-up Oliver Stokes - who played Michael Garvey since the first show - recently appeared on Loose Women, alongside Hannah Hobley, who played mum-to-Coolio Chantelle. ‌ Oliver was looked after by his grandparents while on set in Benidorm playing the cheeky youngster who ran amok around the Solana Hotel pool. "I had to do a minimum of three hours of schooling a day, which was an absolute bonus," he joked. "But in a way, it wasn't really the best because I didn't really pay attention or do much work. Oh well, it was an experience." Oliver has now taken a step back from acting and works as a successful tradesman, explaining, "It got to a point where I just thought I wanted an income every month guaranteed, instead of not knowing when your next job is going to come. "I'd love to get back into the future if the right thing came about but who knows?" Aside from keeping busy with his toddler Archie, he is also an avid fisherman and runs a fish bait company called Active Baits. Hannah began by saying the show had received so much "love and support" over the rumours, adding: "At the moment, they are just rumours." The studio audience broke out into a chorus of disappointed sighs, with Charlene then revealing she had a statement from ITV regarding the return of Benidorm in the future. "ITV say, 'We've spoken to one of our sources over here and there's nothing commissioned yet, but we'll keep our fingers crossed'," she announced, giving everyone some hope.

Love Island star reveals ‘raunchy' scenes that viewers aren't being shown on screen

From chats about threesomes to secret snogs, and one boy's confession that he'd slept with a whole women's football team, the 2025 series has been far from dull. And 34-year-old Cara confessed that there will be a lot going on that we as the viewers don't see at home. Speaking on behalf of Genting Casino, she said: 'The things that came out in our series, I don't even think I can say! So on this series, there must be so much more they're saying that they're not even showing us. 'In fact, there are things they probably can't show us, because it's just a group of young people talking and having a laugh. We'd all do the same, wouldn't we?' Cara also spoke about the pressure the Islanders will be feeling, and how it feels like you've been in the villa for a lot longer than you actually have. She said: 'It's so hard because obviously I've been in there and the public haven't been in there, so they don't understand what it's like. 'Once you're coupled up with someone, you kind of feel safe. I think this year especially, they want to be coupled up because it makes them feel safer as they're just letting people go left, right and centre.' She also said Meg's behaviour towards Malisha in the Dejon love triangle 'wasn't right,' but defended her by adding: 'I understand why people's reactions are sometimes so big because you're just in a bubble. 'We watch the show for an hour and then go away and we have our normal life, but for everyone in there, that is literally all that consumes their day. They've got no contact with the outside world and can't move away from these situations.' 'Most sex-obsessed Love Islander ever' called out by fans after making shock claim And things are only about to get even more dramatic in the villa, with four new bombshells heading in and going straight for a saucy sleepover. Lobe Island's four new bombshells have already left the villa in the series' latest chaotic twist - but they've not gone far, and they're not alone. The Sun can reveal the newbies have taken four OG's with them to the Casa Amor villa for a sleepover. Last summer, the same twist saw Joey Essex and Grace Jackson hook up in steamy scenes - and producers are hoping for more of the same from 2025's Islanders. Whilst we are keeping shtum on which of the OGs are selected for the saucy stopover, we can reveal that their choices leave their partners' losing their heads back at the main villa. A source said: 'The saucy sleepover worked brilliantly last year and bosses felt now was the perfect time to deploy the same cheeky twist. 'Dejon and Meg have just made up, Tommy and Megan and Conor and Emily are wavering, and everyone else is scrambling for a connection. 'The bombshells aren't playing it safe though and their choices make for brilliant TV.' NEW BOMBSHELLS The Sun earlier revealed the four new bombshells who are fresh on Love Island The first is Giorgio Russo, who is football champion Alessia Russo's brother. The half Italian hunk is known as Gio and, just like his England Women's and Arsenal champion sis, he's big into his fitness. Yet his villa entrance may well mean he will miss Alessia's stint in the Women's Euro's 2025, which kicks off on July 2. The other lad is Will Means, who will be more than a rival for Gio in the gym. He competes in Hyrox world championship races and has even done an Ironman. The boys are joined by two stunning girls. The Sun had already revealed that gorgeous blonde Poppy Harrison had flown out to Mallorca ready for romance, and now she's in the villa. She has set foot in the ITV2 matchmaking show compound after only calling time on her latest relationship last week. Last but not least is Caprice Alexandra, who looks to be another travel bunny. Her Instagram is filled with curvy bikini snaps from the likes of Mauritius and Morocco. 6 Cara and Nathan won the hit dating show in 2016 Credit: Rex 6 There's been a lot of snogging this series Credit: Eroteme
