Molly Gordon reacted to the viral photos of her kissing her The Bear co-star Jeremy Allen White last September in a new interview with Vanity Fair
The actors play love interests Claire Dunlap and Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto, respectively, on the series
Gordon said it's been "at times annoying, fascinating and interesting — just to be a part of something that people have opinions on" regarding the onscreen romanceMolly Gordon is sharing her reaction to those viral photos of her kissing her The Bear co-star, Jeremy Allen White.
The Booksmart and Theater Camp actress, 29, avoided addressing the liplocked snaps directly when asked about them by Vanity Fair, only saying, "With the internet, I just think — I even see it in myself as a fan of things — we're just a more judgmental society."
Gordon joined season 2 of The Bear as Claire Dunlap, the childhood sweetheart of White's Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto. The two pursue a relationship after a chance meet-cute in the grocery store, but are currently not together in the series.
However, last September, the co-stars were photographed kissing in Los Angeles, arms wrapped around each other as the embraced and shared a kiss.
A month later, Gordon and White, 34, were spotted stepping out for dinner in New York City's West Village.
After the PDA photos, a source told PEOPLE there were on-set rumors that the co-stars "had intense chemistry even when not filming" but that they had only recently started "exploring their chemistry" in real life.
The source added that White "really seems into" Gordon.
Elsewhere in her Vanity Fair interview, Gordon opened up about how she was cast on The Bear. Having previously met creator Christopher Storer, she said she signed up for the restaurant drama only knowing she'd be playing a doctor — not that she'd be Carmy's love interest, whom he affectionately calls "Claire Bear."
"I'm always 'the friend,' " she said. "I've never played the romantic person. I was like, 'Whoa, this is going to be a different experience.' "
Gordon said White's protagonist "is a character that people feel so protective over, and it's been kind of controversial to bring a romantic element into the show."
"That's been at times annoying, fascinating and interesting — just to be a part of something that people have opinions on," she added.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Hold Hands While Leaving NYC Restaurant After Sweet Date Night

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have thrilled fans thanks to another sweet date night sighting. The couple, both 35, stepped out in New York City on Friday, June 20 and were snapped holding hands while leaving a restaurant following their outing. In footage shared via a fan account, Swift and Kelce were seen exiting what appeared to be a back exit of the venue, while an employee held the door open for them. Kelce shook the employee's hand before departing. Dressing for the summer heat, the 'Bad Blood' singer wore a pale blue tank top matched with a floaty, dusty pink skirt for the occasion, while the Kansas City Chiefs tight end opted for all-white attire, rocking a matching T-shirt and shorts. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Spotted During Their 2nd New York City Date in a Row Similar to many of their previous date nights, Swift and Kelce didn't seem to be afraid of subtle public displays of affection and sweetly held hands while on the move. The spotting is the latest in a spate of outings for the pair, who have been enjoying quality time together following an incredibly busy period in their respective careers. Last week, the athlete and pop star attended the Stanley Cup Finals in Sunrise, Florida on June 12. During the game, fans captured Swift and Kelce sharing a kiss and packing on the PDA as they watched the Edmonton Oilers face off against the Florida Panthers. Swift and Kelce also attended a wedding in Tennessee and were spotted enjoying each other's company on several other date nights at restaurants earlier this month. While they have emerged this month for their recent public date nights, Kelce and Swift had been deliberately lying low after they both experienced a jam-packed year. Swift wrapped up her Eras Tour in December 2024 while Kelce played the Super Bowl in February, losing to the Philadelphia Eagles. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Pack on the PDA at Stanley Cup Game With a Touching Kiss An insider exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month that the duo were staying out of the spotlight intentionally. 'They are making fewer public appearances together because [their relationship] brings too much unwanted attention,' the source told Us on June 4, 'but there isn't trouble in paradise.' In February, the athlete's dad, Ed Kelce, shared his two cents on how he thought his son's relationship with Swift would progress once both their schedules were clear. 'I think, you know, once we get past the Super Bowl, I think it's going to be a very good period of time for the two of them,' he told Australia's Today show. 'Without the NFL season, without the Eras tour. Just them alone really connecting more. I think that can only be a good thing.'

Dakota Johnson's ‘Ex' Chris Martin Makes Appearance Amid Breakup Rumors

Coldplay star Chris Martin has made his first public appearance since rumors of his breakup with Dakota Johnson surfaced on the internet. The 48-year-old English singer was spotted taking a walk in New York City on June 16. Chris Martin, rumored to be Dakota Johnson's ex-boyfriend, was seen in New York City with his son, Moses Martin. For his casual stroll in NYC, Martin opted for business-casual attire, sporting a black T-shirt, a blazer, and aviator sunglasses (via E! Online). Meanwhile, rumors of Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin started surfacing on June 4, three days after the Coldplay frontman urged his fans to watch 'Materialists' in theaters. A source told People that the breakup 'feels final this time.' Insiders close to the couple had previously claimed that Martin and Johnson had 'taken breaks' in their seven-year-long relationship. But they were at a 'great place' even in 2024. A source claimed last year, 'Sure, they've had issues and taken breaks in the past, but things are great now.' The insider added, 'They both love their careers. They are balancing things the best they can.' As for the reason for their 'final' breakup, sources claim that the Madame Web star tried to work their relationship out several times. An insider told Page Six, 'Dakota has been desperate for her and Chris to work out for years.' 'Every time they broke up, she was devastated and in tears,' the insider stated. The source further alleged, 'They really tried to work through their issues, but the age gap was often a problem. She'd (also) expressed that she may want children in the future, whereas Chris is kind of done with that part of his life.' While both Johnson and Martin love each other deeply, the source claimed, 'things were just never lining up for them, and it was very up and down.' 'It was very up and down,' the source added. Despite the rumored split, it seems like the singer and Johnson have an amicable connection. On June 1, Martin mentioned Johnson's new work at his final show in Stanford, California. The Grammy winner had gushed, 'Be kind to yourself, be kind to each other. Don't forget to see Materialists!'
