Where to watch the King's birthday flypast in Suffolk today

Here are the best places to watch the King's birthday flypast in Suffolk as it makes its way to London.
Although King Charles III's actual birthday is on November 14, the Sovereign's birthday is being celebrated today, June 14.
And to mark the occasion there will be a flypast of 34 aircraft, including the Red Arrows, with them entering formation off the Suffolk coast.
The best time to see them in east Suffolk is between 11am and 12.30pm, as they begin the journey to London.
As they come into Suffolk one of the best spots to see them will be on the beach at Aldeburgh or Thorpeness as this will be in the centre of the projected flight path.
Another great place to see the planes will be at Sutton Hoo nature reserve, as this is still central to the flight path, as it begins to follow the A12.
The interactive map bellow can be used to see the route of the flypast.
You will be able to see the flypast in Ipswich, with parks being to best place to be away from buildings that could block the view.
Just outside of Ipswich, near the Orwell Bridge, you can go to the viewpoint car park, which is in a wide open space to ensure the view is not interrupted.
Once the flypast passes over Ipswich, the planes and helicopters will travel along the A12 and leave Suffolk between 12.35pm.
Where it is safe to do so, viewing the flypast from bridges over the A12 is possible where there are footpaths, although due care must be exercised.

The Red Arrows, the much loved aerobatic team of the Royal Air Force will fly over two Cumbrian locations this Saturday, June 21 - as they travel from RAF Aldergrove to RAF Mildenhall. The team are due to fly over Lake Windermere at 11.01pm and then onto Whitehaven at 11.06am on Saturday morning. King's birthday flypast to soar over Suffolk skies this weekend

Plane spotters will be in for something exciting this weekend as aircraft form over the Suffolk skies on the way to the King's birthday flypast in the country's capital. On Saturday, 34 of some of the finest aircraft will be visible over Southwold, Saxmundham, Martlesham, Ipswich and Woodbridge before they fly on towards Buckingham Palace. The best time to see the aircraft over east Suffolk is between 11am and 12.30pm, and for the Ipswich area it is from 12.30pm. READ MORE: King Charles III birthday flypast to be rehearsed in Suffolk The fleet of airplanes and helicopters is expected to rattle over the palace at 1.06pm. Joining the line-up will be the nine-plane Red Arrows fleet, which will be specifically in view of Woodbridge Airfield at 12.55pm. Keen plane spotters can expect to see three Chinooks, three memorial Typhoons, a Poseidon, and four of the F35-B Ghost Lightning models. Timings are weather-dependent.
