ENOC Group Reports Strong 2024 Performance and Accelerates Global Growth

ENOC Group, a leading integrated global energy player, reported a strong 2024 performance, advancing its five-pillar growth strategy and expanding services to over 129 million customers across more than 200 service stations in the UAE and 60 international markets.
Group CEO Saif Humaid Al Falasi credited the results to a sharp focus on operational efficiency, digital innovation, and a commitment to sustainability. He highlighted significant strides in renewable energy solutions, cost reductions, and global expansion, aligning with Dubai and the UAE's ambitious sustainability targets.
In the UAE, ENOC strengthened retail fuel infrastructure by opening nine new service stations, while Tasjeel celebrated 25 years with six new sites. The company also expanded its ENOC Link Smart Station network and received 15 awards for service excellence under its 'Think Customer' strategy.
Internationally, ENOC grew its lubricant business into more than 10 new markets and completed the Horizon JPUT Pipeline in Singapore. Its marine lubricants are now available in over 400 ports worldwide, reinforcing its global reach.
Talent development remained a priority, with Emiratisation reaching 52% across the Group and 100% at the Executive level. Leadership programmes further supported the UAE's national development agenda.
ENOC's sustainability efforts included supplying 1.17 billion US gallons of jet fuel to 300 airports and achieving AED395 million in energy savings since 2014. Workplace safety milestones were also reached, with 20 million safe man-hours recorded in 2024 alone.
Innovation continued to thrive within the Group, with 138 employee-submitted ideas implemented through its Innovation Programme, delivering AED99.2 million in financial gains.

This move aligns with market forecasts indicating that the global electric vehicle fluids market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 28.6% between 2024 and 2030. Additionally, ENOC introduced three new petrol engine oils that meet the latest API SP specifications. The Group also showcased its redesigned lubricant packaging, which was first launched at Automechanika Dubai last year. His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, stated that hosting the event in Southeast Asia allowed the company to engage distributors from high-growth markets and align on global trends. He added that the introduction of Elektra reflects ENOC Group's strategic response to the increasing demand for electric vehicles. SCC approves recommendations to support Sharjah Airport Authority

The Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) held its seventeenth and final session for the second ordinary term of its eleventh legislative chapter, during which it approved a set of recommendations to support Sharjah International Airport Authority. The session, chaired by Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, focused on recommendations prepared by the Committee for Drafting Proposals concerning Sharjah International Airport. These recommendations followed discussions held in the Council's 14th session on 22nd May 2025, attended by the Authority's Chairman and Director along with department representatives. Council members emphasised the importance of supporting and developing the Airport Authority as a vital gateway for Sharjah and a key driver for economic and tourism growth. They called for enhancing infrastructure, expanding services, and improving operational efficiencies to meet the demands of increased global travel and trade. Jassim Al Hanaee Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Proposal Drafting Committee, stressed the comprehensive and future-focused nature of the recommendations. He highlighted the need to upgrade services and anticipate rising passenger numbers. The Council urged continuous development efforts aligned with growth plans. It also stressed the need to grant airport staff the same employment benefits offered to other entities operating within the airport environment. Recommendations included support for Emiratisation policies and encouraging Emirati graduates to work with companies affiliated with the Authority. It called for specialised training programs to open new career paths in aviation for local youth. The Council recommended issuing local legislation to manage idle equipment and vehicles within airport facilities, ensuring efficient space usage and minimising operational disruptions due to financially struggling companies. In future planning, the Council emphasised reviewing growth rates in air traffic and airline rights up to 2050. It suggested evaluating whether to continue expanding the current airport or to consider establishing a new international airport to meet long-term demands. The Council concluded its session with thanks extended to committee members, participating departments, and individuals who contributed to the recommendations and overall discussions.
