The event took place in Thailand and brought together more than 25 international distributors. According to ENOC Group, the meeting aimed to strengthen its commitment to continuous innovation and expanding its global footprint. First-time participation was recorded from markets including Thailand, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Jordan, Congo. This was reported as a sign of the Group's growing international presence and market penetration. During the event, ENOC Group revealed the launch of Elektra , a new range of fluids developed specifically for electric and hybrid vehicles. This move aligns with market forecasts indicating that the global electric vehicle fluids market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 28.6% between 2024 and 2030. Additionally, ENOC introduced three new petrol engine oils that meet the latest API SP specifications. The Group also showcased its redesigned lubricant packaging, which was first launched at Automechanika Dubai last year. His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, stated that hosting the event in Southeast Asia allowed the company to engage distributors from high-growth markets and align on global trends. He added that the introduction of Elektra reflects ENOC Group's strategic response to the increasing demand for electric vehicles. ENOC Group currently exports lubricants to over 60 countries across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. It operates two production facilities in the UAE with a combined annual capacity of more than 300,000 tons. It aims to enhance safety through joint training, coordinated planning, and regular updates to emergency protocols. 'This MoU underscores our commitment to operational safety and resilience,' said Al Falasi. 'Collaborating with DP World strengthens our ability to protect our people, assets, and community.' The partnership mandates annual joint exercises to improve preparedness and response times, led by both organizations' emergency teams. Salik Company PJSC has signed a new agreement with ENOC Group to introduce seamless smart payment solutions at ENOC service stations, marking a significant step in Dubai's digital transformation of mobility and retail services. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed at ENOC's head office by Salik CEO Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad and ENOC Retail Managing Director Zaid Alqufaidi, aims to integrate Salik's e-wallet with ENOC's service offerings. This will allow customers to automatically pay for fuel and other services using their vehicle's number plate, without needing to physically interact with payment systems. Powered by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology, the system links directly to a customer's Salik e-wallet. Once fully rolled out, it will be available across ENOC's extensive network of fuel stations and retail outlets. This same technology is already in use at over 25 parking locations in Dubai and is set to expand to more than 127. The collaboration aligns with both companies' strategies to enhance operational efficiency and user convenience while reducing reliance on traditional payment methods. Dubai motorists will soon be able to automatically pay for petrol using Salik and without having to tap cards or leave cars. Salik has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with ENOC Group to develop smart and seamless payment solutions that enhance the customer experience at ENOC service stations. Under the agreement, Salik and ENOC customers will enjoy a completely seamless experience through the introduction of integrated payment options for fuelling and other services across ENOC Group's network of service stations and retail locations, with the transaction value automatically deducting from the customer's balance in their Salik e-wallet. Salik Dubai petrol payment This is enabled through use of cameras with technology for Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR). This is the same trusted technology currently in use at more than 25 parking locations — and soon expanding to over 127 locations.
