Marcus Thuram says that Inter Milan are 'sad but not angry' after their failure in the Serie A title race against Napoli.
The Frenchman spoke in the UEFA Open Media day press conference ahead of the Champions League final, as reported by FCInterNews. He also said Inter are 'not look for revenge' for 2023 against PSG.

Inter Milan are heading into the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain next Saturday.
However, at the same time, the Nerazzurri are also left to reflect on disappointment in Serie A.
Inter lost out on the title to Napoli on the final day of the season.
Inter had several opportunities to get ahead of the Partenopei in the Serie A table. However, they failed to take advantage of them in the end.

Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram admitted that he was 'sad more than angry.'
'Because we could have won the Scudetto.'

'But now it's all behind us,' the French international added.
Meanwhile, Thuram called the Champions League final 'a special match.'
'Even more so for me. Because I'm playing against the team I grew up with.'
'I also know some of their players,' noted the Nerazzurri striker. 'Let's hope that we win.'
Meanwhile, Thuram had words of praise for his strike partner and Inter's captain Lautaro Martinez. 'He's a leader,' said the 27-year-old.
'It's a privilege to share the pitch with him. And with all the forwards.'
Thuram insisted that Inter 'are a great group.'
Meanwhile, Thuram admitted that 'my performances haven't been as good over the second half of the season as the first.'

'But Inter are in the final. There are ninety minutes to play to win a huge trophy.'
Then, Thuram commented that striker Marko Arnautovic 'helps every player' behind the scenes.
'He gave us a big hand on the pitch when Lauti and I were injured. He's scored important goals.'
Thuram said that Arnautovic is 'like a big brother to me.'
'He's been an important figure in my growth.'
'He knows Inter,' the Frenchman added. 'He won the Treble here.'
Then, Thuram commented that 'I don't think is going to be revenge or a rematch' for the 2023 final.
'We're not playing against City. It's a different season.'
'We don't have to think about it,' the 27-year-old added. 'We want to play our game, as we've done all season.'

Brazilian clubs have made the biggest splash in the FIFA Club World Cup with Flamengo's victory coming on the heels of of Botafogo's shocking defeat of Paris Saint-Germain. The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup has not gone according to plan for some of European soccer's biggest clubs, with Brazilian side Flamengo stunning Chelsea 3-1 on Friday, June 20, providing the latest example. Before a raucous, pro-Flamengo crowd of 54,619 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, the Brazilian club came from a goal down to provide the latest surprise at the Club World Cup, striking three times in the second half to jump to the top of Group D. The upset came one day after another Brazilian team, Botafogo, shocked the world by taking down UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain 1-0. It didn't seem like this game would follow the script of Thursday's shocking result. Neto put Chelsea ahead in the 13th minute after a defensive blunder from Flamengo that could have caused the Brazilian side to lose belief. Instead, a wild six-minute spell in the second half changed everything. First, Bruno Henrique pounced for a 62nd-minute equalizer, and Flamengo nosed in front three minutes later thanks to an acrobatic finish from veteran Brazilian national team defender Danilo. Fabrizio Romano confirms Serie A club Como 'have tried to sign' Man United's Antony 'in recent days'
Serie A outfit Serie A have made an attempt to sign Manchester United winger Antony over the past few days, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed. Antony failed to live up to the massive £86m fee United forked out to secure his services from Ajax in the summer of 2022. Antony enjoyed a dramatic improvement in fortunes under Manuel Pellegrini, notching 14 goals contributions in 26 appearances – just five shy of his entire United tally in nearly a quarter of the time. The Brazilian has made no secret of his desire to continue with Betis, who are also working to try and agree a deal with United. Romano wrote on X, 'Italian side Como have tried to sign Antony in the recent days but Brazilian winger is giving priority to Real Betis return.' If United are unable to strike a compromise with Betis, then the Red Devils can rest assured that there will be no shortage of suitors for the forward.
