JJ Slater feeling ‘insecure' as Katie Price blasted over being ‘disrespectful'
As Katie Price faces backlash for partying with celebs in Ibiza, a source says that her antics will be tough on her boyfriend JJ Slater - and fans urge him to 'dump her' Katie Price' s outrageous bikini-clad antics in Ibiza have sparked calls for her reality star boyfriend John 'JJ' Slater to dump her. The 47-year-old let her hair down last week on a wild trip to the party island, where she was snapped cosying up to a number of shirtless men – including some very famous faces. And her behaviour didn't go down well back home, with Katie accused of being 'disrespectful' towards Married At First Sight UK hunk JJ, 32, who she started dating early last year. However, despite the flood of negative comments, a source tells OK! the warnings will fall on deaf ears and that 'Katie is just being Katie'. 'She can't help but flirt and cosy up to people – it's the life she's always led,' said our source. 'She thinks it's all just a bit of innocent flirting because she's a very loud and larger than life character, but for her boyfriends it's another thing. 'Seeing your girlfriend in a tiny bikini surrounded by a load of topless men is bound to make anyone feel a bit insecure, and JJ is no exception. He's put up with a lot and it's not easy dating someone as famous as Katie. It's not nice for him to see the photos. 'He's aware of what people are saying and he tries to ignore the comments, but it's not easy.' The former glamour model – who was joined for part of the trip by her son Junior Andre, 20 – was snapped partying with former UFC champion Conor McGregor, EastEnders star Dean Gaffney and night club boss Wayne Lineker, owner of the island's famous O Beach club. Her social media posts quickly attracted a slew of critical comments from fans expressing their shock, with many of them calling on JJ – who previously dated his MAFS co-star Ella Morgan – to 'dump her' over her disrespectful behaviour. 'I am in a long-term relationship and out of respect for my partner I wouldn't pose like this with another man,' one follower wrote. Another demanded, 'How can you pose with men like this when having a so-called partner back home?' Other comments included, 'I'd dump her if I was JJ, she's just rubbing his nose in it', and 'JJ should dump her.' Katie got together with JJ in early 2024, a few months after she split from her ex-fiancé Carl Woods, 36. She recently described JJ as 'the most kindest, genuine, easygoing, chilled person'. But she admitted she still didn't feel free or at her 'happiest'. 'It's not a reflection on him, maybe that's what I need to change for myself,' she told Celebs Go Dating's relationship guru Paul C Brunson on his We Need To Talk podcast. Katie has often said that men have been her biggest 'downfall', and once admitted she sought out 'neediness' and ended up in 'toxic relationships'. As well as her failed marriages to Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler, Katie has a string of other famous exes, including footballers Dwight Yorke and Teddy Sheringham, and rugby player Danny Cipriani. She dated her most recent ex, Carl, for three years. He recently accused her of being unfaithful, claiming she cheated on him multiple times and that he'd caught her messaging several footballers, including a 'very famous' England star. However, Katie's camp hit back, describing him as 'another ex cashing in on Kate'. The star flew out to sunny Spain shortly after having her Brazilian bum lift topped up. Dressed in a bikini, two bloodied plasters on the injection sites were visible on her buttocks. But it was the photos of Katie with UFC legend Conor, 36, and footie icon Gary Lineker 's brother Wayne, 63, that created the biggest furore. According to our source, while JJ trusts Katie and knows she's happy with him, he's not immune to feeling insecure over her antics. 'While JJ is a really patient man, everyone has their limits,' the source said. 'He's been there for her through all her surgeries, her bankruptcy hearings, helping with Harvey, so he wants to feel like a priority, not a spare part. 'He knows that she loves him and that she appreciates that he treats her differently to some of her exes, so he works hard to not let it get to him. And he knows that at the end of the day, it's him she comes home to.'

Katie Price gave her opinion on her ex-husband Peter Andre, who she no longer speaks to, and his second wife, Emily MacDonagh Katie Price has spoken candidly about her relationship with ex-husband Peter Andre and his marriage to NHS doctor Emily MacDonagh, revealing insights after a remark from her daughter, Princess. The 46-year-old former glamour model admitted that she and Peter no longer speak, despite co-parenting their two children, son Junior 19, and daughter Princess, 17. Recalling the dynamics of their relationship, Katie spoke about the fallout during their break-up and revealed the couple had split from their mutual manager as well, the Mirror reports. She stated: "It's a shame. It's a shame. I think there [were] too many chefs around us," adding that she'd "like to" talk to him. Peter and Katie tied the knot back in 2005 after they grew close while on the reality TV show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!. Their marriage ended four years later in 2009, and since then Katie has been married two more times. The star first married Alex Reid in 2010, before going on to marry Kieran Hayler, whom she had two children with - Jett, 11 and Bunny, 10. Katie is now in a relationship with a former Married At First Sight star, 32-year-old JJ Slater. Meanwhile, Peter, now 52, found love again with Emily, who is 15 years his junior, and the pair got married in 2015 and share three children; Theo, Amelia and Arabella. In an unusual conversation about Peter's new life, Katie revealed: "I'm glad he's with Emily. She seems like a proper lady. I think it'd be weird if he went for someone like me." Opening up on the What's My Age Again podcast with Katherine Ryan, Katie shared that Princess compares her to Emily, quoting her daughter's comments, Katie said: "[She says] 'You're just so nuts, mum. When I see you and Emily, you're just so different. I can't imagine you and dad'. "I said 'I was with your dad for six years. Trust me, we had a laugh, bantered together, we did'. "She said 'I just can't imagine dad being like that'. I said, 'But he was, he was like that. We did have a laugh'. "And, you know, she can't believe that whenever he went everywhere with me, we were together with the kids. And we'd go as a family. "Emily doesn't do all that for Pete. I said, 'Me and Pete just did it all together as a family. If we'd got you kids, you would come with us'." In a previous discussion about her split from the Mysterious Girl singer, Katie attributed it to a serious misunderstanding. Revealing to Paul C Brunson on his We Need To Talk podcast, she said: "We broke up because he thought I was having an affair with my dressage rider, and I've never slept with him. "I just kept my horse there, and I was happy keeping my horse there, and he [the instructor] was married." Katie went on to say that after an argument, she found out about their breakup through reports on Sky News. The reality star denied that the split was mutual, and later released her own statement, making it clear that she didn't want to part ways with Peter. "Until this day, me and Pete have never sat down and spoken about it. It's all through lawyers," she explained. "I've never sat down with him, we probably would've sorted it out but we were kept apart."

Get Me Out of Here! back in 2004, leading to a fairy-tale wedding at Highclere Castle the next year. Yet, by 2009, their love story had turned bitter, resulting in a split. Katie recently disclosed that she and Peter do not speak, even though they co-parent their son Junior, 19, and daughter Princess, 17. Instead, the pair communicate through their legal teams. Appearing on the Katherine Ryan on the What's My Age Again? podcast Katie described co-parenting as "the most difficult thing". Expressing her feelings about Peter and his new wife Emily, she said, "It's sad, really. Now, we don't even talk, even though I'd like to. I'm glad he's with Emily. She seems like a proper lady. I think it'd be weird if he went for someone like me." Katie shared that Princess is unable to picture her parents as a couple: "But what is funny, Junior and Princess. Mainly Princess, because Junior's more like a bit more guarded, [Princess says] 'I can't imagine you and Dad together. You're just so nuts, Mum. When I see you and Emily, you're just so different. I can't imagine you and Dad'." Katie Price opened up about the lighter moments of her past relationship on Paul Brunson's We Need To Talk podcast, recalling to her daughter: "I said I was with your dad for six years. Trust me. We had a laugh, bantered together. We did. "She said, 'I just can't imagine Dad being like that'. I said, but he was. He was like that. We did have a laugh. And, you know, she can't believe that whenever he went everywhere or me, we were together with the kids. And we'd go as a family." Katie highlighted differences in parenting approaches: "Emily doesn't do all that for Pete. I said, me and Pete just did it all together as a family. If we'd got you kids, you would come with us. Like, she goes, 'I just can't imagine it, Mum.'". During her emotional session on the podcast, Katie also detailed the accusations which led to her split from Peter Andre: "We broke up because he thought I was having an affair with my dressage rider, and I've never slept with him. I just kept my horse there, and I was happy keeping my horse there, and he was married." She expressed her frustration during their breakup, saying: "But when me and Pete split, because he used to keep saying, that's it. I've had enough. I've had enough. It got to a point where I went well f****** divorce me." Katie recollected the dramatic day of her separation: "And I remember the day, because then I flew to the Maldives with the kids. That day, I'm at the airport, it's all on Sky News, it wasn't mutual at all." She said public perception differed from reality: "And then I redone a statement saying I don't want to split with Pete, it's Pete that's splitting with me. Until this day, me and Pete have never sat down and spoken about it." The mum-of-five opened up about the strains of co-parenting, sharing: "Behind the scenes, it's the most difficult thing, but I realised you get to know what people are really like, and I've had it tough. "But yeah, it is sad. Never ever sat down with him and spoke about it. We were kept all of a sudden, split and I think that's where my independence comes from."
