JJ Slater feeling ‘insecure' as Katie Price blasted over being ‘disrespectful'
As Katie Price faces backlash for partying with celebs in Ibiza, a source says that her antics will be tough on her boyfriend JJ Slater - and fans urge him to 'dump her'
Katie Price' s outrageous bikini-clad antics in Ibiza have sparked calls for her reality star boyfriend John 'JJ' Slater to dump her. The 47-year-old let her hair down last week on a wild trip to the party island, where she was snapped cosying up to a number of shirtless men – including some very famous faces.
And her behaviour didn't go down well back home, with Katie accused of being 'disrespectful' towards Married At First Sight UK hunk JJ, 32, who she started dating early last year. However, despite the flood of negative comments, a source tells OK! the warnings will fall on deaf ears and that 'Katie is just being Katie'.
'She can't help but flirt and cosy up to people – it's the life she's always led,' said our source. 'She thinks it's all just a bit of innocent flirting because she's a very loud and larger than life character, but for her boyfriends it's another thing.
'Seeing your girlfriend in a tiny bikini surrounded by a load of topless men is bound to make anyone feel a bit insecure, and JJ is no exception. He's put up with a lot and it's not easy dating someone as famous as Katie. It's not nice for him to see the photos.
'He's aware of what people are saying and he tries to ignore the comments, but it's not easy.'
The former glamour model – who was joined for part of the trip by her son Junior Andre, 20 – was snapped partying with former UFC champion Conor McGregor, EastEnders star Dean Gaffney and night club boss Wayne Lineker, owner of the island's famous O Beach club.
Her social media posts quickly attracted a slew of critical comments from fans expressing their shock, with many of them calling on JJ – who previously dated his MAFS co-star Ella Morgan – to 'dump her' over her disrespectful behaviour.
'I am in a long-term relationship and out of respect for my partner I wouldn't pose like this with another man,' one follower wrote. Another demanded, 'How can you pose with men like this when having a so-called partner back home?'
Other comments included, 'I'd dump her if I was JJ, she's just rubbing his nose in it', and 'JJ should dump her.'
Katie got together with JJ in early 2024, a few months after she split from her ex-fiancé Carl Woods, 36. She recently described JJ as 'the most kindest, genuine, easygoing, chilled person'. But she admitted she still didn't feel free or at her 'happiest'.
'It's not a reflection on him, maybe that's what I need to change for myself,' she told Celebs Go Dating's relationship guru Paul C Brunson on his We Need To Talk podcast.
Katie has often said that men have been her biggest 'downfall', and once admitted she sought out 'neediness' and ended up in 'toxic relationships'.
As well as her failed marriages to Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler, Katie has a string of other famous exes, including footballers Dwight Yorke and Teddy Sheringham, and rugby player Danny Cipriani.
She dated her most recent ex, Carl, for three years. He recently accused her of being unfaithful, claiming she cheated on him multiple times and that he'd caught her messaging several footballers, including a 'very famous' England star.
However, Katie's camp hit back, describing him as 'another ex cashing in on Kate'.
The star flew out to sunny Spain shortly after having her Brazilian bum lift topped up. Dressed in a bikini, two bloodied plasters on the injection sites were visible on her buttocks. But it was the photos of Katie with UFC legend Conor, 36, and footie icon Gary Lineker 's brother Wayne, 63, that created the biggest furore.
According to our source, while JJ trusts Katie and knows she's happy with him, he's not immune to feeling insecure over her antics.
'While JJ is a really patient man, everyone has their limits,' the source said. 'He's been there for her through all her surgeries, her bankruptcy hearings, helping with Harvey, so he wants to feel like a priority, not a spare part.
'He knows that she loves him and that she appreciates that he treats her differently to some of her exes, so he works hard to not let it get to him. And he knows that at the end of the day, it's him she comes home to.'

It's set to be a dramatic week for Kat Moon in next week's EastEnders as she's left worrying about how things are with Alfie, as well as being concerned for her ex, Phil It's been a huge week for Kat and Alfie in EastEnders this week, with the return of Kat's daughter Zoe Slater. However, Kat is completely unaware that Zoe returned to London - and that her husband, Alfie, has gone to Barcelona to follow her after she fled. Next week, she's left worrying about her lack of communication, while also being left concerned about her ex, Phil. It was a close call in scenes earlier this week, as Kat suspected something suspicious was going on in Stacey's flat. She opened the bedroom door, where Zoe was, although she'd already escaped out the window. She later told Stacey she was going to Barcelona, and now Alfie's gone to hopefully bring her back home. However, he told a huge lie to his new wife Kat, telling her that he was off to Australia to visit his brother Spencer. Although she came round to the idea in the end, Kat told Alfie that their relationship would be over for good if she finds out he's lying. Spoilers for next week reveal even more turmoil for Kat and Alfie as she's left is worrying about how things are with her husband Alfie Moon. She tries to confide in Jean Slater, Jean about her hurt over Alfie being incommunicado, but Jean refuses to forgive Kat for going into business with Kathy and Harvey. However, Alfie's lack of communication isn't the only thing concerning Kat, as she's left worried about her ex-husband Phil. Phil's worried about Nigel deteriorating amid his dementia diagnosis, and some of his actions next week leave Phil struggling. During a heart to heart, Kat realises her ex-husband is exhausted and in over his head as she suggests he gets help to care for Nigel. Jean is later left questioning Kat why she's spending so much time at Phil's place, as she insists it's nothing but platonic concern. Last week, Phil was seen giving Alfie an unlikely pep talk after he and Kat called the wedding off. He told Alfie that he was the one Kat always wanted as the two made amends and tied the knot. However, the couple's third marriage to each other hasn't got off on the best foot - starting off on a huge lie. Will Kat find out that Alfie's lying about her whereabouts? If so, how will she react? Will the pair really be over for good like she said? EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Conor McGregor links up with Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers in Ibiza days after 'punch' incident
McGregor has been pictured linking up with Celtic manager Rodgers in Ibiza, just days after the former UFC champion was allegedly involved in a nightclub altercation Conor McGregor has been spotted rubbing shoulders with Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers in Ibiza. The UFC star - who previously claimed he has held discussions to become a Celtic shareholder - took to social media on Friday evening to post a photo of himself alongside the Hoops boss, who was cradling a baby in the image. "LEGENDARY DOUBLE CHAMP LINK UP! NEXT YEAR, TREBLE! GOD IS GREAT! @CelticFC @ufc Congrats to the Rodgers family on the new addition to their family," McGregor captioned the picture on his social media platforms. This encounter between Rodgers and McGregor occurred shortly after the latter was reportedly involved in a scuffle at an Ibiza nightclub. The Sun published footage early Tuesday from Pacha nightclub, which purportedly shows McGregor leaning down to speak to an unidentified man on the dance floor. Seconds later, the 36 year old seems to launch two punches. Following the incident, the man was seen hitting the ground, prompting witnesses to share their accounts of what transpired. One eyewitness told The Sun that it seemed there were no repercussions for the ex-dual-weight UFC titleholder. "The guy seemed to fall to the floor, and his mates came to pick him up and get him away," they reported to The Sun. "There [didn't appear to be any] consequences for Conor." Another recounted: "About five people fell to the floor as the guy stumbled back. It was a bit like bowling pins, but the guy was really shaken." They continued: "About a minute later, the bouncers came and got him on the back and took him out of the club. "It was right before close anyway," they added. "There was no messing around; they just removed him. Conor left through the garden a bit later; he didn't look very happy." Since then, McGregor has shared that he was in Ibiza after treating his football teammates to a trip to the Spanish resort. The UFC star has been playing in an over 35's league with his local pub team and celebrated their recent league victory. "To celebrate winning the league I took the @blackforgeinn football squad away on holiday to Ibiza! All expenses paid, VIP's," McGregor posted on social media along with a selection of snaps and clips from their getaway. He elaborated: "LEAGUE CHAMPIONS, BABY! Reach out, link up, join a team! Get active! For the sake of your mental health you will thank yourself! #ibizapartyisland." Three years ago, McGregor stated talks took place with Dermot Desmond about his shares to provide financial backing for the Parkhead side.
