Princess Eugenie and Beatrice have been in the newscycle lately due to the proximity between their cousin Prince William and uncle, but what exactly does it mean for the future of the Royal family. Though presenting the sisters on the balcony can be seen as an 'olive branch' moment, some royal experts think that it would be a 'huge problem' for King Charles. 'It would bring into focus the fact that [Prince] Andrew does not appear, and anything to do with him is still too toxic,' he told the outlet. 'Unfortunately for the Yorks, there is a problem, a huge problem, and it would send a message that would not be appropriate at the moment.'The commentary comes right after it was reported that Prince William plans to use Princess Eugenie and Beatrice for bigger roles within the family. 'When William ascends the throne, Beatrice and Eugenie will be valuable assets, and I'm certain they will get involved with royal duties. It makes perfect sense, because he will need them,' Ingrid Seward, royal author and editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, told Hello!. 'I see them as a sort of double act, working together in the same way as married couples do. Two gorgeous Princesses working together as sisters would be very powerful. I think it would be wonderful, and I think it will happen,' the author added. However, things don't look quite as smooth for their father Prince Andrew after William wants to excommunicate him from the family once and for all once he's king. 'William's strong stance on 'the Andrew problem' is consistent, unwavering and his influence has been decisive in ensuring Andrew remains sidelined,' Hillary Fordwich told Fox News Digital. 'He is driven by his desire… to protect the monarchy's reputation, doing all he can to safeguard its future.' '[William is] very in touch with the public,' Fordwich added. 'Every public opinion poll has Andrew at the bottom, reinforcing Prince William's stance. Once king, no doubt, Prince William will ensure Andrew is completely excluded from royal life, as well as all public appearances.' For those confirmed to stand on the balcony, the Express, reported that it's believed that Prince William, Princess Kate, and their three children will join Charles and Camilla on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the tradition. Charles will reportedly break Royal tradition by riding in a carriage rather than horseback. Princess Eugenie has been close cousins with Prince Harry since they were kids, but where does she stand with his brother (and enemy), Prince William? It looks like she isn't taking sides in the brothers' feud. Eugenie hinted that she's on good terms with William at a garden party at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, May 20, hosted by William and his wife, Kate Middleton. Also in attendance were William and Eugenie's cousin Zara Tindall; their aunt and uncle Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh; and King Charles' cousin Prince Edward, Duke of Gloucester, and his wife, Birgitte van Deurs Henriksen. 'The Duke remains close to Princess Eugenie. They always have and always will be,' a source told the magazine at the time. But now it seems that Harry hasn't learned s–t.' A source also told Radar Online in May 2025 that Harry and William's feud has put a strain on his marriage to Kate, who is keen to reconcile with Harry. 'William is furious that Harry's speaking out again and doing interviews – he's convinced this isn't the end of it,' the insider said. 'He's made it clear to the rest of the family that they should keep their distance from the Sussexes, because anything shared could be turned against them.' The source continued, 'William doesn't like having to put his foot down with Kate, but he sees this as necessary to protect everyone. What he's most worried about is that anything Kate says to Harry could be twisted or resurface later – especially if there's another book, or if Meghan decides to tell her own side of the story.' The insider added that, while Kate is also 'upset' with Harry, she's more likely to forgive him to reunite the family.
