Man arrested after Katy Perry ambushed on stage in terrifying stage invasion
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The man who stormed the stage during Katy Perry's recent concert has now been arrested and charged with two offences. Since kicking off her Lifetimes world tour last month, the Firework singer has faced a string of viral moments, including for her 'cringe' dancing, confronting a fan and nearly plunging into a crowd. The 40-year-old was met with another unsettling moment after an over-eager fan took things a little too far and jumped on stage with her at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney Footage made the rounds on social media on Monday, showing the shocking moment Johnson Wen – known online as Pyjama Man – crashed her rendition of 2008 hit, Hot N Cold, before being escorted off stage. According to 9News, he was arrested after the incident, and taken to Auburn Police Station. Wen was eventually charged with entering enclosed lands, as well as obstructing a person in the performance of their work or duty. After being granted conditional bail, he was issued with a six-month ban from entering the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct, and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on June 23. Speaking to the outlet after his bizarre antics, Wen claimed that he stormed the stage for fun, and detailed the moment that Perry 'freaked out' at his appearance. 'I said, 'Let me get on stage with you', then she freaked out because she realised I wasn't a performer,' he recalled. 'I was about to do like extra Fortnite moves but security got there too quick.' This isn't his first brush with the law, as he was already banned from the Olympic Park for crashing the Weeknd's concert, and also invaded arenas at the Olympics, the Women's World Cup and the Cricket World Cup final. However, Wen has vowed that he will no longer storm stages, adding: 'I'm planning to quit forever because you get in way too much trouble for it. 'Especially me, because I've done it so many times.' Perry is currently performing in Australia, where she has already played two shows in Sydney and one in Melbourne. On Monday night, a clip shared by Pop Crave showed the musician belting out her 2008 hit while holding a guitar. Things then took a turn when Wen appeared on stage, before running up to her and grabbing her shoulder, while excitedly jumping up and down. Visibly uncomfortable by the encounter, Perry spun away and told the confused crowd: 'Well, there's never going to be another show like this, so just enjoy it, Sydney.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Security were then seen trying to drag him off stage. Soon after, the Roar icon exclaimed to the audience: 'What the hell is going on?' Just a few days ago she also faced a near-miss after being suspended by a crane while singing. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video During her set, Perry soared over the mosh pit, but after the crane tilted unexpectedly, she was briefly left upside down. Realising her risk of plunging headfirst into the sea of people, she was heard exclaiming, 'Oh dear!' However, she continued with the song and waved to the arena to assure everyone she was fine. Last month, she also narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction at a Las Vegas show when her bra snapped. 'Oh, my bra's gonna come off,' she joked, dancing along while calling to her crew for help. More Trending 'Get my bra back on, Patrick,' she said before turning to the audience and joking: 'Sorry, guys, you didn't pay that much.' After massive demand for her shows Down Under, Perry added extra ones, and will now perform a total of 15 in Australia, where she'll be until the end of the month. She is set to bring her Lifetimes Tour to the UK later this year, playing concerts in Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, and London in October. Got a story? Watch the scary moment Katy Perry gets ambushed, startled by rogue fan on stage
The one that got away. Katy Perry was ambushed by a rogue fan who found his way onto the stage during her 'Lifetimes' tour this week. The scary incident occurred on Monday night as the 40-year-old singer was performing her hit song 'Hot N Cold' during a concert in Sydney, Australia. Perry appeared visibly shaken during the startling encounter, and she quickly grabbed her guitar and spun away from the stage crasher immediately after he put his arm around her shoulders. 'Well, there's never going to be another show like it, so just enjoy it, Sydney,' Perry said into the microphone as the dancing fan was grabbed by security, per a video of the incident shared to X. 'What the hell is going on?!' the 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' singer then shouted as the interloper was finally escorted off the stage. Although Perry kept her cool during the incident and continued her performance without a hitch, fans of the pop star rushed to social media to express their shock regarding the 'very dangerous' incident. 'A very dangerous moment,' one person tweeted. 'Security to be fired, especially the one who was supposed to guard the entrance to the stage. Katy's bodyguard was the first. This could have ended really badly!' 'Why did he think that would be a good idea to assault an artist like that?' commented another fan. 'Katy Perry took it in a professional way, thank god she is ok.' 'Katy handled that like a pro – chaos on stage, and she still kept it cool,' added a third. 'Iconic energy. Now that's how you own the moment.' However, other viewers claimed that the incident was 'staged.' 'Staged,' one skeptical person tweeted. 'So she can go viral.' 'Honestly, this looks staged,' added a second person. 'And I hope it is because if it's real, that's seriously worrying.' The Post has reached out to Perry's rep for comment. Meanwhile, that wouldn't be the first time that the 'Firework' hitmaker suffered a startling mishap mid-concert. On May 17, during a show in Las Vegas, Perry's bejeweled bra almost popped completely off during her performance of 'Part of Me.' 'Oh s–t,' Perry said into the microphone during the wardrobe malfunction, 'my bra is gonna come off.' 'Put my bra back on, Patrick,' she joked after calling over one of her assistants. 'Sorry, guys, you didn't pay that much.' Shortly before her wardrobe malfunction, the 'I Kissed a Girl' songstress 'scolded' a fan for messaging her husband, Orlando Bloom. 'I know why you're here,' she began. 'Listen, if you keep DM-ing my man… you've been doing it for months, ever since the residency. You didn't come to see me play.' 'If you keep on DM-ing my man, I'm gonna have you removed,' Perry continued. 'Seriously, get your own life. I'm his wife. I don't want it. I'm his.' 'He don't want you, Kyle. I'm his wife,' she added. 'I'm his, he's mine… stay the f–k away!' It was later revealed that Perry's shocking remarks were scripted and part of the transition into her next song, the 2024 single 'I'm His, He's Mine.'

Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom reportedly plan to split after her tour — as relationship breakdown is revealed
Trouble in paradise? Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom reportedly plan to break up after the 'Firework' singer finishes her current 'Lifetimes' tour later this year. 'It's over,' a source told Page Six on Tuesday. 'They are waiting till her tour is over before they split.' The 40-year-old pop star's current tour kicked off on April 23 and is scheduled to run until Dec. 7. Other insiders have also claimed that Perry and Bloom, 48, are going through a rough patch and 'spending more and more time' away from one another. 'They have been spending more and more time apart,' another source told Us Weekly this week. 'They've grown apart and aren't living the same lives anymore.' 'It's an unspoken thing that they are having issues and have for a while now,' a second insider told the outlet. 'Everyone around them knows.' Although Bloom has allegedly been keeping his and Perry's relationship problems 'close to the vest,' he has been 'out and about more often' without his 'Hot N Cold' singer fiancée. 'Katy has been very busy working, and they are apart often,' the second source added. 'That has caused tension.' However, additional insiders have claimed that the tension in Perry and Bloom's relationship started with the pop star's poorly received '143' album upon its release back in Sept. Even though the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor was said to be 'understanding' of Perry's frustration, the situation reportedly still caused friction between the pair. 'Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,' a source told People on Monday. 'It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.' 'She was also disappointed in some of the tour reviews,' they added. 'It's put stress on their relationship.' Insiders close to the 'I Kissed a Girl' singer and 'Troy' actor have also pointed to the fact that the pair have still not tied the knot despite being engaged since 2019 as a serious point of contention. '[Perry and Bloom] never set a date for the wedding or got around to planning anything and Orlando is over it,' a source close to the couple told Us Weekly. 'Things aren't good,' another insider added. The couple first met at a Golden Globes after-party in 2016. Bloom proposed three years later on Valentine's Day, and they welcomed a daughter, Daisy Dove, 4, in August 2020. However, Perry and Bloom split for a year in 2017. The 'Last Friday Night' hitmaker opened up about that breakup in 2024 during an appearance on the popular 'Call Her Daddy' podcast. 'We weren't really in it from day one,' Perry explained at the time. 'He was in a way because he had just done a time of celibacy and he had set intentions.' 'I was fresh out of a relationship,' she added, 'and I was just like, 'I can't do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond.'' The Post has reached out to Perry and Bloom's reps for comment.

Katy Perry fan arrested after storming stage during Australian concert
Katy Perry's performance took an abrupt turn after a fan approached her on stage. A man has been arrested and charged with two offenses after he ambushed the pop star during a concert in confirmed with Fox News Digital that around 9:20 p.m. on Monday, June 9, a man jumped on stage and was detained by security. "The man was arrested by police and taken to Auburn Police Station where he was charged with two offenses - [entering] enclosed lands - not prescribed premises and [obstructing] person in performance of work or duties," the statement from Burwood Police Area Command read. The disruptive fan was granted conditional bail and is scheduled to appear at Burwood Local Court on June 23, 2025. In a fan video, the man was seen running towards Perry as she was about to take her mic off the stand, during her performance on the Australia leg of her Lifetimes Tour. He stormed the stage during Perry's performance of "Hot N Cold" and grabbed her shoulder. Perry was caught off guard and yelped before she swerved to dodge his arm. The man was then seen jumping with the crowd. The "Teenage Dream" singer continued with her performance as the fan began to dance on stage. Two security guards chased the man offstage, as another staff member walked behind them. The man was ultimately removed by additional security personnel."Well, there's never going to be another show like this. So just enjoy it, Sydney," Perry was heard saying to the crowd as she acknowledged the awkward fan encounter. She continued to scream to her audience, "What the hell is going on?" Fans were quick to react to the viral moment, as one concert-goer commented on the video. "I was there and she handled it super well hit I can't imagine how scary that would've been. Imagine if that person had bad intentions, security took too long," one comment read. Several comments argued that security didn't act quickly enough to solve the situation. "That's scary how long it took security to take him away. Someone with bad intentions could have hurt her easily," another user wrote. One fan wrote, "omg that's not okay — why didn't the security do something BEFORE???? i mean katy handled it professionally and didn't panic, true performer behavior." In April, the "Firework" singer kicked off her space-inspired tour in Mexico City. Her Lifetimes Tour comes after she received major backlash for her high-profile seat on the Blue Origin New Shepard mission.
